The Chronicles of the Cucumbers

Carrie Rhubarb, a brilliant inventor and daughter to Larry and Petunia went missing for many days. Unable to tell where she had gone, Larry went on a search for her. Now after all these months she had returned from the streets. Why was she gone so long? Will she stay with her family this time? And most importantly to Carrie. Would they ever forgive her?

1. Prologue 1

It is the year 2017, 2 years after the veggies left Big Idea.

It had been a hard road full of buyouts, threats of ending and robots. The story starts 1 month after Dreamworks had "shut down" Big Idea. So where are all of the vegetables now? Well let's start with the main cast. Bob, had gone ahead and worked for a new christian entertainment company, JellyFish Labs and was the guy who helped prepare others for the jobs they had(particularly helping creative professionals) The guys he trained helped Phil Vishcer(Bob's hero) run it's main site, JellyTelly.

Larry had a different life. He had married his college sweetheart, Petunia Rhubarb, all the way back after the filming of "Duke and the Great Pie War" and now had three kids...sort of, we'll get to that in the next chapter. He worked at Mr. Nezzer's Food Factory(turned out he actually runs that place) while Petunia would go on to be a news reporter. Larry also had a somewhat part-time job as Larry-Boy. It didn't happen too often that the town would need him, but often enough that he was around. He kept his identity a secret, except of course to his family and Bob and some of the other Veggies.

Junior, Laura and the rest of the kids would become full time students and help run the drama club at their school. Junior in particular, would go on to major in aerospace at eight years old. His parents also still worked normal jobs(his dad a manager of an office and his mom an intern at said office.)

Jimmy and Jerry had also been hired by Mr. Nezzer as chefs(after their diner had fallen apart) and lived as roommates. Archibald Asparagus had gone on to be Efficiency Professor at the Veggie University of Moose Lake and raised a family of three with his wife, Lovey. Pa grape had tried but failed to invent the pneumatic toothbrush(although he learned a lot about clean teeth) and eventually went on to retire with his wife and still young kids. Mr. Lunt had worked a bit for Mr. Nezzer, but eventually succeeded at his dream job, to be the president of Moose Lodge 1407. He also lived happily and had a girlfriend, Lynda. Madame Blueberry had gone on to be a fashion designer and model stylist and became one of the top modelists in VeggieTown. Scooter had taken a job as a police officer and the French Peas were studying to teach French. Everyone still kept in touch with one another(for example Junior being friends with Larry's son or Bob and Larry still having a close friendship.)

So that's everyone's backstory…...well almost everyone. We still have Larry's kids which as you have probably read the title by now, this story is about them as much as Larry and Petunia. So in the next part of the prologue, I'll talk a bit about them as they are about to have one of the craziest experiences ever imaginable.
