Simon and Theodore hugged their mother more tight as she cried, she couldn't still shake off what she did. Simon and Theodore released their mother from the hug and looked at their mother with sympathy.

"Mom it's okay, it's okay." he said softly.

"Yeah mom." Theodore said in the same time as Simon. "It's alright."

Vinny looked at her two sons, "No it's not okay I lied about joining a commune! I abandoned you guys! I didn't even tell you about your father!" she screamed as tears streamed down her face. "You guys should not forgive me for what I did!"

"That's true; we don't forgive you for lying to us and abandoning us, but we do for not telling us about our dad." Theodore said. Simon nodded.

"We were too young to know." he said. Hearing that, Vinny looked down.

"But Alvin...he was old enough to understand, he would've took your father's death really hard and he would never talk to me again." she said with sadness in her voice, "He would never forgive me..." That earned Simon to walk over to his mother and hug her.

"I'm sure Alvin will forgive you, he just needs time." Simon said.

Simon let go of his mother. Vinny wiped her tears away.

"Speaking of Alvin. We need to find Alvin." Vinny said.

"I agree." Theodore said.

"I'll search that way." Vinny pointed to the direction Alvin ran off. "And you two stay here in case Alvin comes back."

"Okay mom." Simon and Theodore gave her a salute.

Vinny smiled, "Good boys." she said.

Vinny ran through the bushes, tree's and undergrowth, with determination in her eyes. She didn't know where Alvin ran off too, but she didn't care. She just needed to find her son. She needed to tell him how sorry she was. She was starting to get tired, but that didn't stop her. She was desperate to find her son. She just ran and ran until she couldn't run anymore. Vinny stopped and leaned against one of the tall tree's and cried. She didn't want to believe what had happened, but unfortunately it had. She couldn't bare to think of it again but it kept on replaying in her mind. Alvin had ran away. And it was all her fault.

"Mom is that you?" called an all-too-familiar voice, high pitched voice. Vinny once again felt the regret and sadness pulsating through her veins as she sat there and cried louder.

"Mom, I'm really sorry!" called Alvin as he ran towards her, "I swear!"

"No Alvin, I'm the one who should be saying sorry." Vinny said as she wiped her tears and looked up at her eldest son. "I shouldn't have abandoned you and your brothers...but I did."

"Alvin got on his knees and was about to pull his mother into a hug but she pushed him away and stood up.

"It was a mistake for you guys to come here." Vinny said. "You and your brothers should go back to where you came from."

Alvin stood up, "No mom." Alvin said. "We came here to find you and...dad." Alvin paused then sighed sadly, remembering what his mother had told him about his father. "So we are not going back home."

Vinny looked at her eldest son with a sad frown on her face, "Alvin I'm sorry..." Alvin interrupted her by pulling her into a tight hug.

"No mom. It's alright, it's alright. Just let it all out." Vinny cried into her eldest son's shoulder.

"Alvin, I'm so sorry, for everything." Vinny cried.

"It's alright mom, I forgive you." Alvin said. He released his mother from the hug.

"You...forgive me?" Vinny asked in shock.

Alvin smiled at his mother and nodded, "All is forgiven."

"Thank you son." Vinny smiled. "Now let's get back to your brothers."

When Alvin and Vinny way back to Simon and Theodore, they all reunited in a big family hug.

"I'm glad you're back, Alvin." Simon said.

"Me too." Theodore said with a smile.

The four chipmunks stopped hugging and smiled at each other.

"So did you forgive mom?" Theodore asked.

Alvin nodded in response, "All is forgiven." he said. Vinny putted a paw on her eldest son's shoulder.

"I love you Alvin." Vinny smiled.

"I love you too, mom." Alvin smiled back.

"Don't forget us mom!" Theodore said with a goofy smile.

"C'mere boys!" Vinny opened her arm's for a hug. The Chipmunks hugged their mother.

"We love you mom." The Chipmunks said in unison.

"I love you guys too." Vinny said.

"I'm just glad we are a family again." Theodore said.

"Us too Theo." Simon said.

At the end of the day, The Chipmunks were telling their mother about the journey they had gone on and they rejoiced. The Chipmunks had decided to stay in San Francisco with their mother so she wouldn't be lonely and they all lived in peace and harmony.

The end.

So this the end of the story. How did you guys like it? I know my first story was bad as fuck but don't worry! I'll get better with my writing skills soon enough.
