Chapter 5: Video Game Contest
Felix and Zita were in the living room in Felix's house. Felix was sitting in his wheel-chair while Zita was sitting on the couch. They were just about to play Zombie Mayhem. They were gonna have a contest to see who's the better zombie basher.
"Ok, Zita," said Felix with a smirk, "You ready to see who's better at bashing zombies?"
Zita smirked back, "Bring it."
As soon as the game started, Felix and Zita started punching away at the buttons on their controllers. As their characters in the game were hitting the zombies that came at them, the numbers on top of the screen above both characters went up rapidly. As soon as the game was finished Felix's number was higher than Zita's.
"Yes, I win!" said Felix as he pumped his fist in the air.
Zita sighed, but smiled, "You've always been the ultimate zombie basher."
"Yep," said Felix, "But hey, you did pretty good at bashing those zombies too."
Zita smiled, "Well, thanks. It's too bad Kim and Ron couldn't be here to do this with us."
Felix chuckled, "Yeah, well, considering the Ron-man and Kim just got engaged, I don't think we would want to interrupt any moment between them."
Zita chuckled.
"Besides, I kind of already know that I'm a bit of a better zombie basher than Ron," said Felix with a smirk.
"Really? How?" asked Zita.
"Well, Ron doesn't even know that I know this, but he uses Zombie Mayhem cheat codes," said Felix.
"How do you know that?" asked Zita in surprise.
"I overheard him talking to Kim about it at the last Zombie Paloosa," replied Felix, "Right after Motor Ed took my chair."
"And you didn't chew him out for that?" said Zita.
"Yeah, well, I use cheat codes sometimes," said Felix, "We all need a little help when playing video games."
Zita shrugged, "I guess you're right."
"Anyway, up for another round?" asked Felix.
Zita smirked, "You know it!"
