After long day of playing around in the forest, Theodore and Simon were sleeping peacefully except Alvin. He was sitting down sniffling quietly in the corner of the hollow tree, tears streamed down his furry face.
Why did they leave us? Alvin thought. He got up and tip toed to the entrance of the hollow tree.
He looked at the sky, stars twinkled. Alvin sighed sadly.
"Wht did you leave us?" Alvin asked, knowing that his parents wouldn't hear him he sighed again.
Alvin opened his mouth and softly began to sing.
How could you leave us so unexpectedly?
We were waiting, we were waiting,
For you but you just left us,
We needed you, I needed you...
Alvin then broke down crying, his cries were getting a little louder, "Why? Why did they leave us?!"
Alvin felt two paws on both his shoulders, he turned his head and saw his younger brothers Theodore and Simon who had concerned looks their faces.
"Alvin what's wrong?" asked a worried Theodore, even though Alvin was the oldest of the trio, Theodore always looked out for Alvin, even though Alvin was the troublemaker of the group, he cared for Akvin's health and we'll being.
"What's troubling you?" asked a very concerned Simon, Simon was very close in age with Alvin, even though his vison was a little blurry, he could see Alvin's sad face.
Alvin gulped and replied, "Why did mom and dad leave us?" He asked himself.
"You told us Alvin." Simon said with a sigh. "They...they left early to join a commun."
Alvin started to tear up a bit.
"But why? Did they not love us? Was it my fault they left?" Alvin felt guilty after saying that, even though his parents were hippies and joins a commune, he felt that it was his fault that their parents left.
"It's not your fault Alvin. And of course they loved us. It was just their choice to leave us, even though our parents aren't here with us right now, they still love us." Simon turned his head and looked over at Alvin who now had tears in his eyes.
"I'm sorry bros. Our parents left because of me. " Alvin said, in a whisper. "It's my fault they left because I drove them crazy with my stupid pranks and not being able to listen." Alvin started to break down.
Why couldn't I just be a good son? I'm such a dissapointed. Alvin thought. Alvin suddenly felt very angry and sad with himself, he was supposed to be the cool one who's not afraid of anything, but tonight he was now crying in front of his own brothers, he was supposed to protect them and keep them safe.
Simon must've new what his brother was thinking and pulled him into a tight brother hug which Alvin returned.
Theodore ran over to his brothers and hugged them, "Alvin we love you and it's not your fault that they left."
"That's right. It's not your fault Alvin, and your not a dissapointed. You sacrifice everything for us but now it's time Theodore and I do something for you." Simon said as he released Alvin from the hug.
"And what would that be?" Alvin asked, crossing his arms.
"Just sit back and watch." Simon said.
Alvin wiped his tears and sat down as Simon and Theodore went into the middle of the hollow tree.
Simon opened his mouth and began to
Sometimes in our lives we all have pain,
we all have sorrow, but if we are wise,

Simon and Theodore stepped forward and sang the second verse in harmony.

Theodore stepped forward and took over as the lead singer.

Theodore stepped to his original position and Simon stepped forward and began to sing again.
If there's a loaf you have to bear,
that you can't carry,

Simon and Theodore went over to Alvin and have him a hug ad they began to sing the last verse together.

Simon and Theodore ended the song by giving Alvin a warm smile.
"Thanks guys." Alvin said as he wrapped each arm around his brothers pulling them into a friendly brother hug. "For making me feel better and I promise that we will find our parents one day."
"But now for the mean time we should get some sleep." Simob said.
Theodore yawned, "Goodnight guys." he said as he snuggled closer to Alvin.
"Goodnight Theo." Simon said."Goodnight Alvin. Alvin?"
Alvin looked at Simon, "I'm gonna stay up for a bit."
"Suit yourself." Simon said as he closed his eyes and layed down.
I'll find our parents for Simon and Theodore's sake, and nothing will stand in my way. Alvin thought before he drifted off to sleep.
