Kim Possible: The Sitch Of Summer: Shorts

Chapter 2: Girl Talk

Tara and Hope were sitting at a table in the mall's food court. They were eating lunch and discussing things that have happened in the past few days.

"Can you believe it?" said Tara in disbelief.

"That Kim and Ron are actually engaged?" said Hope, "No I can't believe it."

"I mean, I know those two have been devoted to each other since Junior Prom, but I neve imagined that they would want to take this responsibility this soon," said Tara.

"Yeah, but if you think about it, it does kind of make sense," said Hope, "After all a lot of crazy stuff has happened in the past few days."

"Yeah, I guess you're right," said Tara, "Anyway, I'm really happy for Kim and Ron. I just hope that they can handle this big responsibility of life."

"I'm sure they will," said Hope, "Anyway, I'd say the other day was pretty nice. Well, excluding the part where Bonnie kidnapped us all again."

"I know," said Tara with a deep scowl, "I can't believe she kidnapped me, disguised herself as me and put a mind control collar on me."

"Neither can I," said Hope with a scowl before developing a sympathetic look, "By the way, I'm really sorry that you missed our girl's day out. And that we didn't find out that you were missing sooner. I did figure Bonnie out once, but then she sprayed me with some kind of memory erasing gas."

"Ugh, that Bonnie," said Tara, "Just how much lower can she sink," she sighed, "It's ok. I guess Bonnie's better at acting like me then I thought."

"Yeah, until she starts saying stuff that you wouldn't say," said Hope with a chuckle.

Tara chuckled too.

"So have you talked with Marty lately?" Tara asked.

"Oh, yeah," said Hope, "We talked about what will happen when we start actually going to school together. You know, he also recommended a few movies to me."

"Like what," Tara asked curiously.

"Like Star Wars, Back To The Future, The Wizard Of Oz, The Princess Bride," answered Hope, "Kim and Ron saw The Princess Bride at the mall yesterday."

"Yeah, I've heard of all of those films," said Tara, "Can't say I'm much of a Star Wars fan though."

"Yeah, well, if Marty ever asks us to watch it with him, I think we should give it a chance," said Hope.

"Ok," said Tara.

"He also told me that the Beatles actually had movies," said Hope.

"Really?" said Tara.

"Yeah, Marty said the first Beatles movie he'd ever seen was called Yellow Submarine," said Hope.

"Yellow Submarine," repeated Tara, "That sounds interesting."

"Maybe we'll have to check it out later," said Hope.

"Yeah, maybe," said Tara.

"So how's Josh?" asked Hope.

"Oh, he's doing great," said Tara before remembering something else, "He's actually thinking about coming to Starlight University with us!"

"Really?" said Hope.

"Yep," said Tara, "He thinks it would be better to go to college with us. And me," she said before sighing dreamily.

"Seems like Kim and Ron and me and Marty are not the only ones who want to be together while going to college," said Hope with a chuckle.

"Yeah, well, Josh has made me feel a lot better since I broke up with Jason Morgan so I feel a lot better that when I'm around him. And we're going to make our relationship work this time," said Tara with a smile.

"Well, looks like we're all going to have a great time together," said Hope.

"Yep, looks like it," said Tara.

To be continued:

The Beatles Movie/Album Yellow Submarine was the first Beatles film I've ever been into. Since my childhood actually. I didn't get into the rest of the Beatles movies until I was, like, 13. Anyway, until next chapter.
