Chapter Nineteen
Archer was monitoring the news and was surprised that there has not been a mention as to whether or not if Assistant Directors Eppes and Michaels died or not and that made him concerned.
'I mean maybe they are waiting or something to report it after they inform the FBI but I don't think that would be the case.' Archer thought to himself
He decided that he needed to take drastic action to draw out another members who still oppose him and Archer knew it was a risk.
He took out a gun and started shooting out in the air, believing that was the best way to get a member's, Jace Maken, attention and bring him out but at the same time he started doing that, several black sedans started surrounding him, leading Archer to realize that he had given away his location.
Before he could further react, several agents quickly took him down, ending his plans to try to further take over gangs.
'I can't believe that this is happening,' Archer thought
Soon the news reached the hospital, which was a relief to everyone, since now they can figure out different gaps as to what was going on and move on with their lives from the events from all those years ago.
Charlie told Don and the others what happened and Don was happy with the outcome as there was some things that needed to be sorted out, as he wanted to figure out as to what Darin was up and how Archer is involved.
It later turned out that Darin had a mole within the Bureau and that was how he was able to ensure that he could join under an assumed name and that he was going to take Don to the same location where the bomb was and leave him there.
Archer was planning on getting rid of Darin when the younger man was left alone and kill him when no one was looking and take complete control of the gang. The main problem was that there was too many members of the gang who were loyal to both Darin and his father, so Archer was trying to off everyone and all witnesses to previous crimes while pretending to have all answers some people were looking for when it came to their past and used it gain their trust.
No one was sure entirely if Archer had other plans but they had enough evidence to put him away in prison and ensure that he doesn't hurt anyone else again. Archer also admitted to several murders of civilians who got in the way and that ended up solving several cold cases in the process.
It was a case everyone would rather not go through again and everyone was dreading having to go through a trial phase but it soon turned out that it might not be the case.
