Onto the manga, haha yeah that "Don't be stupid" line of Raku, as if he's telling he won't date Onodera... but not anymore only not yet. Even so, he still look not happy about the news of Chitoge going back to America. Haha
And your comment about the chapter, one of the readers in wattpad also thought the confession is Raku confessing to Chitoge and vice versa. Guess no one really assumed that Onodera is the one confessing haha. Anyways, I hope this chapter will make you happy ^_^

False/True Love 20: The Reason

After Raku dragging Chitoge outside the house everyone left clueless of what exactly happened. Are they really clueless? Because if they think thoroughly, everyone have their own thoughts running in their mind why that occured; why Raku acted that way... after seeing them especially Chitoge. And among them, Onodera was the most in the verge of dying of pain of her own thoughts. And without even telling any single word about it, Ruri already knew what happened to her best friend. She knew that she already did confess to him and it didn't go well. Is she really too late? Would she get mad because of Chitoge? Because even though Ruri felt like Chitoge were helping Onodera and Raku to be together last year, it was almost like it didn't help anything at all at seemed to only make Raku realised his true feelings at relation with Chitoge. Should she get mad? Because in reality, Chitoge didn't do anything wrong and actually forget her own feelings; though Ruri doesn't know her true feelings. And knowing she actually tried to help them should make them thanked her for it becuase it gave Onodera a chance to conveyed her feelings. Although Ruri knew that it's painful in Onodera's part. Even though she still doesn't know what happened, it's almost like she have a feeling that he already rejected her.
Meanwhile, outside, Raku dragging Chitoge ended up resting in the park; the park where they gone to before on their first date where Raku also pulled Chitoge because of the delinquents trying to hit on her. The park where Raku almost felt like her world is going round because of Onodera suddenly showed up and Chitoge without a choice acted as his girlfriend in front of her. That brief moment of memory made Raku laughed in his mind. He didn't imagine that now, everything turned upside down. That having mental block and didn't know what to do in front of Onodera, he wondered why it didn't happened earlier when Chitoge saw them hugging; may be because he doesn't really want her to have a wrong idea about it. He doesn't want her to think that there was something about them. He doesn't want her to think, he likes her...
"Hoy beansprout what do you think you're doing pulling me here in the park?" Chitoge asked in disbelief with her back facing Raku while he is breathlessly sitting on the bench, just like before.
"H-Huh? That is..." Raku doesn't know what to say. Why did he pull her; when he could just let go of the hug with Onodera without pulling her away outside the house. Maybe he got really irritated seeing her smiling mockingly at him, or maybe because of a deeper reason, "A-Actually, there's s-something I want to tell you..."
"If you just want to tell something, you don't have to pull me here. Then, what is that something?" Chitoge turn around to face Raku wondering. Facing her makes Raku blush in instant with the imagination of hearing the words he wanted to hear from her. He is also getting nervous of what he is going to do because he didn't actually plan this. It just occurred in his mind because he doesn't have a good reason why he pulled her earlier. But will he really confront her now about it? Tell her... what he found out?
Raku calmed himself down first and look straight into Chitoge's eyes while thinking thoroughly. He knows and what he can see in Chitoge's eyes that she won't still admit that what he found out is true; but wanted to tell her that he already knew the reason. He wanted her to be aware that there's no more way for her to hide it to him. Though that is her reason to them, he knows that she has her own reason why she ended up everything with that reason.
"Chitoge... I already found out... I already knew what your reason why... everything ended." Raku start with determination and Chitoge's eyes widened. He thought that if he won't do it now, it will only waste the chance for them to fix everything.
"W-W-W-What are saying?" Chitoge stuttered. She is getting nervous and uneasy; thinking if Raku is telling the truth of founding out it. What if he is just bluffing to caught her. No. He won't let him. "W-What are we talking about again?"
"About how you made everyone agreed to hide the truth reason to me." It's really now or never. Raku maybe is indeed nervous but it will not overtake his determination to make her say those words to him.
"The t-truth reason? Why can't you get over it? How many times do you want me to tell that the reason is because everything is al..." Chitoge didn't manage to continue when Raku cut off her.
"That excuse again. Not that. What I found out is much deeper than that lame excuse of yours. I won't buy it, never." Raku reminded her and continue, "Now tell me, is what I found out the truth? Do I have to spell it out to you? Because you know yourself what I'm talking about." That reason of Chitoge that made Raku apologized to Onodera earlier when she confessed. That reason that almost like more important than anything.
"But beside the reason I'm always telling you, I don't have anymore." Chitoge is now really anxious. She felt like her chest is about to explode in too much beating. She doesn't know what to do; how to act; and even breath in front of him. She felt so mad. Frankly speaking, if Raku really did know the truth, Chitoge certainly know it very well than anyone.
"Do you really want to hear what I found out from me first? I even badly wanted to hear it coming from you."Raku whispered the last sentence then continue, "And I even know that the reason is too personal for you... why does it have to be your reason?" Suddenly Raku felt sad and averted his gaze, "When I heard that is your reason I suddenly felt like wanting to hear it from you... to hear that your reason is be..."
This time around, Chitoge now cut him off by covering his mouth with her hand; looking down, Chitoge felt like crying because of madness and anxiousness. How did he found out? She doesn't want to believe that he really knew her reason. There's no way he found it. She tried her very best to hide and never let him have any idea what her reason. She did everything just to act okay in front of him to make sure he won't found out. But it seems like with just one snap everything got expose without her knowing. And who the hell told him the truth? Whoever that person is, she is surely going to beat that person to dead.
"L-Let's go back to O-Onodera's house. F-For sure they are already w-wondering where we gone to." Chitoge's voice cracked. She's trying to stop herself to cry. She removed her hand that covering Raku's mouth and turn her back at him then started walking away.
Sensing that Chitoge is trying to hide herself crying, Raku didn't move from where he is and just watched Chitoge walking away and continued what he was saying a minute ago to himself, "that your reason is because you like me."
Raku bitterly smiled and place his hand in his heart after letting go those words. He is sure that Chitoge acted that way because he's right, what he found is the truth. But why it felt so painful not hearing it from her lips? Why does he badly like to hear it from Chitoge... than from Onodera? What can be a reason about it than liking her? He likes her. Their feelings are mutual. Raku finally admitted, he likes Kirisaki Chitoge not as a friend, but a woman.
Chitoge didn't mind anymore if Raku was following her or not. What she wanted is to get away from him and to be everyone. She doesn't want to be alone with him, not this time. Besides, her heart still pounding and she still felt anxious and mad thinking who the person who told everything to Raku was. If the reason of her liking him was what he found out, one (1) of the four (4) people was the only possible person who revealed it. Since that four (4) people made another lies reason to other to make everyone agreed on what she wanted to happen. With thoughts running in her mind, Chitoge continued walking going back to Onodera's house and then remembered the day she approached her Dad about that plan of her. That happened when she was about to tutor Raku in English but choose to go home early to talk to Ardelt.
'Chitoge-chan you're early today.' Ardelt noted when Chitoge entered his office.
'T-There's something I want to t-tell you Dad.' Chitoge said, a bit hesitant because her father might tease her.
Adelt stand from sitting in his swivel chair and sat down in the sofa, he patted the space beside him and called Chitoge, 'Here, sit next to me.'
Chitoge walked towards her father and sit herself beside him. As she sits, Ardelt asked him, 'What is it? Hmm?'
'That is...' Chitoge was still hesitant to continue. She actually felt shy in front of her father and because of her request. But she think about it for a hundred of times and it made her decided to say it, 'Dad I have a wish you have to guarantee no matter what.'
'A wish?' Ardelt face Chitoge and she kept herself looking at him back.
'I want you... to make it possible... to talk to Raku's father about ending our fake relationship.' Chitoge said with a tone of pleading in her voice. Hearing it from Chitoge surprised Ardelt a bit especially seeing her with serious face. He even felt like she refused to accept if he objects about it. Ardelt sadly smile when he noticed loneliness in Chitoge's eyes.
'Since the first day you two started acting fake lover, this is the first time I heard it again after that. Did something happen that made you want it to end now? Is it only you who wanted it or Raku wanted it too?' He first asked Chitoge who smiled at him, a smile that doesn't look sad but for sure is a force smile to look happy.
'Nope! Raku doesn't know this. I only want it. There are only few months to complete 3 years before ending it and before we leave, I wanted to enjoy those remaining months without worrying myself if those guys are watching us or not. And I already told the truth to Tsugumi about out fake relationship...' Ardelt cut her off asking why she let her know and how, then she explained, 'I accidentally slipped my tongue when... Ah~ more importantly, you'll do it right? That will be your Christmas gift for me. Please dad.'
'Is that the only reason; to enjoy the remaining months staying here?' Ardelt asked with a smile in his lips; a smile that showing without her telling the real reason, he can guess what it is.
'Dad I know... you already guess the real reason. So please, do it for me. Talk to his father and everyone. I'll you to convince everyone, especially Claude and Ryuu, to just get along from now on and to make them help us too to convince all of the members of both sides since they stand as their second in command. Please!' Chitoge really was doing her best to plead.
'What if he also likes you?' He continued to ask. He really did know the real reason.
'Dad~ will you do it or will you do it?' Chitoge pouted. Thinking that maybe Chitoge is having a hard time about it and doesn't want make her feel more sad about it, he nodded his head; even though he knew that her own decision will make her more sad. Can't she at least confess it first to Raku before deciding everything on her own, is what on Ardelt mind. But whatever the reason behind it, he knew he will know it. Well, he actually also have a guess why she doesn't want to confess.
'You really leave me no choice.' He told her and Chitoge gave her a hug. He just agreed to do it because he wanted to consider his daugther's feelings. The first person they talk about it is Claude and told him everything, the truth about the fake relationship and the reason why she revealed it to him. And Chitoge also asked Claude to talk yo everyone about the fake relationship and asked them to just get along to the Yakuza just for her sake. After clearing everything in their Gang they went to Raku's house and talked the same thing to Raku's father and Ryuu. Then Chitoge and Ryuu left Ardelt and Raku's father.
'What do you think?' Ardelt asked.
'I don't know. It's not that easy to guess. We'll know once the day comes when Chitoge told it to him in front of everyone.' Raku's father answered.
Until the day finally come and Chitoge announce the ending of their relationship in front of everyone.
"Who among the four of them is the reason why Raku found the truth?"Chitoge asked herself without her realizing that she is already near Onodera's house and was about to hit herself in the door. Luckily, someone opened the door then speaks and that's when she gets back to reality.
"Kirisaki-san, where's Raku? Where did you two go?" Shu questioned.
"Somewhere near. I don't know what's wrong in his head pulling someone." Chitoge reasoned out without knowing that Raku was already standing behind her.
"Excuse me," Raku intended to say in loud voice and then whispered to Chitoge from behind, "honey!"
Upon hearing that endearment made Chitoge's face heat and started arguing with Raku. It's very out of character to Raku to tease her but he just felt like teasing her because he felt irritated at her; but then stopped the moment Onodera and Ruri walk out from the kitchen together. Raku tried to avert his eyes when he met Onodera's eyes. He almost forgot, he still has to give Onodera his answer to her confession.
He can't still believe that the confession happened. If that happened before, their feelings are definitely mutual. But not now, because he already admitted that he likes someone else and that someone is... Chitoge. Now that he admitted it, he needs his next move; his next plan.
