Kim Possible: The Sitch Of Summer: Shorts
Chapter 1: Movie Date
Kim and Ron were waiting in line at the movie theater in the mall. It was the day after Ron proposed to Kim. Since then, they have devoted themselves to spending time with each other. Today, they decided to see a movie.
"Can you believe it, KP?" whispered Ron excitedly, "Our first movie date as a newly engaged couple."
Rufus chuckled from inside Kim's pocket, "Yep."
"Yeah, I just hope people will pay more attention to the movie instead of gawking at us," said Kim as she turned to see people staring as they walked by.
This was true. Ever since Kim and Ron got engaged, news of their engagement took off like wildfire. People had been staring and/or swamping them with questions since they walked into the mall.
Ron chuckled nervously, "Well, stuff like that is bound to happen. But, I'm sure They'll leave us alone long enough for me to enjoy the movie with my new badical fiance."
Kim chuckled.
"Speaking of movies, I'm a little surprised that you want to see this one," said Kim as she held up a brochure.
On the brochure was a picture of a girl who looked like a princess and a boy who looked like a farmer sharing a kiss. Underneath was a label that read: The Princess Bride.
"Yeah, well, The Princess Bride is a classic," said Ron, "And I wanted to try watching something that you might like so when I saw that the movie theater was playing this movie, I thought we could watch it. Besides, my mom said it was a great movie so I think we would like it."
Kim chuckled, "Ok, if you say so."
With that, Kim and Ron got their tickets and went into the theater.
After the movie, Kim and Ron walked out of the mall with smiles on their faces.
"That was actually a badical film," said Ron, "Westley is definitely my kind of character. Dressing up as a pirate in black, and outwitting those thugs to rescue her love, that kind of reminds me of I saved you from the Lorwardians. And I will admit, Inigo and Fessik were really good characters too even though they kidnapped Buttercup first."
"Yes, I agree," said Kim, "And I really like how Westley and Buttercup are really devoted to each other."
"Yeah," said Ron before turning to Kim with a smirk, "Kind of like we are to each other."
Kim chuckled before her smile turned into a scowl, "The only character I didn't like in that movie was Prince Humperdink."
"Yeah, I can't believe that he was going to kill Buttercup and blame it on someone else," said Ron with distaste, "That is so sick and wrong."
"Sick and wrong," repeated Rufus.
"Even worse, it kind reminds of what you-know-who did to me during the diablo sitch," said Kim with a growl.
"Yeah," said Ron, "What Humperdink was going to do in that film was definitely a little similar to what that jerky synthodrone pulled. It's a good thing that the jerky prince was brought down a notch like Eric was. Only Humperdink didn't melt into a pile of goo."
Kim chuckled, "Yeah. Definitely a good thing. And Westley got the girl of his dreams. Just like you got yours."
Ron smiled, "Yep, my favorite part of the movie was definitely Westley and Buttercup being reunited after five years."
"Yeah, that was definitely my favorite part too," said Kim before she and Ron sat down on a bench, "Overall, it was a spankin movie, and I hope we can see another one just like it really soon."
"I'll always enjoy seeing a romantic movie with my badical fiance," said Ron as he and Kim gave each other loving smiles and kissed.
"Ew," said Rufus as he retreated into Ron's pocket
To be continued:
Now a series of short stories. Just something I wanted to try. And referencing a classic movie like The Princess Bride, pretty clever, huh? I'll try to update this every once in a while, but I have stuff to do for school too so updating this will probably still be a little slow. Anyway, hope you liked this first one.
