ON TO THE STORY!

Walking towards one of the hangar bays for Omega, Harry slid his wand into his sleeve when he noticed several Vorcha lingering behind him. When he turned the corner, he sighed in relief when they entered a house next to him, but cringed when he heard the sound of them laughing. It sounded like sandpaper on glass, and had the same affect of making Harry shiver when he heard it. Speedin up, Harry turned another corner and found himself in front of the entrance to the hangar bay.

Stepping inside while throwing up a diversion ward to keep anyone that would bear him or anything inside ill will away, he began his work. Throwing repelling charms towards every available surface, the dock workers slowly left, until eventually only Harry was left in the bay. hitting a button on his omni-tool, letting Hermione know that the task was done, he pulled a trunk out of his pocket. Resizing the oak trunk so that it rested on the floor in front of him, he opened the lid and pointed his wand into it's depths. Motioning upwards, he pulled out large stacks of weapons from the warehouse Kyrilhad, as well as the mercenaries that had attacked him and Hermione. He began to quickly seperate the small arms, rifles, support weapons, and the like. He surprisingly found several precision sniper rifles that he managed to recognize through Kyril's memories, something called a 'Black Widow'.

Setting the five of those that he had found aside, Harry motioned again towards the trunk and four crates flew out. Opening one of them revealed what must be hundreds of omni-tools, and a quick check of the others revealed similiar contents. Placing the omni-tools aside and clearing the weapons he had piled near the exit, Aria and Hermione entered a few seconds later. Aria immediately headed towards the weapon piles and began to peruse their contents, whistling every now and then as she saw something that impressed her. Hermione meanwhile pulled out another trunk and began to levitate small blocks of dark grey metal out of it. Placing one on the opposite side of the hangar bay, she hit it with a 'finite' spell, and dispelled any spells on the metal. The block immediately grew, enlarging to about the size of a couch. Continuing to pull out similiar blocks until she had stacked them 5 blocks high and 10 blocks across in a pyramid shape, she looked over at Harry.

"Wow Harry. I knew Villaestrus had a lot of this, but this is only about a fifth of what he had, and that is just of this metal." she said, a small smile evident on her face.

Harry just sent a grin back, before turning to Aria.

"Aria? You said that you knew of a ship builder that wouldn't ask too many questions, but still made some, and I quote, 'Damn fine ships that would turn some heads'?" He said, giving her an inquisitive look.

Aria nodded, before saying, "I'll get into contact with them. They aren't the most mobile person, but that isn't anything that contruction mechs or personnel can't fix."

At Harry's nod and a look from Hermione, she started to type on here omni-tool, sending a message to her friend who could build the duo a ship to serve their needs. While Aria sent the message, Harry began to think of what to do with all of the weapons they had 'acquired', when an idea struck him.

"Hey Hermione? How much firepower do you think all of these guns have, combined? Would it be enough to punch through a ship's shields or bulkhead based on the designs you have looked at?" Harry asked, the bushy haired brunette turning with a suspicious look on her face, tinged with a healthy dose of wariness.

"I suppose..." She said, looking at Harry with a look that just screamed 'What stupid idea will you or I have to fix this time?'

Harry merely grinned at her before going back to what he was doing, causing her to turn around with a scowl and continue to pull out blocks of material. She turned around again when she felt a rush of heat followed by a sucking noise. Wand already in hand, she approached where Harry was standing still as a statue looking towards a smoking object on the floor.

"HARRY JAMES POTTER! What in Morgana's name did you do?" She seethed, while internally berating herself for not intervening with the obvious signs.

He just pointed at the smoke again, and she turned to see a large block of metal where the guns were previously. Flicking her wand, the final bits of smoke blew away, to reveal a large cylinder, that narrowed and opened up at the end, almost like a-

"Harry? Did you do what I think you just did?" She said, gaping at him.

He merely shrugged, not sure of his ability to speak, while looking at his creation.

This was the scene to which Aria returned after her call with the ship builder. Seeing a large gray cylinder on the floor which seems to of captivated her two lovers, she approached and poked Hermione in the shoulder.

"So, what did I miss?" She asked, not missing how Harry looked almost, proud?

Hermione just groaned, before pointing at Harry, then the object.

"This idiot, just decided to fuse all of those guns to gether, and SUCCEEDED! Congratulations Aria! We are now the proud owner of a mountable gun with the power of all of those weapons behind it. THIS! THIS, is why I chose not to be Harry's co-worker in the Department of Mysteries." She yelled, while Harry finally broke out of his trance.

"His luck would have both of us leading the department in a week, or have one of us sent back in time to become one of the other's parents!"

Hermione finally finished yelling and ranting about how Harry was completely ignoring the cardinal rules of magic, specifically transfiguration. He still was in the doghouse for a few days while she sulked about him tearing her previously held truths to shreds when the ship designer arrived. Aria pulled him into a side room of the club, asking him to wait there, before leaving to retrieve her wayward companions.

"So, who is this ship designer you found, Aria?" Harry said, trying to gather information on the designer.

"His name is Halyn, and has been designing and building ships for over two and a half centuries. I was lucky he was even in Omega, to be perfectly honest." Aria admitted.

Walking into the room, the trio came face to face with a veritable giant on four legs. Harry stared slightly, before snapping ot of his daze, while Hermione ran through what she knew of his race in her head.

"Cheerful. Greetings Humans. Impressed. Aria T'Loak has vouched for you, and so here we stand. Inquisitive. What exactly are you building, and what are the size limitations here?" The Elcor spoke, dipping his head as he greeted the duo for the first time.

Hermione took the lead, answering before Harry could be struck with a deadly case of 'foot-in-mouth'.

"Hello. My name is Lily Evans, and this is Sirius Black. We were hoping that you could help us in designing a ship for us to use for our own ends. Might that be a service you are willing to offer? The ship should be about the size of a large frigate or a small cruiser."

Halyn considered Hermione, Harry, and Aria, before nodding his head.

"Interested. What kinds of materials, funds, and space limitations will I be working with?" Halyn asked.

Harry jumped in here, with, "We have access to large sums of money, with several suppliers for materials and other odds and ends. As for space limitations, we have access to a hangar capable of docking and unloading a dreadnought."

Halyn nodded pensively, the elcor's features leaving no discernible answer available from his body language. He nodded again, before saying, "Pleased. I can build you a ship. When do you want to start? We can discuss specifics after a basic plan has been drawn."

"Immediately, of possible." Harry replied.

"Pleased. Then let us begin."

"Annoyed. Please refrain from looking over my shoulder like that. It is rather irritating."

Harry groaned, looking at the timetable shown for when their ship would be complete. He dragged himself to bed, intent on speeding up the process, but not quite sure how. That night, he dreamed of the figure again, but this time, he felt as though he should have known who, or what, it was. When he woke up, he stealthily left the bed, leaving Hermione asleep. He apparated into the hangar bay, seeing the almost-complete skeleton that would be the ship's frame.

Slashing his hand towards the door, he threw up an alarm ward, and then got to work. He began to etch runes into the air, the flaming symbols rotating around him and slowly speeding up. After a few minutes, he began to pour magic into the runes, stopping his movements as the final rune joined the flaming maelstrom around him. The runes exploded outwards, burning themselves into the hangar bay, before fading into nothing. There were no physical markings now, but when Harry slid his magic through the room, he felt the pulses of magic from the runes in response to him.

Letting his hands drop to his sides, he grinned when he saw the metal skeleton that the ship would be constructed around solidify with a few groans as metal bent into place. He left the room, sliding back into bed with Hermione, intent on catching the reactions of the builders that morning.

-LINE BREAK-

Getting up out of bed, Hermione nudged Harry, who muttered something before rolling off the bed, and hitting the floor with a thud. Hermione snickered as he picked himself up, glaring at Hermione, then the bed, and then finally at the floor. Hermione just laughed, before throwing some clothes on and leaving the room, meeting up with Aria outside. Harry was out a few minutes later, still with a dour look on his face.

The trio made their way to the hangar bay, where Halyn was standing outside the doors with the Turian who was in charge of actually getting the ship built vs. designing and ensuring the success of the ship.

"-n't see how ANYTHING like that could just... happen! When we left yesterday, we knew there were multiple flaws in the frame which would of taken weeks to fix, but now the entire damned thing is one FUCKING piece!" The turian yelled, his mandibles making his frown look rather strange to the two magicals.

Upon catching the tail end of the conversation, Harry couldn't help but crack a grin, managing to hide it before Hermione could see. It was not a moment too soon, for the brunette spun, glaring at him while he tried to adopt an innocent look. With another glare, she turned around, and surveyed the hangar.

"Will this set the construction back at all?" she asked.

"Delighted. Of course not. This will strengthen the integrity of the ship's ability to take damage by preventing something from causing problems if it hits a structural connection. Curious. The ability to do this would accelerate the construction so it occurs in weeks, instead of months. Curious. Do you know anything about this?" Halyn asked, directing the question to Harry, Aria, and Hermione.

"No, but we'll look into it, Hermione said, while sending a mental punch in the arm to Harry, causing him to develop a minor headache.

The rest of the day continued in much the same vein as the past few, with the workers beginning to construct the ship from the inside, out. At the end of the day, Harry was dragged off by Hermione.

"Why the hell would you pull a stunt like that Harry! We are trying NOT to make ourselves stand out here." She said, glaring at him.

Before she could continue, Harry cut her off.

"Hermione, we have done nothing BUT attract attention since we got here. First we put down several mercenary squads, followed by seducing and all but subverting the 'ruler' of this entire station. No-one may have said anything, but people HAVE noticed. What is more worrying, is that WE haven't noticed this. Why the fuck haven't we, the subjects of this whole thing, fucking noticed!" Harry said, all but yelling at the end.

Thanking her foresight for casting silencing wards beforehand, Hermione was about to retort, when she stopped.

'He's right. We HAVE been attracting attention, and haven't noticed it until now...' she thought.

"I.. I think your right Harry..." She said, finally realizing the weight of just what they had done.

"We've painted a target on our backs with the mercenary thing, and now with us being so close to Aria, we may have all but bought a sign that says 'LOOK AT ME'. We need to look at this before we do anything else." She said, her voice wavering a little bit as she grew scared, not quite sure why.

"We've been being manipulated, and doing things we wouldn't normally do. We need to find what exactly is doing this. We haven't been the same since we crossed the veil..."

MWUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

CLIFFHANGER!

I didn't forget about this one! Yay!

Updates for my other stories will be up soon!

I don't really have anything for this AN this time, other than to check out the poll on my channel about character relationships again if you haven't already. I plan to use that choice within the next few chapters. That will determine the path the story will take, and where our favorite wizard and his witch will be going.
