My take on the lives of different Jellicles
All ages are in human years
Demeter: She's my favorite so of course I'm doing her first.
Age: 24
Parents: unknown but I also kind of think Grizabella may be her mother. Also I like to think that Jennyanydots or Jellyorum serve as adoptive mothers.
Siblings: Bombalurina
Mate: Munkustrap
Kittens: Jemima
Close friends: I'd say everyone but of course it's obvious her closest confidant is Bomba. Also pretty obvious she's not the biggest fan of Tugger.
Sexuality: straight.
I think that her and Bombalurina were abandoned and somehow ended up at the Junkyard. I think that Jenny and Jelly and their mates took them in and raised them. I also think that Macavity kidnapped them both and quite possibly could have gotten her pregnant, thus being Jemima's biological father. She's naturally anxious but after Macavity, it got a whole lot worse. Despite the obvious hardship she faced, she has a big heart and cares deeply about everyone in the tribe. She is also a very loving and nurturing mother and is terrified of Jemima ever experiencing what she did.
Bombalurina: Also one of my faves
Age: 25 or 26
Parents: Unknownbut again could be Grizabella. Also Jenny or Jelly as adoptive mothers.
Siblings: Demeter
Mate: Tugger? I like to call their relationship complicated.
Kittens: none but I like to think she could be a mother in the future.
Close Friends: Everyone but Demeter is her best friend.
Sexuality: straight
Like I said, her and Demeter were abandoned and then taken in by Jenny and Jelly. She's extremely protective of her sister and often throws herself in harms way for her. Despite her being a flirtatious queen, her heart is huge and is way better with kittens than one would think. She loves her Neice and wants a kitten of her own. I think she also had a run with Macavity but most of her hatred towards him stems towards the pain he caused her sister. Finally, I think her and Tugger are in a weird on again off again relationship, but will eventually get it together and settle down.
Jemima: Another Favorite
Age: 4 or 5
Parents: Munkustrap (or Macavity) and Demeter.
Siblings: none but you never know, Dem could have another kitten.
Mate: I used to say Quaxo or Mistoffolees
but now I think Pouncival (bc I think misto is gay).
Kittens: I mean all of my fics are set when Jemima is young so idk but she of course could be a mother in the future.
Close Friends: Victoria (the bestie), Etcetera and Electra.
Sexuality: straight
She's Demeter's daughter and either Munkustrap or Macavity is her father. Either way, Munkustrap treats her like his own. If she is Mac's kid, I would imagine he wants her back along with her mother.
Munkustrap:
Age: 25
Parents: Old Dueteronomy
Siblings: Tugger (Some say Macavity also and I can definitely get down with that)
Mate: Demeter
Kittens: Jemima (may or may not be his biological kit)
Close Friends: I think he gets along with everyone but I'm inclined to believe that Alonzo is his best friend.
Sexuality: Straight
He is the tribe's protector and One of Old D's sons. He in mated to Demeter, and though it is unclear of whether or not he's Jemima's actual father, he acts that way towards her nonetheless. I for sure think that he's brothers with Tugger, but I think it's possible that Macavity is also his brother.
Rum Tum Tugger:
Age: 25 or 26
Parents: Old Dueteronomy
Siblings: Munkustrap (and Mac?)
Kittens: none (but it could happen!)
Close Friends: I think Alonzo, Mistoffolees and Munk (But I think he pisses everyone off from time to time).
Sexuality: I've see people call him Bi so I'm gonna go with that because although I tend to ship him and Bomba, I'm partial towards him Misto.
I think he's older than Munk which would put him first in line to be protector but since his personality and way of life really does not line up with that job, it went to Munk. I think that despite being flirtatious and full of himself, he does have a big heart and cares about the other members of the tribe, especially Bomba. I think he is also terrified of commitment which is why him and Bomba are so on again off again.
Jellyorum:
Age: 45ish
Parents: Gus the Theater Cat
Siblings: none? But also maybe Admetus.
Mate: Asparagus
Kittens: Etcetera and Electra (biological)
Bombalurina and Demeter (adopted)
Close Friends: Jennyanydots
Sexuality: straight
Is one of the caretakers and nurses of the tribe. Is often very stern and serious but that's just because of how much she cares about everyone and wants them to be safe and happy.
I have this weird idea in my head that her and Jennydots and their mates Skimbleshanks and Asparagus all live in one den together and raise their kits and the kits they took in under one roof. I don't know where I got that, but I really like that idea so I use it in most my fics. She and Jenny took in Bomabalurina and Demeter as kittens after they were abandoned and later took in other cats too, like Tantomile, Coricopat, Cassandra, Alonzo, Mungojerrie ,Rumpletezer, Mistofolees and Victoria. Finally I believe Etcetera and Electra to be her biological daughters.

Siblings: None?
Mate: Skimbleshanks
Kittens: Besides all of the cats that were taken in by the tribe, I like to think her biological kittens are Pouncival, Tumblebrutus and Plato.
Close Friends: Jellyorum
Sexuality: straight
Another caretaker and nurse in the tribe. Like I said before I like to think she Jellyorum and their mates all live and raise the kittens all in one den. She is the more lighthearted and laid back than Jellyorum and also shares the same big heart.
