"...And then she just left, just like that,"
Lloyd Garmadon was in Laughy's Bar, blabbering away to Dareth, his 'therapist'. Why?
Because Lloyd was drunk. Very drunk.
"It was like when I dropped my PB&J sandwich in kindergarten," he slurred, leaning his head on the counter, "Man, I want a PB&J sandwich now!"
"Uh..." Picking up his phone, Dareth rung for help.
"Whaddya need?"
"Hey, Ronin. You remember Lloyd, right?"
"...Yeah, why?"
"He's wasted. Can you come pick him up?"
"...Gah! Fine!"
Minutes later, a maroon car was outside and a man with neck-length brown hair entered the bar. He spotted the drunk teen and the concerned man and headed towards them.
"Thanks, Dareth, I'll take him home,"
He slung Lloyd's arm around his neck and helped him to the car.
"Rooooniiiinnn!" Lloyd giggled. Rolling his eyes, Ronin scrolled through his contacts.
"Jay."
"Ronin."
"I need your help,"
"What's up?"
"Nya's not gonna be home for a while, can you take Lloyd? He's very drunk, and probably shouldn't be alone at the minute,"
"Uhh...I kinda have an essay to finish..."
"Jay..."
"Alright, fine! Come to Room 223!"
"Thanks, Jay!"
"Roooooonnniiiiiinnnnnn," Ronin looked over to the wasted Lloyd, who was fidgeting with the car door handle. Quickly, he switched the child-lock on, to prevent him from tumbling out.
At long last, he arrived at the campus dorm building. Grabbing Lloyd, he headed inside, and up some flight of stairs, until he arrived at Room 223. Sighing, he knocked on the door.
"Just a second!" was heard from the other side of the door.
"Jay, I don't have all night!"
"Hold on!" the door opened, revealing Jay. He raised an eyebrow when he saw his blonde friend.
"How drunk?" he asked
"Very. Wouldn't stop blabbering. Can't be worse than your girlfriend though,"
"Hey!" Jay protested.
"Dude! She calls me 'Ro-ro' when she's drunk, and disco dances in the middle of the street!"
Jay sighed, "I know, I love her!"
"Are you taking him or what?"
Jay snapped back into reality, "Oh yep, sure!" Grabbing Lloyd, he pulled him into his room, "I'll call Nya!" he called over his shoulder before slamming the door shut.
Dragging his friend to Cole's bed, Jay sat him down, before going back to his essay.
"Jaaaaaayyyy!"
"Yes, Lloyd?" Jay was trying so hard not to throw him out of the room.
"You're so fuuuuunnnnyyyy!"
"Thanks?"
"Callie broke up with meeeeeeee...,"
"Really?"
"Yup. She left me, dumped me, just like how I dumped my PB&J sandwich. Do you have any PB&J sandwiches..."
Lloyd babbled on as Jay picked up his phone.
"Nya?"
"Hey, Sparky!"
"So...I have your roommate here...and he's drunk. How far are you from home?"
"Shoot, I'll be there as soon as possible. Kai just pulled up in the car park."
"Thanks babe, is there anyway to...shut him up? I have an essay..."
"Yeah, he has a pressure point on the back of his neck."
"Got it! Talk to you later!"
"Love ya Sparky!"
"Love you too, Kitten,"
He cut the call and looked over at Lloyd, "Now, Lloyd, goodnight!"
"But I want my PB&J! You're...so...mean..." Lloyd's voice started trailing off as his eyelids grew heavy. Jay had pressed on the back of his neck, and the nifty trick worked! Lloyd was out cold!
Ah, peace and quiet! Jay thought, getting back to work. Several minutes later, there was a knock on his door. He figured it was Cole, and that he'd forgotten his keys...again.
But it was Nya.
She smiled, "Hey, Sparky!"
"Hey!" He bent down to peck her lips and pulled her into his dorm, "He's just over there..."
"Okay, I got it from here. You get that essay finished,"
"Gotcha. Night, Kitten,"
"Goodnight, Jay-Jay!"
Nya dragged Lloyd out of the room, and down the corridor. It was a lot harder than she thought. Her eyes scanned the area, before spotting the lift. Grinning, she dragged Lloyd along, his feet scraping along the carpet. Her smile faded when she saw the Out of Order sign placed on the door.
"Stairs it is!"
As she was about to ascend, a figure came down the stairs. It was Morro!
"Uh, Nya? Mind telling me why you're dragging my cousin's body across the hallway as if he's dead?"
"Oh! Uh...he got drunk, and Ronin dropped him off at Jay's room and I'm just picking him up."
Morro raised an eyebrow, "Need any help?"
"Oh hell yes!"
Morro hoisted Lloyd up and threw him over his shoulder, and made his way up the stairs, Nya following behind.
"What room are you in again?" He asked.
"Room 318,"
"Got it!" They stopped outside Room 318, and Nya unlocked the door, "I got it from here, thanks, Morro!"
"Sure!" He dumped his unconscious cousin on the floor and made his way back downstairs. Nya grabbed her roommates arms and dragged him into the room, shutting the door behind him. She used all her strength and hurled him onto his bed. From there she proceeded to take his shoes and socks off and chuck them beside the door.
She couldn't be bothered to drag his ass to the bathroom and brush his teeth, so she tucked the covers over him. "You are so dead when you wake up!" she mumbled, as she got into her pyjamas. After brushing her own teeth, she switched off the lamp and got in her own bed, and slipped into her world of dreams.
"What the..." Lloyd clutched his head in pain as he slowly sat up. Why did his head hurt so much?
All of yesterday's events came rushing back, and Lloyd groaned as he checked his phone:
Saturday, 10:30.
He shuffled over to the other side of the dorm room, where Nya was typing away at her laptop. Lloyd then proceeded to face-plant onto her bed, "I'm never drinking again," he mumbled.
"Morning to you too," Nya chuckled, before spinning around to face her roommate. Lloyd sat up, rubbing his eyes. "Everything huuuurts!"
Rolling her eyes, Nya gestured to the coffee machine, "There's an espresso and a Paracetamol waiting for you. Get it while it's hot!"
"Oh, you are the best!" Lloyd rushed over to the coffee machine. He swallowed the pill and downed it with some espresso, before going back to Nya. He wrapped an arm around her and buried his chin in the crook of her neck, "Thank youuu!" He went and sat on her bed, drinking the espresso. Nya switched off her laptop and joined him on the bed, "You gonna tell me why you decided to go out drinking without asking anyone for a ride home?"
Lloyd sighed, "Callie dumped me,"
"Seriously? Why?"
"Dunno,"
"Then she is not good enough for you,"
"That's what you said about Harumi...and Kesley...and Derek...and Martin..."
"Yeah. They all either dumped you or cheated on you,"
"Am I just...not dateable?"
Nya hugged her hungover roommate, "Of course you're dateable! You just have very bad taste!"
Lloyd scoffed, "Wow! You are so supportive!"
"I know, right!" Nya grinned, "Now, take a shower! You smell like a week-old gym clothes!"
"Hey!"
"I'm just saying!"
Ditching the cup on Nya's bedside table, Lloyd made his way to the bathroom.
"So...how did I manage to end up here in one piece?" he asked.
"Oh...it's a long story..."
