Chapter Eighteen
Few minutes later…
After Don was taken to detox, everyone wondered what to do next as they worried about Don's health. It was bad enough that he was nearly taken somewhere that they wouldn't be able to find him but he was given a drug that could induce cardiac arrest, though they are hoping that won't be the case.
Charlie in particular didn't know what he could do but he knew that he needed to do something to make sure that Archer doesn't get away with this and Charlie will do what he can to make sure that happens.
"Megan, I am going to help you find Archer," He said matter-of-factly
"All right, Charlie, but still, be careful," Megan said
Charlie had to smile at that, as his brother and team will always look out for him no matter the situation. He knew that they didn't always have to but it was something he had come to appreciate and not take for granted.
'Besides' Charlie thought to himself, 'I am one of those people that need it, as I realize I get myself into trouble more than I should.'
A couple hours later, Dr. Markson came in smiling, saying that they were able to get the drugs out of Don's system and that they were able to save Ryan as well, giving everyone much relief, especially Ryan's family, who had just got in and would be able to see him when things were settled. Alan couldn't believe that they were so lucky so far, as this could easily have gone the other way and he doesn't believe he would be able to handle another funeral of his immediate family.
Charlie and Amita began working on equations to help locate Archer and anyone else who might be with him. Both were just glad that they didn't have to leave the hospital for either protection or to work because they were able to use laptops in the waiting room.
After a half hour of work, they were able to get two possible locations as to where Archer was and they said they would continue to work to see if there was anywhere else he could be in case he wasn't at those two locations.
'Wherever you are, Archer, I don't care why you are doing this or even how, we will find you,' Charlie thought to himself
They would later find that it wouldn't be even necessary to find any other location, as Archer would soon try to make himself known to everyone.
