Kate smiled.

"Nice to meet you." said Kate.

"You too." said Lana. Kate looked at Professor Kukui as he was talking about Z-Moves.

"Z-Moves are special moves passed down in the Alola region." said Professor Kukui. "Alola consists of four islands, and each of them has its own guardian Pokemon. Only those who participate in a ceremony called the island challenge are able to use Z-Moves."

"Island guardians...island challenge...and Z-moves, too!" said Ash and Kate.

"Now that was a real Mega Punch level battle!" said Professor Kukui. "Say, Ash and Kate, you seem to enjoy a good battle."

"Yeah! I wanna be a Pokemon Master!" said Ash.

"And I want to help Pokemon and get to know them." said Kate.

"Oh, I see..." said Professor Kukui. Then something hit Ash and Kate's heads. They looked up and saw a Pokemon fly away.

"Who's that Pokemon?" asked Ash.

"Pokemon?" asked the boy with orange hair.

"But where?" asked Lana.

"I don't see anything." said the girl with green hair.

"It was just there!" said Kate. "It was a Pokemon for sure!"

"It was yellow..." said Ash. "About this big with an orange crest on it's head!"

"That sounds like..." said Professor Kukui.

"Tapu Koko." said Kiawe.

"You saw Tapu Koko? Guardian of Melemele Island?" asked Lillie.

"Wow, guardian?" asked Ash.

"That's what that was?" asked Kate. 3 hours later, Kate, Ash and Delia were eating.

"This is so good!" said Delia. Ash and Kate eating their food. They were thinking what happened to them. "Anything interesting happen today?"

"Uh?" asked Ash and Kate.

"You seen a little bit distracted this evening." said Delia. Kate and Ash. smiled. Then, they heard something.

"Yep, there it is." said Kate. They followed the voice.

"Where are you going?" asked Delia. Pikachu followed them, "Pikachu?"

"Where is it?" asked Kate. Then, Tapu Koko was there.

"There it is." said Ash. They followed it. They stopped and saw the Pokemon.

"The Spirit Guardian." said Kate. "That's Tapu Koko?"

"Yeah." said Ash. "Why do you keep coming to us? Is there something you wanna tell us?"

"Wow." said Kate. Then, it was holding two rings and give them to Ash and Kate. "What's that?"

"That looks like what Kiawe was wearing." said Ash. They looked at the Pokemon and it looks like it wants them to have them. They nodded. They grabbed them. They put them on. Tapu Koko went off.

"Hey!" said Kate and Ash. It was gone.

"Professor Kukui's house is awesome!" said Ash. "Know what? There's a training room in the basement!"

"That's great! I love seeing you, Kate and Pikachu having a good time.." said Delia.

"And thanks, Mom." said Ash. "When I said I and Kate wanted to stay on the island, you said fine right off the bat."

"Yeah!" said Kate.

"Of course I did. I am your mother...So I had a feeling you might ask me that." said Delia. "I was right. Just take care of kate okay?"

"Right." said Ash.

"Ash?" asked Kate. "Did you forget something?"

"We gotta to go! We start Pokemon School today" said Ash.

"Have a great time! Be careful!" said Delia.

"We will." said Kate. they run of to the Pokemon School.

"I'll race you there Kate and Pikachu!" said Ash.

"You're on." said Kate as she went ahead with Pikachu.

"Hey wait!" said Ash.
