Chapter 4: Shopping Spree

Monique was standing at the register in Club Banana. She then noticed two girls walk into the store.

"Oh, hey, Tara. Hey, Hope," said Monique with a smile, "How are you?"

"Oh, we've been doing pretty good," said Tara with a smile of her own, "We just decided to do a little shopping."

"Yeah, we wanted to find some new formal outfits for future dates," said Hope, "Well, even though me and Marty won't actually be dating until we go to college. I just wanted to be prepared."

"Yeah, and I really want to look my best on my dates with Josh," explained Tara.

"Sounds like things between you and your boyfriends are getting serious," said Monique with a smirk.

"Yeah," said Hope, "We've been talking a lot on the phone since we got back from the trip to California."

"Yeah, and Josh and I have been hitting it off ever since I broke up with Jason Morgan," said Tara.

"You went out with Josh Mankey once before, right?" asked Monique.

"Yeah, but we later decided that it really wasn't working out," Tara explained, "This time though, we are definitely going to make our relationship work."

"I'll bet, Girl," said Monique.

"Hey, Girls," said a familiar voice that came in.

It was Kim walking in with a smile on her face.

"Oh, hey, Kim," said Monique before smirk, "How are you and your new fiance doing?"

Kim blushed, "Oh, things have been totally badical. Ron's taking me out to dinner tonight and I wanted to find a new outfit to wear."

"That's what we're doing," said Hope, "When Marty and I start dating on I want to look just as nice for him."

"And me for Josh," said Tara.

"Sounds spankin,"

"I still can't believe you and Ron are actually engaged," said Tara.

"Believe it," said Kim with a smile as she held up her hand and showed off the engagement ring that Ron gave her.

"I was really surprised that Ron wanted to take that step in life with me this soon," said Kim as she began to choke up, "He saves me multiple times, plans a surprise party for me and asks me to marry him. He cares so much about me, just like I ferociously care about him. I can't wait till we're married."

"Neither can we, Girl," said Monique, "Sounds like it's gonna be one HOAP. one heck of a party."

"So when's the wedding," asked Tara.

"We haven't decided yet," said Kim, "Me and Ron will discuss it later."

"Well, Girl, the sooner you get married, the better," said Monique.

"So are we gonna be your bridesmaids?" asked Hope.

"Hope!" Tara whispered.

Kim chuckled, "Of course."

Soon, Kim, Tara and Hope picked out some outfits. Each of them tried on an outfit and showed it off. The girls were impressed with each others outfits as was Monique.

Later, Kim, Tara and Hope were walking out of the store with multiple shopping bags in their hands.

"I think we bought plenty of clothes to last us a while," commented Tara.

"Looks like it," said Hope.

"I just hope Ron doesn't chew me out for being a shopaholic," said Kim.

"I'm sure the outfits you bought will knock Ron off his feet," said Tara.

Kim smiled, "Definitely."
