It my had been a few minutes since the boys had set out to find their parents and Theodore was already getting exhausted.

Are we there yet?" Theodore asked, he was dragging his feet on the ground. "Alvin, are we there yet?"

"We'll be there in a few more minutes." Alvin said not taking his eyes off his surroundings.

"Alvin can you tell us a little bit about Digger?" Simon asked.

"Yeah. Digger and I met before you and Theodore were born, we used to be like brothers to each other until we stopped talking." Alvin said. He sighed sadly.

"We're so sorry to hear that Alvin." Simon said, he looked at Alvin with sympathy.

"Yeah. Me too." Theodore said. "Hey Alvin why did you and Digger stop talking..." Theodore got cut off by Alvin walking towards him and pointed a finger at him, giving him a angry look.

"It was nothing Theodore! So drop it, Let's just focus on getting to the tunnels, alright!"

Theodore whimpered in fear, "S-sorry Alvin it won't happen again..." he said, Alvin now realized what he had did and pulled his little brother into a hug.

"Sorry Theo. I just...have a lot

Alvin released Theodore from the hug, "Come on we're almost there."

In about ten minutes they reached the lake and saw that deer, ducks, and animals alike were drinking from the small lake.

"Digger's here. He usually digs tunnels here to get to the lake easier." Alvin said.

Alvin lead his broths torward a big tree that had a hole next to it. It was big and deep, Alvin looked at his brothers, "Ready?"

"Ready." Both Simin and Theodore said.

Alvin jumped into the hole first, Simon second, and Theodore third, clawing at that the dirt to keep them from falling.

Pieces of dirt feel into Alvin's face. He shook the dirt off.

"Watch the fur Theodore." Alvin warned, he didn't like his fur getting dirty or messed up.

"Sorry Alvin." Theodore said. "So what are we gonna do when we find Digger?" he asked.

"I'll ask him about it when we find him." Alvin said.

"How long til we reach the bottom?" Simon asked.

"I don't know. Probably a few more minutes." Alvin said.

A few minutes lster Alvin, Simo and Theodore reached the bottom of the hole. Theodore looked up and saw how far they were from above ground.

Theodore gulped nervously,"I hope we don't get stuck here."

Theodore looked at Alvin who had a nervous look on his face, "Alvin are you okay?"

Alvin quickly brushed off his nervousness, "Yes! The Alvinator is fine!" He looked at Simon and Theodore,"Guys stick together, it's easy to get lost in here."

Simon and Theodore sticked close to Alvin, especially Theodore, he clunged onto Alvin's paw for dear life.

"I know these tunnels like the back of my paw." Alvin grinned.

"I doubt that." Simon mumbled under his breath.

"What was that?!"

"I said: I DOUBT THAT!"

Alvin letted go of Theodore's paw and went over to argue with Simon, when Theodore his left he saw another tunnel. He turnedt

towards Alvin and Simon who were fighting.

Maybe if I go find Digger myself I can finally prove to Alvin I'm as tough as him. Theodore thought.

Theodore turned towards Alvin and Simon one last time before walking into the tunnel.

"...I know what I am doing and Theodore knows it too, right Theodore?" Alvin called but he didn't get an answer.

"Theodore?" Alvin called again but he still didn't get no answer.

"Simon! Theodore's gone! Help me look for him!"

"Okay."

Alvin and Simon walked through the tunnel calling out, "Theodore! Theodore! Theodore where are you!"

Fifthteen minutes later of walking through the long, spooky tunnel, Theodore was still searching for Digger the Gopher.

"Digger? Exscue me, Mr. Digger, my brothers and I are looking for our parents, so if you can help us I'll be very grateful."

Theodore saw a strange, but small shilluote appear at the end of the tunnel, Theodore immediately brightened up, "Oh! Mr. Digger!" Theodore ran on all fours to get to 'Mr. Digger' but he slipped and fell through a small hole, dirty and debris went into the little chipmunk's eyes and mouth before he landed on his stomach, his dirty brown fur was covered with dirt and debris was in his eyes.

"Alvin? Simon?" Theodore called but he got no answer, "Guys?"

Theodore shakily got up and continued on, hoping to find a way out but he stopped in his frames when he saw three tunnels next to each other.

Three tunnels, which one will lead me back to Alvin and Simon? Theodore thought. He looked left and right before making up his mind and going through the middle one.

This one will help me get back to them. I know

it. Theodore thought.

Will Theodore find his way back to Alvin and Simon? Will the chipmunks ever find Digger? Wait until the next chapter and stay tuned. Also sorry if you guys think this chapter is lame as fuck...
