Chapter Seven: Spellbound
Once Bailey was gone Carly quickly turned over to look Aaron. "I'm sorry but I'm confused. Is Bailey your mother or your sister?" She questioned him.
"Well she's supposed to be my sister but I think that she thinks that she's my mother." He replied when suddenly Brittney started walking towards them.
"Uh oh, don't look now but Bitchy Brittney is headed your way." Carly whispered in his ear as Aaron groaned and rolled his eyes before reluctantly turning around to face her to see that her skin was back to normal and that she was smiling brightly at him.
"How did your skin clear up so fast?" He questioned her.
"I'm a witch Aaron, I brewed up an antidote." She replied.
"Good for you." He began. "Now I suggest that you go away and leave me alone otherwise you'll have to brew up another one." He told her while slowly turning back around again to face his supper.
"Wait Aaron, I just wanted to come and apologize to you." Brittney told him while making a rather sad and sheepish face.
"You should be apologizing to Derek, he's the one you insulted remember? Not me." He pointed out.
"You know what Air? You're exactly right." She replied with a grin as Aaron quickly snapped his head back around to look at her and then narrowed his eyebrows and glared at her.
"First of all,.. Bailey is the only one who's allowed to call me that as it's her special nickname for me. Second of all,.. I know I'm right so get out of here Brittney!" He snapped.
"I just wanted to give you a butterbeer though just to prove to you how sorry I am for calling poor Donald a mudblood." She told him while withdrawing her wand and making a glass appear right before him on the table.
"His name is Derek." Aaron growled while still staring at her.
"Right, Derek sorry." She began. "Why don't you take a drink and I'll go talk to him?" She suggested with a grin while Carly eyed her suspiciously.
"You despise muggleborns." She pointed out.
"I know, but a girl's got a right to change doesn't she?" Brittney questioned her with a shrug and slowly turned back around with an evil sneer as she started walking away right when Bailey returned.
"What was Brittney doing over at the Gryffindor table? She's a Slytherin." She said as she went to go take her seat again.
"Apparently she came to apologize." Aaron replied with a shrug.
"Did Hell freeze over or something and I missed it?" She questioned him as Aaron chuckled.
"Apparently so." He replied while grabbing the butterbeer and tilted it back towards his lips.
"Aaron no! Don't! She probably poisoned it or something!" she cried but it was already too late. A goofy grin stretched a crossed his face after he took a few sips and locked eyes with Carly.
"Why would she do that?" He questioned her with uncertainty.
"Cause she's evil with a capital E remember?" She questioned him back.
"No she isn't. She's the most beautiful witch I ever saw and I think I'm in love with her." He replied as Bailey turned over to look at Carly.
"Oh no,.." she began with a gulp. "I think Brittney put love potion inside of his butterbeer." She said.
"Ya think!?" Carly cried before Aaron got on top of the Gryffindor table and stood up.
"Can I have everybody's attention please!?" He cried.
"Oh God,.. please no." Bailey pleaded inside a whisper while blushing bright red and hiding her face as the room suddenly grew silent and all eyes now fell on top of Aaron.
"I just wanted to let everyone know,.. that I'm in love with Brittney Stevenson! She is the honey to my bee and the Juliet of my Romeo." He said as a bunch of laughter filled the room.
"Aaron get down here!" Bailey snapped inside a whisper, but it wasn't any use. Aaron simply just ignored her and started to sing and dance a crossed the tables and Brittney grinned up at him from a crossed the room.
"Oh you've got me crazy baby it's not hard to see! You're the dream come true to my fantasies! You've got my heart beating and I barely can breathe, don't you see what you're doing to me!? Oh you've got me under your spell girl! That's what you do with your magic girl! You rock my world girl and knocking me down! For you've got me spellbound! Ooh, ooh yeah! You've got me spellbound! Ooh, ooh yeah! Yeah you've got me spellbound!" He belted out as he came to a stop in the center of one of the tables.
"People say that I'm as tame as can be,.. but the way you move baby unleashes the beast in me!" He sung as he started dancing again with the entire room watching him and listening to him. "Oh the moon is full and I'm about to howl,.. cause you got me spellbound!" He sang before he started to rap a little bit. "Uh,.. uh,.. uh huh,.. that's right. Oh the way you move is like a slithering snake in the night, you don't know when they're going to strike and it's enough to fill you up with fright because then you know it's way too late,.." He said before he went back to the chorus.
"Oh you've got me under your spell girl! That's what you do with your magic girl! You rock my world girl and knocking me down! For you've got me spellbound! Ooh, ooh yeah! You've got me spellbound! Ooh, ooh yeah! Yeah you've got me spellbound! Yeah you've got me spellbound! You've got me spellbound baby!" He belted out before the room erupted in cheers and applause and Bailey just simply rolled her eyes and shook her head.
Later on that night Bailey and Rose started walking back to their dormitories together. "I honestly can't believe him!" Bailey exclaimed. "He's acting like such a bigshot and he's only acting that way because Brittney spelled him!" She cried.
"Yeah you've got me spellbound!" Rose sang to herself hoping that Bailey wouldn't hear her but just simply glanced up at her when she realized that she had. "What?" She questioned anxiously. "It's catchy!" She cried as Bailey rolled her eyes.
"Come on, let's just get to Professor Dumbledore's office and tell him what happened. He'll know what to do." Bailey told her and suddenly stopped and turned around and started leading Rose back towards his office.
