Barbara then set the coordinates to when she wanted to travel to. "So what's the game plan?" Cyborg asked. "My plan is to travel to the day before Darkseid captured you," explained Barbara, "I'm going to talk to your past self and warn the other you about this future. Hopefully the younger you heeds my warning and makes the right decision."
"That right decision is going to involve Victor dying, Barbara. I understand you've lost a lot, but is sacrificing Victor and this timeline truly worth it?" Clark asked, displeased by these absolutes. "Clark, all of this is on me," said Victor, "if I have to die to ensure I don't release the virus, then it's for the better. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." Clark nodded, understanding that sacrifices need to be made. "Now your consciousness will travel to your body from this particular date in the past that you set Babs," explained Cisco, "You need to remain awake in your past body and your mind must remain calm. If you succeed, your consciousness will travel to a new timeline in that body. You will be the only one to have remembered this previous timeline." Barbara put on the time travelling helmet and said, "alright then, let's do this." She then laid on her back, getting ready. "Good luck Barbara Gordon," wished Clark, giving her a respectful nod. Cisco then used his Vibe powers to activate the time travelling helmet. Barbara closed her eyes, and her conscious travelled to the past.
The Day Before The Anti-Life Virus...
It was 8:00 a.m. when Barbara woke up in her bedroom. She looked around, woke up from her bed, and picked up her cell phone that was at 100%. She checked the date and time, and saw it was the day before Cyborg was abducted. She smiled. "It works!" Barbara thought excitedly, relieved that her cell phone didn't contain a virus that would kill her. She then contacted her father, James Gordon. In less than a minute, Jim picked up the phone and said, "Gordon here." Barbara breathed in and said, "Hey Daddy..." She was starting to she'd tears. "Hey Princess. Did you just wake up?" Jim asked on the phone. "Yeah, I did..." Barbara replied, "I just wanted to see how you were doing..."
"I'm doing well. Thanks for asking Barb," Jim said on the phone. Barbara was just happy to hear her father's voice, alive and well. "No problem," replied Barbara, "I also called to say I love you Daddy..." Jim said on the phone, "I love you too, pumpkin. I'm at work right now, so I'll talk to you later." Barbara wiped a tear from her right eye and said, "Alright then. Talk to you later, Dad. Bye..." She then hung up, letting out a heavy sigh, reminding herself to remain calm and have peaceful thoughts. Barbara decided to take a shower to calm herself down. Once she was clean, Barbara got dressed and ate some breakfast and coffee. After she was finished eating, Barbara was tempted to call Kevin. "No, it may be 8:35 a.m. in Gotham, but it's 5:35 a.m. in Bellevue, Washington." Barbara thought, "time zones of course. I should call Victor. I need to tell him what's about to happen tomorrow." Barbara picked up her cell phone and called Victor Stone. 30 seconds later, Cyborg picked up and said, "yo, this is Cyborg. 'Sup?"
"Hello Victor, I'm Barbara Gordon," she said, "I'm Batgirl, an ally to Batman. And I dated your friend Dick Grayson." Cyborg then said on the phone, "Oh yeah! I heard your computer skills are awesome. Dick told me a lot about you. What can I do you for, Babs? You mind if I call you Babs?" Barbara cleared her throat and said, "Well, I need to speak to you, face to face that is. It's very important. Do you need me to give you my address?" Cyborg replied, "it's no problem. I'm part machine, and my systems can tell where your phone's at. It'll be easy to find you and meet you. See ya in a few seconds." A few seconds later, a Boom Tube appeared in Barbara's room, and Cyborg came out of the Boom Tube. The portal disappeared. "Nice to meet you Babs," said Cyborg, "You wanted to speak to me?" Barbara nodded and said, "I did Victor. You may want to sit down Victor, because what I'm about to say may sound may sound impossible and almost crazy, but it's true. What I'm about to tell you is so important, it holds the very fate of the universe as we know it."
