"teddy, are we ready?" Victoire asked. When she said we, she meant teddy. It was a victoire thing to do. "of course, Vicky." teddy replied, as though it was obvious that he was ready. It wasn't. Teddy was rarely this quick packing.

They got teddy's bags to the car together, and got in. Teddy hopped into the car his grandmother had given him, turned the keys in the engine and wound down the windows. Victoire hopped in the side door.

"Come on. Let's go get our baby cousins." Victoire said. Somehow they had been roped into taking Albus severus and scorpius along too. Their fathers thought they should get away after the mess with Delphini.

Teddy turned the radio up to a volume that would have had the adults wincing, and they got moving. They cruised gently along listening to the music.

"I'm that bad type, Make your mama sad type, Make your girlfriend mad tight, might seduce your dad type, I'm the bad guy, duh" Victoire was singing. Victoire couldn't sing. She had a terrible voice. And yet she sang along to every single song.

Teddy pulled the car over at Harry Potters house. He knew that Albus and Scorpius didn't tend to pack to much. Scorpius normally had a lot of books, but no were near as much as teddy. Teddy always took random stuff. Like 3 pairs of shoes, a locked diary, two bottles of perfume and a snow globe. Why he needed all that, Victoire wasn't sure. Teddy wasn't sure either.

Victoire hopped out the car, and knocked on the door. Scorpius had been staying over at Albus's. Teddy wondered if Harry knew the truth would he mind. Harry didn't know the truth. The truth was that Albus and Scorpius were dating. Most of the Weasleys knew, the children at least. And Draco knew. But Albus wasn't quite ready to tell Harry.

"hi Harry" Victoire said. "are those two snakes ready?" she asked playfully. Neither her nor Teddy cared that they were slytherins. Of course, teddy hardly could, andromeda, his grandmother and the woman who raised him like a son had been a slytherin.

"somewhere. They're probably pigging out in the sweets I gave them. Don't tell ginny, though, I wasn't supposed to." harry said with a grin. "scorpius! Albus!" he called. The two boys came running downstairs.

"bye dad" Albus yelled, throwing his bag into the car. He jumped in the back. Scorpius placed his bag much more carefully in the back, on top of teddy's 2nd bag, and slipped in next to Albus. Victoire hopped back in, kicked her shoes off and lent back.

The car journey to Dover was kind of boring. And dover it's self was... Plain. Dover castle stood tall and prowd on the cliffs, a sighn of better times. They drove down the street. "there used to be an anti brexit painting done by Banksy there" scorpius said.

"why isn't it there now?" Albus asked, posting a selfie on Instagram. "why do you even have a phone?" Teddy asked. "why not? It's magical, not like a regular muggle phone." teddy smirked. "fine. Whatever. My father wasn't the savior of the Wizarding world, I guess he never would have brought me one. But yours is so..." teddy sounded sad talking about his father.

"at least your dad fought for the right side." Scorpius said. "yes. But still far too many people accuse him of being a monster." Scorpius scowled. "well at least those claims are baseless and unfounded." "sure. But Scorpius, your father was a child. He did the best he could."

They pulled into the docks and went through passport control.
