Donna Noble is searching for a man. No, not one with whom to get into a romantic relationship with, that'd be gross. No, the man she's looking for is the Doctor.
Donna had met the Doctor as she was walking down the aisle. She had been kidnapped, or, I guess transported onto his spaceship. The TARDIS, as he called it.
The spaceman had offered to let Donna join him on his travels through the universe, and time. She had declined, said it was terrifying, and dangerous. She still agrees with that, even though she's looking for him.
She vacationed all around the Earth, by herself, but once you've seen Earth form itself, nothing compares. So, when she got bored, Donna headed straight home to London, searching for anything strange. Anything that could be chalked up to aliens.
That's how Donna Noble ended scouring Google for anything extra-terrestrial related. Her mother forced her down to the shops, but as she's just to the door, she spies the box.
The small-big, blue-white, box that she's been yearning to see for months. She rushes to the door and knocks...
*Across Town*
Lord Turner Hanson Moore sits in a large, comfortable chair, a fire crackling behind him. Standing before him is a salesman.
He holds in his hands a large piece of technological and mechanical genius. A piece of alien technology, found half buried on the bank of the River Thames.
"How much do you want for it?" The Lord of Wixton inquires.
"I just wanna get this off ma hands, I'll just give it to ya. Please just take it."
The Lord nods at the salesman, who takes that as his cue to leave. Turner turns the machine over in his hands, inspecting the device. One one of the sides there are rainbow buttons, with squiggly characters, most likely an alien language. Two of the sides hold dials and switches. A funnel shaped object is attached to one side. The other two sides remain blank, providing a safe place to hold it.
Lord Wixton smirks, in a sinister manner, before typing in a code, and twisting a dial, setting into motion a chain of events that will lead to a path of destruction.
*In the TARDIS*
The Doctor has just landed his TARDIS, when a loud banging comes from the door. He turns confused to the console, and the screen springs into motion, lighting up.
There, standing on the threshold of his time/space machine is a fuming mad ginger woman. The Time Lord knows for a fact that he has never met, or seen, this woman. He walks to the door. The ginger woman has just flung her arms back to once again bang on the door, as he flings them open, surprising her.
"Who the heck are you?" The woman asks.
"I'm the Doctor, who are you?"
"You're not the Doctor, unless, are you a shape shifter. Cause if so that's just weird."
"Something like that." Her statement has confirmed for the Gallifreyan that he must meet this woman in his future, after his regeneration. "Who are you?"
"I'm Donna, spaceman, you kidnapped me on my wedding day, don't you remember? My fiance was a jerk, there were giant spiders, you drained the Thames.
"Sorry, Donna, not ringing any bells. I travel through time, maybe this happens in my future, so how about you don't bring it up again."
Donna looks at this stranger claiming to be the Doctor. She doesn't know if she fully believes it's him, but before she can ask anymore questions, a blaring alarm erupts from inside the box.
The alien turns and runs over to the console, typing something into the keyboard. "Well, I hate to cut this short, but it seems something has come up that needs my attention. It's been nice meeting you. Bye!"
"Oh no you don't, spaceman, I'm not even sure you're the same guy I met before! I'm coming with you!"
The Time Lord looks at the red-head, quickly studying her, "No," he says, once again trying to leave.
"Oi,you don't get to 'no' me! I'm coming with you, whether you like it, or not!" She yells, once again fuming mad."
The Gallifreyan quickly agrees, deciding it would be faster to just agree with her. He starts to run off, following where his TARDIS had informed him the alien technology was located. Donna yells toward him, "I'm not running all round London, we can take my car!"
The Doctor concedes that it will be faster to drive than it would be to run. He follows the ginger to her car. "It's like a blow-dryer on wheels!"
"OI!"
*Across Town*
Turner smiles as the alien weaponry pulverizes the table across the room from where he sits. He smiles happily, for he finally has the power he needs to take over the world. He raises himself from his chair, before straightening his well-tailored suit.
He walks outside, deciding that it's finally time for his plan for world domination to commence. He pulverizes a few peasants he comes across that are rather annoying.
He raises the piece of high-tech weaponry, preparing to fire once again, when a blue car careens toward him. From the passenger side a man wearing a leather jacket and rather large ears. From the drivers seat comes a ginger woman.
"Oi," the man in the leather jacket shouts, "you, with the pulverizer, who are you, and where'd you get it from?"
Turner looks at the man, he seems to be smart and well versed in alien ways, "Turner Hanson Moore, Lord of Wixton."
"Lord of Wixton? I'm the Lord of Time."
"Who wears a suit in the middle of the day?" The ginger questions.
"People who have a sense of presentation."
"So, what your saying is," the Time Lord says, "is that you're a loser."
As the annoying couple continue their barrage of insults, the Lord gets angrier, and angrier. "Who are you?" He bellows at the two.
"I'm Donna."
"And I'm the Doctor."
"You're a doctor?" The Lord says, incredulously. How could this annoying fool be a doctor.
"Of sorts, I'm more of a Doctor than you are."
Before the Lord can say anything in response the ginger speaks, "Y'know, you have a very interesting face. Have you ever thought about the movies?"
The Lord smiles at the girl, not noticing as the Doctor creeps nearer and nearer to him, "You really think I could?"
"Sure," Donna says, "buy a ticket, they let anyone in."
Turner goes to turn his alien weaponry on the annoyance of a woman, but the Gallifreyan manages to wrestle it from the Lord. He takes his Sonic Screwdriver, severing a few of the wires, making it impossible to operate. He ties the man to a nearby lamppost, leaving him for a police officer, or possibly UNIT to find.
The Doctor piles back into Donna's tiny car, the ginger hopping behind the wheel. "Okay, spaceman, you've convinced me that you are most definitely the same guy I met."
The Time Lord smiles at the girl, "And I look forward to meeting you one day, Donna."
The temp drops the Doctor back off at his box, "I guess I'll have to wait until I meet you again, won't I? Travelling with you now might destroy the timeline or something."
"Trust me, Donna, we will meet again, that I am certain of. You are far to special for us to only meet twice, so don't stop looking." He walks into his box, setting it into motion. Donna Noble watches as the box disappears, the wheezing filling her ears. Once the TARDIS has fully disappeared, she walks back off to start the shopping.
She won't give up searching for the skinny spaceboy in a trench coat.
