Chapter Thirteen
To say that Megan was furious and determined was a vast understatement, as she had this rage she had not felt in a long time, and it both motivated and scared her at the same time.
Charlie was feeling anger as well, as he was now wondering what else Archer is hiding and he wondered what else he was after, or who.
An agent told them that Archer fled them a couple minutes prior to Megan's phone call, so he couldn't have gone too far from the hospital. The Holden brothers were luckily still there and they were just as confused as everyone else was as to what was going on and also felt anger about what was going on.
"Roger, what do we do now, do we tell them what happened to us now or wait?" Ron asked his brother, not knowing Megan was right behind them
"I'd say that you guys tell us everything right now, since we have no idea what we are dealing with and you guys are all we have to go, so start talking." Megan said, annoyed that the Holdens still haven't told them everything.
'Though I suppose some of this is my fault, I didn't consider that Archer would send them into a trap, even if I should but it has to wait, as we still have larger problems to deal with.'
Both Ron and Roger were a little reluctant due to the fact they both have memories that they don't want to remember and Ron himself really didn't want to talk about how he escaped his captors when he was 21 years old.
"Look I know you guys might be reluctant to talk about it, and I know what happened was traumatic but you have to understand that we need to know what you guys know about the Marquez."
At this point Charlie also chimed in, getting tired of all secrecy right now and wanted to know everything as well:
"My brother had almost been killed twice by these people, along with several friends of mine and, for all we know, they could come after all of us, even you two, so please tell us what is going on." Charlie said, just desperate as to why all of this is happening and what could they do to stop them.
Both Roger and Ron knew they couldn't beat it around the bush anymore and they had to talk about what has been happening all these years.
"Alright," Roger said, "I'll tell you what you want to know."
"So will I," Ron said
Alan and the others had already joined in, excluding the children, as they wanted to know everything, and Megan wasn't about to show them out, as she knew it would be futile to even try. Alan in particular wanted to hear it so he could help Don and the others recover and put all of is behind them.
"Thank you," Megan said, turning to Roger
"Let's start with you, what happened after you kidnapped at thirteen."
She was about to get answers that she wanted and she knew they had limited amount of time.
'I might not like some of it but from what I know about this gang, there is a lot that I am not going to like hearing, so might as well hear it out,'
