This wasn't his usual activity for a Saturday night or any night really. For the past two years he maintained his strict schedule of being in bed by 7:30. He wasn't inclined to break his routine for these extras, but a certain someone with chubby pink cheeks and a whole lot of nerve dared to test his resolve. Dammit, he wasn't one to concede to a bright smile, warm eyes, and a bashful plea, but it was actually his irritation that made him agree to join them. When did she learn to be bashful anyway? Probably from that damn nerd. She was strong as hell, nowhere near timid, ready to face whatever danger there was—he could go one forever, like how a certain mumbling nerd. But he'd be lying if he said her pulling him to the side like they were about to share a rare secret, shyly glancing up at him, and coming within inches of his body didn't make him almost forget how to breath.

He'd just changed into sweats and a skull black tee after washing up from his sparring with Kirishima when she approached him in the hall. He was headed to his room and they were the only two present. The sun was setting and she glowed in the late afternoon sunset. Her hair was pulled back in a low ponytail and her bangs framed her innocent face. He decided to try his best to ignore her, maybe she was looking for Kirishima. He looked everywhere but at her but couldn't ignore her any longer when she walked directly towards him.

Her bright eyes were trained on him. The faint smell of gingerbread wafted up at him when she invaded his space, something most weren't brave enough to do.

She asked him, "Will you watch a movie with us," in the quietest voice he'd ever heard her use. He wasn't used to that. She was confident and straightforward. She didn't beat around the bush or play stupid games like some of his other classmates. If she wanted to know something she'd confront you head on and demand an answer. He respected that about her. Because of her fearlessness she stood out above the rest. She wasn't afraid to challenge him, speak to him, ask him what the hell his problem was. He'd come to expect her directness whenever they talked, so this threw him off. This was a side of her he was never special enough to experience.

Standing there in the moment with her so close he didn't know how to react. Being who he was, his first instinct was to yell, asking what the hell her problem was and why was she acting so weird. However, in that moment, a more primal instinct emerged. An instinct that swelled up ever so often in the past year whenever she was too close. He would have the urge to pull her nearer and tease her with his heat, like she did with him so innocently. His body would scream at him to cover her mouth with his and taste the lips he'd been dreaming about since he first beat her at the sports festival. He went back and forth between these two desires and before he started to look like the morons he hung out with, he decided to settle into his usual grumpy mood.

"Why the hell would I want to do that?" He thrust his hands into his baggy sweats and settled against the wall angling away from her. To anyone not Bakugou Katsuki he looked like his usual annoyed self, but a rush of excitement washed over him and his hands became sweatier than usual. For more assurance, he slid a few inches away from the temptress. The more distance between them the better.

"Well Tooru and Mina accidentally rented a movie when they tried to read the description. Tooru freaked out and told Yaomomo who said we should tell Aizawa-sensei, but Mina said we should at least watch the movie before being subjected to whatever punishment he'll have in store for us tomorrow. Then I suggested we watch it as a group, you know for a little bonding or whatever. Then Mina suggested we invite some guys, so she went and invited Kirishima and Kirishima said we should invite you. Then they volunteered me to be the one to ask you, so here we are."

Uraraka paused after her lengthy explanation and looked up at Bakugou expectantly. He still couldn't decided if he wanted to be annoyed or aroused, so he settled on indifference.

"So you only invited me because Shitty Hair said to? And what makes him think I would want to watch a movie with you extras anyway?" He tried to keep his voice even and uninterested but she inched closer during her plea. Now a warm part of her, her boob—he was pretty sure it was her boob, rested lightly on his arm. Bakugou closed his eyes and tried to calm his heart rate. It's wasn't easy once all the heat in his body pooled in a certain appendage. The best thing to do would be to escape. He adjusted himself to push away from the wall and walk away, but Uraraka grabbed his arm before he could do so.

"No, I wanted to invite you, but I thought you'd be more likely to come if I said it was Kirishima who invited you."

He was taken aback by both her candidness and stupidity.

"And why would I want to watch a movie just because Kirishima was there?"

Uraraka let his arm go, much to his inner dismay, and said, "I guess because he's your best friend." She shrugged and took a step away from him.

Bakugou scoffed.

"Him following me around does not make us best friends."

Uraraka didn't respond. She looked down at her feet and back up at him, eyes clear and waiting. She blinked a couple of times, but didn't look away.

Feeling awkward, he responded, "You're not helping yourself cheeks."

"So does that mean you'll join us?"

He shoved his hands deeper into his pockets. Why was it so hot all of the sudden? His chest warmed and his heart rate jumped.

"Who's us?"

"Me, Mina, Kirishima, Tooru, Kyoka, Kaminari, Tsu, and Sero. We invited Koda and Shoji but Koda doesn't like horror movies and Shoji said he was doing some training with Tokoyami tonight. Deku and Iida both declined as they're going to visit Iida's family. Yaomomo and Todoroki said they're doing some grocery shopping tonight, but I don't really get why… And we haven't asked the rest of the class yet."

Bakugou took a moment to responded. He stared down at her, causing her to fidget with the hem of her tank top.

"So I'm the last to get asked?"

"No! I-I just thought you really wouldn't be into it so I thought I should ask you after we already had a group together…"

"Because I love hanging in groups right?"

"No, Bakugou, that's not what I'm saying—"

"Forget it cheeks, I'm going to bed."

Before she could reach for him again, Bakugou waved his hand towards her and headed down the hall to his room.

Eight twenty-two and he was wide awake. His hall was quiet, too quiet. Around this time on the weekend he'd usually hear Kirishima making a racket in his room or his idiotic classmates' voices coming through the vents as they played hide-and-go-seek. He thought it was pretty juvenile for a bunch of third years to play such childish games, but he figured the innocence was a nice respite from the constant life-threatening dangers they faced outside of the comfort of the dorm.

Normally he enjoyed the quiet, it allowed him to focus and think clearly. Tonight the quiet goaded him into thinking about the only person who consumed his thoughts after dark, Uraraka. If this was two years ago when he was still a bratty first year who had dreams of becoming the number one hero, his thoughts would be filled with battles and victory. Back then, the only person who consumed his mind as much was that damn nerd, Deku—but for very different reasons. Now, all he could think about was Uraraka, and not in the most innocent ways. His thoughts of her ran the gambit from simple conversations to her panting beneath him, calling out his name. Those were his favorite nights, but he also had the groggiest mornings afterwards.

Tonight wasn't easy. He couldn't fall asleep and the longer he lay awake the angrier he became. Why couldn't she have invited him first? Why did they need so many damn extras around them? Did she hate him that much? Could she not stand to be around him? He thought they got along pretty well. Yeah, he was gruff and short with everybody, but he thought it bothered her least of all. She never seemed to care when he was in his sourest moods. She would still invite him to join her conversations or make offhanded remarks at him. She even complimented him on his cooking!

"Dammit!"

Throwing the covers off his body, Bakugou stormed out of his room, down the hall to the elevator, and angrily stalked his way into the common area. It was nearly pitch dark, the movie on the large television provided the only light. Gathered around the screen was a group smaller than he expected. Kirishima and Raccoon Eyes were huddle together under a blanket on one end of the sofa. Sero had a bowl of popcorn sitting in his lap in front of the other end of the sofa. It was hard to tell if he was eating the popcorn alone or if the invisible girl was somewhere near him. Either he was a really messy eater, or she was clumsily dropping popcorn in his lap. The frog girl had the little grape boy firmly grasped in her lap. The look in his eye said he rather be anywhere else, preferably spying on the Class 3-B girls probably. Pervert. Dunce Face and Jiro sat a little behind everyone. The blanket covering them moved every so often and Jiro had the strangest look on her face…

"Oi, where's Uraraka?"

Kaminari and Jiro jumped apart at his sudden arrival, but only Kirishima and Mina acknowledged his presence.

"Hey dude, put a shirt on."

Mina giggled, "Yeah no one down here cares to see all that."

Bakugou snarled, "I didn't come down here for you damned extras anyway, where the hell is Uraraka?!"

Someone from in front of the couch shushed him, "She's not here. Chako hates these movies." It was the invisible girl.

Sero snickered, "Figures he'd walk around shirtless looking for her."

"I'll blast you all to hell if—"

"Chill out man, she never joined us." Kaminari adjusted himself under the blanket away from Jiro.

"Yeah, she said she was going to bed early tonight," Jiro offered.

"Kind of figured she was with you," Mina giggled.

Tooru and Mina laughed together. Bakugou let out a few sparks from both his palms ready to make good on his promise. Sensing things were about to go too far, Kirishima jumped up and pushed Bakugou away from the group with his hand on his shoulder. He pushed Bakugou away until they were out of earshot.

"Hey man, is everything cool? I know Uraraka asked you to watch the movie with us… I figured it was a good sign that neither of you showed up."

"Good sign of what jackass?!"

"I don't know, maybe that you two were spending time together alone…without everyone y'know."

"And why the hell would we do that?"

Kirishima looked confused for a moment. "Because you like her—"

"Whaaaaa—"

"—and she likes you. Everyone knows it except you…moron," Kirishima smiled.

"Shitty Hair I don't know what the fuck you're blabbering about, but you better—"

Kirishima put his hand up to stop his friend, "Listen man, I really don't have the time to go back and forth with you right now. Mina's waiting on me," Kirishima motioned over to the sofa. Mina hung over the back of the couch looking exasperatedly at the two of them. She pointed at Kirishima then pointed at the spot next to her. "I'm going back to her man, you go find Uraraka. I think she's in her room." Kirishima wiggled his eyebrows at his friend and before Bakugou could react he was jumping over the couch next to Mina.

"Tch, whatever."

Bakugou stalked away. He rode the elevator up to his floor heading for his room. He paused when he got to the entrance to the boys' side of the floor and glanced over his shoulder to the girls' side. Before his indecisiveness could make him angrier than he already was, he shoved his hands deeper into his pockets and headed for Uraraka's room.

The girl's side of the floor was always darker than his since only Uraraka and Ashido occupied the area. Admittedly, he'd only been to this side of the floor once and it wasn't for Uraraka. Not too long after Kirishima and Ashido officially began dating, he had to collect his best friend from her room before daybreak came. Aizawa was prone to make surprise inspections on the dorm and Bakugou had a feeling with all the new couples happening and hormones ragging, their pseudo caretaker would show up that morning. He was right about the inspection, but wrong about when. Unbeknown to the students, Aizawa had made nightly rounds to the boys' room. Needless to say, Kirishima was caught suspiciously missing from his room. Todoroki and Kaminari too actually. The next morning only Kirishima, Todoroki, Kaminari, Mineta, and Bakugou knew why they were doing extra laps around the entire UA campus before and after lessons. Kirishima, Todoroki, and Kaminari for obvious reasons, Mineta for trying to spy on the Class B girls, and Bakugou for trying to be a good friend. It was the last time he did that shit. It was also then he vowed to never set foot on the girls' side of the floor again.

Yet here we were. Bakugou hesitated outside of Uraraka's door. He rocked back and forth on his heels unsure of what to do next. Hands shoved even deeper into his pockets and infuriated with himself, he turned to walk away from her door when Uraraka opened it and stood before him. Both surprised to see the other.

Uraraka stared. Bakugou stared.

"Wh-wh-what are you doing out here," she sputtered.

For once in his life, Bakugou didn't have a sarcastic retort. He didn't have any retort for that matter. He simply stood there staring at the girl he couldn't keep off his mind.

She was wrapped in a fluffy white towel, hair in a messy bun upon her head, and pink fluffy slippers on her feet. She looked at him from head to toe. As her eyes traveled back up they stopped at the top of his sweats where they rested dangerously low on his hips. Unbeknownst to Bakugou, she could see little blonde hairs peeking from beneath them. Uraraka blushed and took a step back into her room.

She gulped, "Uh Bakugou, why are you here…?"

His mouth was cotton dry, but his body was slick with fresh sweat. He couldn't determine which was more painful, his heart thundering in his chest or his growing erection.

"Dammit cheeks, I—"

He was cut off when she pressed her mouth to his. He was stunned for a moment, shocked at her sudden bold movement and because she was finally doing what he was too cowardly to do for the past two years.

He regained most of his senses when she pressed her curvy frame into his angular one. She deepened the kiss and in turn he wrapped his arms around her body, loosing all thoughts in the processes. His mind became fuzzier as her sweet aroma wafted into his nostrils. She smelled of gingerbread and fresh soap.

Her lips were soft against his. Forgetting the towel, she tangled her hands in his messy shock of hair. She was pressed so tight against him that the towel didn't drop completely. The side of her breasts were flush against his chest. His body ached in response and he moaned into her mouth. She bit his lip and he stumbled into her, pushing them into her room. His instincts reminded him to kick the door shut behind them.

Safe within her room, Uraraka let the towel fall completely. Free of all restrictions, Bakugou grabbed at the swell of her butt and lifted her legs until she wrapped them around his waist. His sweats were halfway down his thighs now. He felt her slick entrance glide just over his erection and kiss him below his navel. He nearly lost him mind and threw her onto the bed.

"Urarka, I didn't come here for this—"

She shut him up with another kiss. "What?"

He could only groan. Trying to keep his balance as best he could, Bakugou walked until he bumped against the edge of her bed. The sudden contact made them both pause. What happened next was crucial and would change everything between them. Slowly breaking the kiss, Bakugou gently lowered Uraraka onto the bed. Dazed, he stared down at her, waiting for her instruction.

"…We shouldn't do this…"

He snapped back to reality. "What?"

For a moment she just stared up at him. She took a breath and bowed her head for clarity. Realizing her state of undress and just how vulnerable she was, Uraraka became flustered and grabbed for her covers. Once she was enveloped in her sheets, all bare skin a secret to him once more, she looked back up at him. Her hair had come undone and her eyes were partially hidden.

"We shouldn't do this. Not right now at least…"

"Uh…yeah, sure." His mouth became dry once more, but instead of being impossibly hot he was now cold and frozen stiff.

Neither of them made a move.

A giggle came from the hallway. Both Bakugou and Uraraka jumped, remembering their predicament. There was another giggle and a masculine voice responding. Then a door slammed shut.

"That must of been…"

"Yeah, uh Uraraka I didn't mean to…"

"Have you ever been at a loss for words before Bakugou," she teased.

"…Yeah, whenever I'm around you."

Uraraka's smile dropped. She looked away from him and clutched her sheets tighter.

Taking that as a sign of rejection, Bakugou readjusted his sweats, trying to hide his still ready erection as best he could, and backed away from the bed.

"Sorry—"

"No, don't apologize!" Uraraka slid off the bed and moved to stand in front of Bakugou. She adjusted the sheets so that they formed a sort of toga around her body. Bakugou had to fight to keep his eyes trained on her face and his hands away from her curves. Instinctively, he shoved his hands back into his pockets and took a step back from her.

"I don't know what to say when I'm around you either."

Bakugou raised a single eyebrow, "Huh?"

Uraraka let out a short laugh, "Yeah, I get tongue tied around you and nervous…I used to get that way around Deku and I didn't want…"

At the mention of his friend turned rival turned sort of friend and rival, Bakugou visibly tensed. Uraraka shot out a hand that was holding her toga together to grab his wrist. Without meaning to she stepped forward which caused her gown to completely open and flow to her side. Bakugou reached for the fallen garment and attempted to wrap her in it once more. The proximity to one another brought back their previous devious ministrations causing them to both blush and step away once her sheets were fixed.

"Listen cheeks, I'm not that damned nerd, so whatever you felt for him don't put that shit on me."

"I wasn't saying that Bakugou. What I'm trying to say is that I don't want to be that girl who is more focused on a crush than her goals. I had similar feelings for Deku, but I had to put them away because I couldn't admire Deku and still reach for my goals…I felt like I would never reach my full potential following behind him."

"And so that's how you feel about me huh?"

Uraraka goraned, "Ugh, no! What I'm saying is that's how I felt with Deku, but with you it's different. I can still like you and reach for my goals. Instead of following behind you, you challenge me to be better. You see me for the hero that I want to be and in your own way you push me there…You—"

"Are."

"Huh?"

"The hero you already are."

Uraraka smiled. "See, that's what I mean. You never took it easy on me. You respected my quirk when other people thought I would only be able to do rescue work. You kicked my ass in the first sports festival and didn't hold back. You challenge me to go harder everyday. You see me for who I am. I'm not fragile in your eyes.

"Tch, you damn right."

Uraraka giggled. She stepped closer to Bakugou and placed her palm against his cheek. She turned his head so that he was looking at her square in her eyes. Once she had his full attention she pressed a chaste kiss to his lips.

"I like you a lot, but I want to take things slow."

Bakugou nodded dumbly.

There was a crash from the room next door then more giggling.

Bakugou let out an exasperated breath and Uraraka laughed freely.

"I think you should collect Kirishima before Aizawa-Sensei has you guys running laps around UA again."

"No, he said next time it'll be around Tokyo proper…without our quirks."

Uraraka started to laugh until she saw the unaffected look on his face. "Oh."

Bakugou sighed and looked at Uraraka, "I think it would be worth it though."

She blushed and smiled. She walked Bakugou to her door, making sure he was as presentable as possible before sending him out into the hall. As modest as he could be in only sweats and a not-all-the-way-gone erection, Bakugou took a deep breath and stepped into the girls' hallway. Before walking away Uraraka gave a quick peck to his cheek then promptly shut the door.

Feeling like he'd just became the number one hero, Bakugou damn near skipped to Ashido's door. Once in front of the glaringly pink entrance, really when did she have the time to do this, he knocked as loudly and lowly as he could as to not get caught.

"Oi Shitty Hair, we have to go!"

After about a minute of giggling and shuffling, Kirishima was shoved outside the room. Without even a glance of Ashido, the door was immediately slammed shut and Bakugou was left with a very satisfied looking Kirishima. It was only because of his good mood he wasn't so annoyed by his friend.

The two heroes in training waltzed back to the boys side of the floor. There they came face to face with a very pissed Aizawa-Sensei. Bakugou couldn't muster up the emotion to feign regret.

Very early the next morning, Bakugou, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Todoroki were all ready at their markers, ready to start their laps around Tokyo.
