Chapter Seventeen

Meanwhile…

Location unknown…

Archer smiled to himself, as he knew it would be awhile before anyone could find him and stop his plans. It was a plan that was years in the making, long before the Holdens and the others were taken from their families.

'Its been a long game, but I am finally getting closer to taking control the Marquez gang and I will soon have control of the other LA gangs,' He happily thought to himself

It took him longer than he expected but he believed that it was worth it as now he can easily get members to follow his lead and start raiding rival gangs' territory, which will cause an eventually gang war.

'I was hoping that Assistant Director Eppes would be dead by now but given the drugs he was given, it will be awhile since the doctors wouldn't be able to detect all of them since they were only looking for certain types and they don't know that so I will be long gone.'

Meanwhile…

Don had a strange taste in his mouth and he wasn't sure if it was due to what the sedatives he was injected with or anything else. He told Dr. Markson and she told him that they would run tests to see if there is a complication but she reassured him that it was probably nothing but they will be sure.

'It's probably nothing but you never know,' Don thought

Everyone was also concerned about it as well, because with the recent revelation about Archer, they wondered if there is something else going on.

"Are you okay Dad?" Don asked

Alan was just amazed that his oldest, who is recovering from an attempted kidnapping and he is asking if he was okay.

"Doing okay, Donnie," Alan said, "Just worried,"

"So am I, about this and everything that has been going on." Don admitted

Before anyone could say anything else, Dr. Markson came in with a very worried look and that alarmed everyone.

"What is it?" Alan asked

"Ryan is going into cardiac arrest and we have to take Don to get detoxed as we found a very powerful sedative in his system and if we don't do anything soon, he will go into cardiac arrest as well."
