Getting use to this new life
The week had gone by really slow and I was missing my best friend so on Friday I called Tasha and told her I wanted to skip and she agreed to meet me at the park once Baze dropped me off, so on Friday morning I was getting ready when Baze announced that we will be leaving soon so I text Tasha and told her I was leaving for school.
When Baze dropped me off I waited for 3 minutes and started walking to the park, once I got there I sat on the swings and waited for Tasha finally she showed up and we ran and gave each other a hug, after we had been sitting for a while Tasha spoke up " so what is the new family like?" I rubbed my hands on my pants " my dad is cool but my sisters are a little snobby and I'm not sure about my mom yet."
When it was getting closer to school being over Tasha and I went our separate ways I had gotten to school a little bit before Baze got to the school, when we got home Cate was sitting on the sofa "Lux can I talk to you in the kitchen please?" I looked at Baze and he looked just as confused as I felt so I fallowed her to the kitchen " so today I was at work and I got a call from the school asking why you weren't in school today and I told them that your dad dropped you off so can you tell me where you were?"
I looked at her "I skipped school to hang out with my friend who I hadn't seen in a couple of weeks!" I was starting to get annoyed " well you still skipped school so you are grounded for two weeks," I rolled my eyes and walked to the living room to see Baze standing there " well I have a surprise for you," we walked to the basement and saw that they had made a room for me so I turned and looked at him " thank you."
Later that night everyone was asleep Bug had called me and I told him about everything and he wanted to come over since I was grounded I had him sneak in threw the basement window,next thing I knew I heard someone knocking on the door "Lux time to get ready to go to grandma's I turned and saw Bug next to me " you have to get up and sneak out!" he kissed me and went out the window.
I took a quick shower and got ready when I got upstairs everyone was waiting at the door " it's about time!" I looked at Hailey and walked around her and went to the car and we drove to Laverne house (Cate's mom) when we got there Baze turned to Cate " so what husband is she one now?" Cate gave him a look and walked to the door.
When we got inside Laverne gave the girls a hug while Abby was staring at Baze when Laverne saw me she just patted my shoulders and we went to the dinning room and started eating, it was quiet until Laverne spoke up " so Lux tell me about yourself?" I swallowed my food well I have a best friend named Tasha and a boyfriend named Bobby," I didn't know what to say so I just stopped talking.
Finally we were done and we were going home when Hailey asked if she could go to her friends house and Cate said yes after she said yes to her Aurora and Avery asked if they could go to their friends houses and they got a yes out of her also, so after we dropped them off I went to my room and watched tv and text Tasha and Bug but they didn't respond.
