Kim Possible: The Sitch Of Summer: Shorts

Chapter 8: The Decision

It was later at night. Kim and Ron's parents went out to dinner. Kim and Ron stayed at Ron's house to babysit Hana. Ron was just putting Hana to bed. She was soon sound asleep in her crib. Rufus was asleep too.

"Sleep tight, Little Han," said Ron with a smile before turning to Rufus, "You too, Buddy."

Rufus simply snored.

Ron went back downstairs to his living room where Kim was waiting on his couch with a smile.

"Well, Han's asleep," said Ron, "And our parents should be coming home soon for tea."

"Spankin," said Kim before developing a smirk, "I guess that means that for a little while longer, it's just me and my badical fiance. All alone."

Ron smirked, "Just the way I like it," said before taking a seat on the couch.

Kim chuckled before she leaned in for a long passionate kiss which Ron returned. They spent the next few minutes hugging and kissing each other.

They soon separated and looked at each other with smiles.

"Booyah," said Ron with a chuckle.

"Just a little more please," said Kim with a puppy dog pout.

"Of course, KP," said Ron with a smile, "But I want to ask you a question first."

Kim looked confused, "What is it?" she asked.

"Well, KP, we've been engaged for a few days, but we don't know when we're actually getting married," replied Ron.

"Hmm, yeah, actually, I've been thinking about that too," said Kim.

They both had thoughtful faces for a minute.

"You know, we could have the wedding at the beginning of August," said Ron with a smirk.

"You want us to get married that soon?" Kim said in surprise.

"Yeah. I mean it's better than waiting an entire year of college to do it," said Ron, "And if we get married in early August, it'll give us enough time to have our honeymoon."

"Won't it be ferociously difficult to prepare for a wedding in just a month?" said Kim.

"Oh, I'm sure it won't be that difficult for the girl who can do anything and her badical fiance," Ron said with a smirk.

Kim smirked, "Ok, you make a good point. But maybe we should discuss it with our parents first."

"I'm sure they'll understand," said Ron, "And I'm sure that all of our friends would be willing to help too."

"Ok. If our parents say yes, we'll get married in early August," Kim finally answered with a smile.

"Booyah!" said Ron.

With that, Kim and Ron got back to hugging and kissing each other passionately. However, they didn't notice the door opening and Kim and Ron's parents walking in. Kim and Ron's parents were a little startled, but then again, not really surprised as they expected this kind of behavior from their children. Kim and Ron were completely unaware that they were being watched.

"Ahem," said James with a stern expression.

Kim and Ron turned and noticed their parents staring at them.

"Ahh," they screamed as they abruptly separated.

"Mom, Dad, hi," said Kim with an embarrassed chuckle.

"We forgot you were coming home," said Ron embarrassed.

"Sorry, Kimmie, we didn't mean to bust in on you," said Anne.

"Well, maybe it was kind of our fault," said Kim.

"It's alright, Kimmie. We understand," said Anne.

"Just make sure you're not doing that in the living room too much, ok?" said James.

Kim chuckled nervously, "Ok."

"Well, in other news, Han and Rufus are asleep and me and KP cleaned up the rest of the house," said Ron.

"That's great, Ronnie," said Kate as the parents took off their coats.

"Yes, good job, son," said John.

"Um, Mom, Dad, we actually wanted to ask you something," said Kim nervously.

"What did you want to ask us Kimmie-cub?" asked James.

"Well, Ron and I kind of had the idea that we could have our wedding this summer," Kim explained, "Sometime in the beginning of August."

"You want to get married that soon?" said Anne in surprise.

"It was Ron's idea," said Kim, "He thought it would be better than waiting till the next summer to get married.

"I don't think we'd have enough time to prepare for a wedding in August," said James sceptically.

"Come on, dad, I'm sure that we can get all of our friends to help," said Kim, "Besides if me and Ron can jump out of airplanes, scale mountains, beat super villains, I'm sure we can handle getting ready for a wedding in about a month."

"That actually sounds like a good idea," said John.

"Well, I'm just not sure," said James.

"Come on, James," said Anne, "I'm sure they can handle it."

"Well, yes, but I-" James started to say before seeing Kim and Anne give James the puppy dog pout. He gave in.

"Ok, fine," said James, "If you and Ronald can get the wedding prepared in time, you can get married in August."

Kim gave her dad a big hug, "Thank you, Daddy."

Kim gave Anne a big hug too.

James gave Ron a stern look, "Now Ronald, I know we've had this talk before, but make sure you take very good care of my Kimmie-cub, you got that?"

Ron chuckled nervously, "Don't worry, Mr. Dr. P. We can handle it."

"I'm sure you will," said Kate.

"We support you all the way, Ronald," said John.

"Thanks, Mom and Dad," said Ron as he hugged each of his parents.

Ron turned to Kim, "Well, KP. It looks like we'll be getting married in just a month."

"Looks like it," Kim said with a big smile before she jumped at Ron and layed a kiss on his lips.

Ron melted into the kiss once again ignoring the fact that their parents were watching. Kim and Ron's parents simply smiled at this heartfelt moment.
