Chapter Fourteen: A Tragic Event
Later on that evening everybody started heading to the Great Hall for supper. That's when suddenly Bailey stopped and turned around to look behind her at Justin. "Hey Justin, have you seen Aaron lately?" She asked him but he just simply shook his head at her.
"No, I haven't seen him since he said that he was going to go to Qudditch practice with Bailey." He replied as Bailey groaned and rolled her eyes.
"It figures that he's with that girl!" She exclaimed. "He was supposed to be back already!" She cried. "You guys go ahead and sit down to eat, I'm going to go get him. I'll drag him by the ear if I have to since he can't be out by the time the moon comes out." She said before turning around and starting to head towards the exit of the castle.
Meanwhile, Aaron and Carly had just dismounted off their broomsticks and were now currently making their way back towards the castle. "You know Aaron, whatever happens I'm happy for you. Even if that means that your group gets first place and The Siren Sisters come in second." She told him as he just simply stopped and then turned to face her while smiling his glistening smile as his eyes sparkled with joy and passion as he gazed deeply into hers.
"Hey, you know that you'll always be first place to me right?" He questioned her as she smiled back at him while he tilted her chin back, closed his eyes, and started passionately kissing her. She closed her own eyes and started kissing him back with just as much passion as the sun finished setting in the distance.
That's when suddenly Aaron realized that he had lost track of time. His heart began to slow down and his breath grew cold but his body began to heat up. As he turned his head, he saw it. "Oh no." He said with astonished and horrified gasp as he saw the full moon beginning to rise and started breathing heavily. Fear and panic grew into Carly's eyes as Aaron's baby blue eyes suddenly changed into a devilish red.
Carly wanted to run away as fast as she could, but she was petrified and watched as her boyfriend was frozen on the spot as well. His fingernails rapidly began to grow until they had been extended into claws and his mouth fell open while his teeth grew rather long and pointy. His ears grew pointy as well and his light-brown hair started turning into dark, thick fur growing all over his body.
As he grew size and stature his robes fell off of him and as his hands and feet transformed into paws he popped out of his shoes since they were now too small and wouldn't fit him. He started snarling and drooling as he was now in his full werewolf form and that's when he tilted his head back and raised his nose and let out a rather long and loud eerie howl just as Bailey had finally managed to run out towards them.
"Oh no, I'm too late." She said and that's when suddenly Aaron turned his head and growled at and continued to drool.
"Bailey!" Carly exclaimed while jumping out in front of her with her arms outstretched as Aaron slowly crept towards them before raising his left paw and striking Carly to the ground knocking her unconscious and that's when suddenly Bailey let out a rather loud screech.
"Carly!" She cried while quickly turning her head back over to look at her as her small little body trembled with fright when suddenly she remembered something really important. "Wait, I'm a Gryffindor. I have to be brave. After all he's my brother and he would never hurt me." She said to herself as she forced herself to turn her head back to look at the older brother that she loved so dearly.
However, right as she did he swiped her with his paw and sent her flying in the air and she was slammed against the wall of the Qudditch pitch with another loud scream and landed down inside the dirt. Even though she wasn't unconscious she couldn't move and an enormous gash on her forehead was oozing out blood.
As she heard his continued snarls while he continued to creep closer to her she started to cry. "Aaron please! Please don't hurt me! Don't kill me! I don't want to die! I really don't want to die!" She pleaded. "Please, it's me your little sister Bailey." She said and before she knew it she was staring up into his red devilish eyes that looked like they were staring straight into her soul. The eyes that she knew weren't her brother's. "I love you." She told him as a few more tears rolled down her cheeks.
At that moment that's when Aaron struck and sunk his teeth straight into her chest that ripped into her heart and as she slowly turned her head to the side,.. she took her last breath while the remains of her tears stayed upon her cheeks as he finished tearing her heart out and started chewing it up while her blood splattered everywhere. Once he had finished his dirty deed, he turned around and hurried into the dark forest.

The next morning as the sun's rays peaked over the trees, Aaron found himself unclothed and all alone inside the woods. He slowly sat up and placed his hand on top of his head and that's when suddenly he remembered what had happened the night before and how he had attacked Bailey. "Oh shit!" He exclaimed as he quickly got to his feet and performing some wandless magic managed to make a white robe appear around his body before he started running out of the forest calling her name.
He hadn't remembered all of the specific details of what happened, all he knew was that he had to find her and talk to her immediately and make sure that she was alright. When he exited the forest he turned his head and realized that she was nowhere to be found and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thank God, I bet that means she managed to make it back up to the castle. I bet Carly's there as well." He said to himself before he started running back up to the hill to the school as fast as his bare feet could carry him.
