Sarah awoke to her alarm blaring Moonage Daydream by David Bowie. Next to her alarm though she saw a lone crystal. 'Jareth,' She thought to herself. When she picked it up though, it turned into a note...

bonjour précieux. assurez-vous de vous habiller léger aujourd'hui. et assurez-vous de porter des shorts ou des pantalons, vous en aurez besoin. Rendez-vous au déjeuner, retrouvez-moi près de l'aqueduc de Briare.

good morning precious. make sure to dress light today. and be sure to wear shorts or pants, you'll need it. See you at lunch, meet me by the Briare aqueduct.

Sarah smiled to herself and got ready for the day. After applying a light amount of makeup, she threw on some high waisted shorts and another poet's blouse but this time it was a light pink. She laced up her ballet sandals and headed out the door. She was giddy with excitement to go on this lunch with her friend. She had a long week of classes and time seemed to drone on, even talking to him during the week didn't make it go any faster. Sarah was excited to talk to him more and see where he was taking her. He hinted at it all week but wouldn't tell her where.

She ran across the street and called for a cab to take her to the aqueduct. She gazed out the window and saw all the different colors everyone was wearing. Some colors were super bright and others were extremely dark. She liked the color that looked like the sky and Jareth's eyes the most. Her least favorite was the one that was in one of the large puddles on the side of the road. It was too bland, not magical enough for her.

When she arrived, she saw Jareth bent down over a small boat, He was wearing dark, tight, rolled up jeans and a white flowy dress shirt with most of the shirt unbuttoned. His hair was shorter but still wild, and darker. He had on round thin frame glasses, and was sporting a five o' clock shadow. On top of his head was a light sun hat. He looked absolutely beautiful. "Hey stranger. Good to see you. Thank you for the crystal but how did you get it in my room?"

Jareth stood up straight and walked to Sarah. When he was millimeters away from her, he conjured a crystal.

"Precious, I may be aboveground but I do still have my magic. I just wished for the crystal next to you. You are looking well today, how was the ride here?" Jareth took her hand and led her into the boat carefully and stood behind her when she was settled.

"It was gorgeous. So many different colors, so many different shades of the same color. I never knew life would be this vivid. I have realized though, the water matches the sky and that it's my favorite color." Sarah looked over her shoulder to peek at Jareth. He was watching her with those beautiful eyes. She made sure not to mention that she notices his eyes and that they match the sky and the water, and especially made sure not to mention that that's the reason as to why it's her favorite color.

"I'm glad you enjoyed the trip. My favorite color is the color of the trees and grass. It's calming and reminds me of something I hold dear to me. By the way, I took the liberty of riding the boat around this area to make sure it's safe and to make sure we don't get lost. There is an area you'll enjoy, just you wait." Jareth made sure not to mention that the reason he liked those colors so much was because of her eyes. He saw her blush when she mentioned her favorite color and he loved the way she looked. He wanted to see that look more often and he'd make sure he got to.

They spent the boat ride going down small alleys, comparing colors, laughing, cracking jokes and living their best life. This was paradise to them, spending time together and enjoying each other's company. Sarah eventually turned herself around in the boat to stare at Jareth. He was more interesting than color comparison. She'd get lost staring at his features and expressions. She tried memorizing every curve of him. He was drop dead gorgeous. Otherworldly gorgeous, completely hypnotic. When he noticed her staring, he'd wink with a debonair smile which made her blush.

After a while they ended up in a little island park full of willow trees, flowers all around, and a blanket with an assortment of fruits and cheeses. "We are here. Take a look around." Jareth helped her out of the boat which brought them dangerously close to one another. He almost considered holding her and never letting go. He went to back away from her but she yanked him closer to her pulling him into a warm embrace. Sarah gasped.
