AN: Yay it's one month since I updated this fanfic XDDD. And I'm so glad that I get ideas for more chapters, I just don't know yet how to write it right, and I don't know when I'll be able to update this, but I'll try my best. Wish me luck mehehehe.

False/True Love 8: Deep in Thought

After Raku and Ondera's friends left them alone together, again, they have no other choice but to accompany each other. And just to confirm about Chitoge's favor with Onodera, Raku asked her if she can tutor him and she agreed, so they decided to go in a fast food restaurant for their review session and for them to have some snacks.

Walking along the way to the fast food restaurant, both Raku and Onodera are in silent while both are having their own thoughts. Onodera's thought is being happy that she is with Raku again, alone. While on the other side, Raku is in a deep thought, and whatever in his thought, there's no way that Onodera can guess it. But one thing is for sure, he's having a serious thinking in his thoughts. And those thoughts made him forget that he is with Onodera.

"Ichijou-kun." Onodera called him behind his back. And the moment he heard her voice, he stop walking and awkwardly laugh when he face Onodera.

"Oh w-we're here." He stated when he realizes that Onodera stop walking and is already standing in front of the fast food restaurant while he is about to passed by the restaurant. Onodera just laugh at him as she watch him started walking towards her then he apologizes before asking her to go inside.

When they are inside the fast food restaurant, Raku offered Onodera that he will take care of ordering their foods, so Onodera told him what she wants while Raku is nodding his head, absorbing what she is saying before she left him to look for their sits. Onodera found a free table near the window, when she took a sit, her mind already had a thought: I wonder what Ichijou-kun is thinking.

Meanwhile, Raku is still on the line waiting for his turn to order. And while waiting, his mind drifted again in his deep thoughts. Thoughts full of Chitoge. Moving forward on the line, his thoughts about Chitoge's action, getting weird for him, is moving too.

He doesn't know why, but somehow, he get a feeling like Chitoge is scheming something. He just don't know what it is and for what. But basing on what happened last week, and maybe still going on, it seems like she is making a way and excuses for him and for Onodera to be alone together. If what he's thinking is right, why is she doing it? Does she know that he ultimately likes Onodera? Is she helping him? He really don't know if she's doing it on purpose or not, because whenever she makes an excuses, she also always have the proof to prove that it's not just an excuse to let him be with Onodera. And he can also see that nothing change in Chitoge, though he can't shake away the idea that Chitoge is really giving him a time to be with Onodera. It's weird but somehow he doesn't like those thoughts of him. And that is irritating me.

He's even having a feeling like Chitoge is distancing herself by doing that. And he doesn't like that idea either, but why? Is it because it's been a week since they've been together, alone? It should doesn't matter to him. No, it does matter because of our family set up. Speaking of those guys, especially that so-overprotective-megane-bodyguard of Chitoge, it's been awhile since I encountered him. Does he not doubting our suppose-to-be real relationship now?

That aside, why is he so bothered not being with her anyway? He should be happy because he can be with Onodera without getting scared just by the thoughts of Claude caught him with her and pointing a gun on him and accusing him being a two-time what-so-ever. But why can't he feel the feeling of happiness being with her just like before? No. May be I still have those feelings; I can't just express it because of getting worried of Chitoge's actions. Or maybe, he just really get used that most of his time, he is with Chitoge.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Raku scream in frustration while ruffling his own hair, his mind is spinning around with questions and confusing thoughts, because of his scream he gets the attention of the people around him, looking at him like he is a freak.

"Uh… is there a problem sir?" The girl in the counter asked. The girl in front of her just finished ordering her foods and he is the next one to get his order.

"Ah…" Raku awkwardly give the girl in the counter a small laugh, "S-Sorry, it's n-nothing." He apologizes before he recites their orders. After getting what he ordered, he looks for Onodera and saw her in a table beside the glass. He stops for a while to watch the girl he likes since middle school. Then Onodera getting the feeling that someone is staring at her, she look around and saw Raku, she gave him a smile and wave at him like she is telling him that they are going to sit where she is sitting. Looking at her adorable action, Raku return the smile she gave to him and thought, Onodera really is cute and beautiful.

But for unknown reason, Chitoge's happy and excited face flashed in his mind. That it feels like a de javu. That's right. It also happens before in the Romeo and Juliet role play, where Onodera wear the costume then that girl flashed in his mind thinking, what it would be like if she is the one wearing that costume. And now that it happened again, he is now thinking that, this gorilla is way too excited for nothing. Geez, for pete's sake, Onodera is the one with him, even though it really is suppose to be her, why does she have to appear in his mind every time he is suppose to be enjoying his time alone with his one and only, Onodera.

That gorilla is invading my mind way too much. This is not the right time for invasion. I need to focus. I have to, for me to be able to understand the lessons I need for our exam, and for not to waste Onodera's time just to tutor me. Raku told himself while shaking off his head to get rid of thinking too much about Chitoge, before he continued walking towards Onodera's table.

I think something is really bothering Ichijou-kun. Onodera thought when she saw Raku's actions. She wants to asked him but she doesn't know how without being sounds like she's troubling his own business.

"Sorry for making you wait." Raku said when he seated himself next to Onodera. He is actually about to sit in front of Onodera, but though she is being shy, she said to him to sit beside her since they are going to study the lessons he needed.

"It's fine Ichijou-kun. So… should we eat first or start reviewing?" Onodera asked as she looks beside her to face Raku. And seeing her face just inch away from him makes his face flush a scarlet color.

"L-Let's eats first." Raku said stammering, look away and thought; at least she can still make me blush by seeing her beautiful face and smile.

So they started eating their snacks first and after they finished it they started they review session. And while reviewing, there are times that Onodera noticed that Raku's mind is not in what they are studying. There is also times that she have to explain the lesson twice because Raku didn't listen the first time she explain it. Something is really bothering Raku and it's getting in his way of studying, and that really bothered Onodera now, too. So she gathered her courage to asked Raku.

"Ichijou-kun is there something bothering you?" Onodera anxiously asked.

It made Raku stop reading his books that he can't understand because his mind is now thinking what is happening in her fake relationship with Chitoge. It's like for him, something's going on, and he really doesn't know what it is. Earlier he was just thinking about Chitoge giving him a time with Onodera. And going back with his thoughts, it bothered him now when he realized that Claude really is not into action of spying him and Chitoge. It doesn't look like he's not around because he remembered seeing him just two day ago. So why in the hell he's life feels like the same way when he is not in a fake relationship with Chitoge. That reminds him, those guys in his house is also not asking him anymore how's his day with Chitoge or when will they date again and so. Is it because this is our last year acting as fake lovers? This really is confusing. I didn't notice the changes with those guys and the gang.

"Oh! It's nothing, really." He lied, not wanting to give more trouble to Onodera, and thought; it's not something, it's someone, a gorilla.

"Are you sure? Y-You look so troubled, I'm getting w-worried. You can't focus in your study if your mind is full of thoughts, I can lend you my ears to listen in your problems. You know you can tell me what it is to ease your mind." Onodera offered and there's a sound of worry in her voice. And of course she is also nervous.

Raku thought if he can tell her his thoughts, he actually wanted to tell her, but when he remembered that she is also in his thoughts, his mind change. Also, if he told her his thoughts, she might get the wrong idea why he is thinking way too much about Chitoge and their fake relationship. A relationship that he doesn't really want and he should care less. This is all Chitoge's fault, though I don't know what she done.

"I'm really sorry Onodera, but don't worry, I'm fine." He apologize and scratch his right cheeks before he continued, "I'm sorry if I'm troubling you and wasting your time teaching me. But will you continue teaching me? If it's okay with you…"

Waiting for her answer, Raku remind himself: I really need to first focus in my study now. I can think over that gorilla again later.

"If you say so… then let's start again." Onodera respond. She doesn't want to push Raku to tell her what his problem and she understand it. If he ever changes his mind and is ready to tell her what his problem is, she will always be there to listen to him and make him feel at ease.

And with that, Raku manages to focus and absorb everything Onodera taught to her. Thankfully Onodera is really kind enough for him to help him. After she finished teaching him all she knows and what he needed for their exams, they started cleaning up their things and leave the fast food restaurant to go home. Raku thanked Onodera with all his heart and wave at her good bye when she walks her home.

And when he arrives at his house, the first person who is now facing him in the front door made his thoughts fade away and a smile form in his lips before him utter her name, "Chitoge."

"Okaeri, darling!" Chitoge greeted with smile in her face. A smile that looks so happy… but why?
