"So what's gotten into shorty?" The orange haired Psychic asked along with two others as they stood in the room.

"Yeah, why's he gotten so fixated onto Botan all of a sudden?" The clad in green black haired youth said as well.

"Keep quiet, I'm looking." The Prince of the Spirit Realm said as he looked on browsing through the book.

"Please be patient Yusuke, Kuwabara." The rose haired member of the group said to them. "I'm sure Prince Koenma is looking diligently for us." He spoke up.

"Thank you Kurama." Koenma said as he sucked on his Pacifier glad at least one of them remembered to show him the proper respect that he deserved unlike the other ungrateful louts who's names he wouldn't say. "I've heard of such an thing you are describing. It should be in this old book." He said as he flipped a page and examined the contents for it.

"Well hurry up will ya." Yusuke badgered him his hands in his pockets a look of irritation on his face at how long they were waiting. "Not like I got all day."

The group along with the fourth member of the team had been on a mission. A group of middle class ranked demons had infiltrated human realm and were causing havoc, replacing regular artifacts with magical ones from demon realm that went off. They had found the artifacts and had defeated the demons thus stopping their chaos they had been causing.

But as they had prepared to go back after completing the mission, Hiei the Fire Demon had taken a hold of one of the artifacts when it had glowed in his face. He had dismissed it as nothing saying he was alright and they had returned to Koenma's office to report their missions success.

Things had went well until when Botan, The Ferry Girl and assistant to the group had entered the room and had caught Hiei's attention when she did. The next thing they knew, before any of them could react or realize what was going on, Hiei had lunged forward, grabbed her by the face and kissed her right in front of everyone.

After picking their jaws up off the floor from what they just witnessed they had pulled and pried Hiei away from her as Botan was a sputtering mess her mind having gone into shock. Hiei had tried to break away from them and get back to her who had quickly fled the room after she regained her senses while they managed to drag him out of the room.

They had taken the struggling Hiei who had fought them every inch of the way and tied him up in another room before returning to Koenma so they could understand what the hell in all three realms just happened right now.

"Aha! I found it!" Koenma said suddenly and he held open the book and showed the page to them.

"Hey, that's that artifact shorty was holding!" Kuwabara pointed out as they saw on the page a green orb like object.

"Indeed, its called The Orb of Desire." Koenma responded to them as he explained it name.

"Orb of Desire? Let me guess, its not a friendly type is it?" Yusuke dryly said having gotten used to such from previous incidents.

"The Orb of Desire was a magical powerful artifact, well over three thousand years old." Koenma muttered as he looked on reading the book. "A Demon Warlord possessed it and while his power was only a B Class at the most, he used it to destroy any who intruded on his territory."

"What you mean?" Kuwabara asked.

"Yeah, speak English will ya Toddler." Yusuke said in annoyance

"The Orb upon activating affects a person and makes them be overwhelmed with lust and desire for the first person of the opposite sex that they see." Koenma explained to them. "He would position the orb in the path of approaching armies along with several females. Once they got close it would activate and so full of lust and desire upon seeing them would drop their weapons and would rush to mate and have sex with the girls. While that was happening, his army would encircle and crush and cut them down as so intent on fulfilling their passions they were unaware of it until they were dead." He stated to them at what its power was

"I see," Kurama said looking on. "An effective tool, to make one succumb to fleshly desires and forget about all other things and make them blind to everything else."

"It was assumed the Orb had disappeared or was destroyed long ago but it was not so, apparently those demon crooks had found it unaware of its true power and took it with them when they went on their spree of mischief. Apparently Hiei when he picked it up activated and got affected by it." Koenma finished explaining to them. "And then he decided to go and do the tongue tango with Botan when he saw her as she was the first female he saw."

"So that's what happened to Short stuff then?" Kuwabara asked as he think he got the gist of it. "Got hit by Cupid's Arrow or something like that?"

"That's one way of putting it, Hiei was affected by the orb's power and he seeing how he saw the first being of the opposite sex which was Botan, become consumed with lust and desire for her." Kurama said as he brought a hand up to his chin as he thought it over.

"Well better he saw her than Keiko I suppose." Yusuke said with a shrug after taking it all in.

"Hey! Urameshi! How can you be so nonchalant about it?!" Kuwabara shouted over his lack of concern.

"Well, I've kinda had the suspicion that maybe if he got laid once in a while he'd might be a more pleasant person to be around." Yusuke responded to him.

"Only you would have your mind in the gutter at a time like this. You disgust me you know that?"

"Oh yeah? Sounds like to me your just jealous that you didn't get it first and he has a chance to get some before you do." Yusuke said to him the two nose to nose and ready to exchange blows.

"That's it!" Kuwabara shouted forming his Spirit Sword.

"Koenma, exactly how long will he be under its spell?" Kurama asked ignoring them as he was now glancing out towards Koenma's door having not joined up with them in the middle of the room.

"Who knows, it could be hours I'd wager or until he's fulfilled his desires." Koenma answered.

"I see, well then I suppose we have no choice then. I suppose we won't have to wait long then for Hiei and Botan. Farewell." Kurama said and turned and exited the room with a wave. A feeling in his mind how this was going to play out.

"Huh? Hey, do you think he knows something we don't?" Yusuke asked with suspicion at his exit.

"Beats me." Kuwabara replied not understanding.

"Well anyway, take Hiei and put him in a cell but make sure he's okay as he's not a prisoner, that should keep him sufficed until it wears off and then I'll let him out. I'll lock down the portals so he can't journey to the Human Realm once you do. While you was prying him off I sent Botan to do tasks there so to keep her busy and away just in case." Koenma said as he came to a decision

"Aye Aye, El Capitan." Yusuke replied and he and Kuwabara left.

"Sheesh, who would've thought shorty would get all lovey dovey?" Kuwabara said as the two walked to the room where they had kept Hiei tied up

"I know, its almost funny when you think about it." Yusuke said with a snicker that the most stoic and anti social of the team would act in such a way. The two walked and reached the room where they had left Hiei.

"Hey, do you smell something burning?" Kuwabara asked as they reached it.

"Ah its just your imagination." Yusuke said as he opened it and the two looked on inside.

Hiei wasn't there, the chair was seen having been knocked over and the ropes that had been wrapped around him were on fire as cinders and small flames filled the room.

"Uh oh…" The two said as they looked on as each knew what this meant. Hiei had gotten loose and had left the room to find Botan.

Like a black blur the fire demon moved throughout Spirit World before emerging into The Human Realm. Nothing but a singular pursuit on his mind that he would let nothing stop him from finding her. He was moving so fast that none of the denizens of Spirit World noticed him or if they did thought their minds were playing tricks on them with how fast he was going.

He had easily burned through the ropes that they had foolishly wrapped around him thinking that they alone would be enough to hold him. Nothing would stop him! He would let nothing get in his way from finding that which he desired.

Continuing to move on, with his third eye exposed, he pinpointed her exact location and licked his lips in eager anticipation as he dashed.

Botan nervously walked about the living room of her apartment home. The powder blue haired girl having a blush on her face as she had recalled just what exactly had happened just minutes earlier.

"Ah! Good to see you that guys were successful it looks like." The Ferry Girl chimed happily as she walked through the doorway entering Koenma's office were the four were gathered after completing the mission.

"More of a hassle than a mission." Yusuke dryly said in response to her. "Lucky I ain't gotta cancel my date with Keiko or else she wouldn't talk to me for a week again."

Botan let out a small laugh as she stared at the four. While three of them greeted her cordially, the fourth was off minding his own business as usual never being one for social interaction.

"Hn, if we don't have anything else to do, I'd like to go and leave if you don't mind." Hiei muttered in his usual tone.

"Why Hiei, is someone afraid that their tree might get chopped down if he isn't there?" She asked in a teasing manner and Hiei turned his head to glance at her as if to make a snide remark.

Botan paid no attention to the fact that when he did he didn't say anything or didn't pull away from looking at her. In fact he said nothing at all. He appeared to be transfixed on her which didn't go noticed by any of them as the group continued to talk.

Botan after a few moments suddenly realized that his gaze was still on her and she turned her head and saw that he appeared to be focused on her. A look of confusion crossed her face as she stared ahead and went to speak up.

She didn't get a chance to do so as Hiei dashed in front and grabbed her and before she could so much as let out a squeak of surprise was kissed by him.

Botan brought a hand up to her lips as she remembered what just happened a bigger blush forming on her face as she recalled him kissing her. She could still feel them lingering against her own which seemed to be stuck there until the guys reacted and pulled Hiei off of her.

Koenma after they had taken him out of the room had quickly ordered her to go to The Human Realm and she had complied not giving it a second thought

Botan's cheeks were a rosy color as she recalled how unexpectedly soft and moist his lips were against her own. "Get a hold of yourself girl, This is Hiei we're talking about. Who knows what was going through his mind or why he did it." She said to herself. She didn't know or understand why he did it. Was he planning something and trying to get her to drop her guard? No, of course not, she had kept her promise to not tell Yukina the truth despite wanting to and knowing the two siblings should be together. And him kissing someone was not his style at all. The only thing his adversary would ever kiss was the tip of the sword as he plunged it into them.

Botan calmed herself down. Getting a glass of water she took a sip and set it down as she was feeling much better.

She then heard the sound of a foot planting itself on the ground as she realized that someone was in her home.

Whipping around her purple eyes widened in shock at who she saw standing there. "Hiei?!" She called out in shock as he was in her home. "W-What are you?" She sputtered out as she saw in the background an open window which he had snuck in entering her home.

Hiei looked on at her, a smile on his face upon seeing The Ferry Girl. A predatory smile that which a Tiger would give its prey was on his face. His headband was back on covering up over his middle eye as it wasn't needed now.

Botan stunned at what she saw saw her communicator nearby on the table but it was too far away for her to reach it and contact the others, if she tried Hiei would stop her with his blinding speed, what she would give for her oar or bat right about now.

She looked on at him and saw him take a step forward towards her.

Hiei, Hiei was here in her home and was cornering and advancing onto her.

Botan backed away from the advancing fire Demon who approached her. Botan stepped backwards until her back suddenly hit the wall leaving her nowhere to go as Hiei closed the distance his eyes always on her.

She felt Hiei's gaze upon her as he stared directly onto her face as her face was burning crimson as he brought his arms up to the side of the wall preventing her from trying to escape if she tried to move.

"Botan," He said in a husky tone which was the first time he had ever said her name. He looked on up at her as Botan nervously swallowed fear in her stomach as he had her with nowhere to go.

"Hiei, please-" She started to say and try to plead with him when she was interrupted when he leaned up and kissed her.

A gasp of shock escaped Botan's lips as she squeaked in surprise feeling his lips on her own. She tried to push him off but he grasped her arms with his hands clamping around them like iron shackles pinning them against the wall as he wasn't going to let her get away.

Hiei continued to kiss her, his lips meshing and moving against her own as Botan blushed heavily. She let out squeaks and cries of protest at what was going on but he ignored her as he continued kissing her. His rough lips moving against her own smooth pair.

Demon and Ferry Girl stood there against the wall, The Fire Apparation determined to have her.

Botan's eyes squinted heavily as she felt his tongue against her lips trying to gain entrance into her mouth, her face glowing brightly more so than her Kimono she had on.

It was then a sound escaped her lips, a sound that sounded delightful to Hiei.

A moan...

Giving in at last, Botan shut her eyes and granted him access to the caverns of her mouth which he eagerly did so. His tongue slithered into her mouth and engaged her own, entangling it as the two kissed, Hiei loosening the grip on her arms as he knew she wouldn't resist against him anymore.

Botan her eyes shut felt herself in heaven right about now as Hiei resumed kissing her. She kissed him back as the two continued to kiss one another.

The two after a minute broke away for much needed air to fill their lungs. A dreamy smile was on Botan's face as Hiei reaching forward grasped her chin with his hands gently touching her face before kissing her once more. Botan's hands came up, not to shove him away but to rest on his shoulders as her lips moved against his own. Never in a thousand years would she have guessed that she'd be kissing Hiei, or that he would be the instigator in it, but right now she didn't care as she just wanted more which he was eager to provide.

Hiei broke the kiss before settling on a different target, Botan's neck. He began to kiss the neck making Botan cry out in pleasure. He kissed and licked her neck, the same way he would do soft snow as Botan tilted her head and neck giving him better access and room.

Botan felt her body shivering as it was both hot and cold at the same time at what was happening to her. Goosebumps were forming on her skin at what Hiei was doing to her.

The Ferry Girl feeling bold tilted her head down and kissed him softly on his mouth and then on his nose. The Fire Demon raised an eyebrow intrigued at her actions and she gave him a cat smile in response.

Hiei kissed her once more and Botan shut her eyes again.

His hand reached up to her hair up to Botan's ponytail before undoing the band in it and it dropped to the ground and Botan's long blue locks flowed freely down past her neck and shoulders and his hands then lowered down past her waist before settling onto her hips.

Hiei easily scooped her up effortlessly, carrying her with zero difficulty as he carried and held her. Botan acting on instinct wrapped her long legs around his waist her arms pressing around his neck as she continued to kiss him.

Hiei began to carry her as he wanted privacy for the two of them as he walked through her home and came to a door which he believed was for her bedroom.

"Wait," Botan called out to him before he pushed the door open.

"What?" He asked just barely hiding his annoyance at them stopping.

"That's the bathroom silly." She said with a giggle as she knew he had no idea where she kept anything at in her home. "The other door leads to my bedroom." She said to him and Hiei let out a small chuckle at her before turning.

He kicked the door open as he carried the bundle he had as the two entered the room. Marching over to the bed he set Botan down on it, The Ferry Girl's pretty head leaned down on the pillow her long blue hair sprawling out all over it

The mattress had more than enough room to hold the two of them as he joined her on it.

He looked on at her as she looked up at him with adorable pleading eyes as he discarded his jacket and sword leaving him in his sleeveless shirt and pants. His hands wondered around behind Botan until coming to the ribbon of her Kimono and swiftly undid it and peeled away her Kimono exposing more of her flesh to his eager eyes.

His eyes drank in the sight, as Botan was clad in matching purple undergarments that she wore, The Ferry Girl felt his hand trace its way up sending chills throughout her as she panted heavily.

Hiei leaned down and kissed her as she wrapped her arms around his neck and returned the kiss as they resumed from where they had left off

A short while later, Hiei's eyes scrunched up before opening and he found himself staring at the roof of a place he did not know or recognize. A look of confusion appeared on his face as he did not recognize where he was at as he realized that he was on a bed, a soft mattress rested against his body. The only other time he had slept on a bed was the Dark Tournament and this room was vastly different as the colors and design made him nauseous just looking at it.

Just where was he?

A soft female sound caught his attention and his eyes widened in surprise when he saw a head of blue hair running down the back of a female back. There was only one person he knew who had hair like that.

"Botan…?" He whispered in confusion as he saw her and noticed that her body was bare as he was staring at her smooth back. She didn't appear to have an article of clothing on as she was naked a moan escaping her. His hand he noticed was upon and resting on her thigh which he removed

He also realized then as well that he was naked also as both of them had no clothing on only for the thin blanket that was covering over them on the bed.

What? How? Where? When in the hells did all this happen? Those questions were whirling in his mind as he tried to figure out what was going on.

The last thing he knew was being on that pointless mission and wondering why he had to go along for it. After getting the last of the artifacts which included a strange glowing orb, the last thing he remembered and recalled was seeing the Ferry Girl enter the room, the rest was all a blank.

The pieces slowly began to fall into place for him as he put it all together and what had happened between them. Botan turned over in her sleep and nuzzled against him a content smile on her face as she laid beside him as dread and recognition formed on his face over what exactly the two of them had just done
