Chapter 4: Settling In
Death continued, "We will be starting these magic classes tomorrow, and today at eight p.m there will be a welcoming party so I expect all of you to come. That will be all, Tootles!"
As the students disbanded to go to their classes, Maka runs after the mages and Soul follows her.
"Hey what are you guys doing here?" Maka questions the five fellow mages.
"Oh hello again Maka and Soul, I knew we would see you here. To answer your question, our mission changed to guiding the students at the DWMA the ways of magic!" Erza declared.
"So you should be seeing us around here more often," Grey added.
"And at the party!" Lucy chimed in with a wink.
"Right an-" Maka started until she was interrupted by Soul dragging her by the collar of her cloak.
"Wait! I wasn't done talking! Souull!" she yelled
"Sorry guys, we should probably get going if we want to get to class on time," he called out to the mages and as a reminder to Maka.
They all laughed at the scene and began to walk back to their respective homes that Death gave them for the duration they'll be staying in Death City.
As Lucy puts in the key to open the lock of Natsu, Happy, and her new home Happy peers over Lucy and tells her, "Wow Lucy, you sure are lucky that you're staying with us. Who knows what kind of crazy things she'd make you do!"
"Well that's only because you reminded him that Natsu and I are a couple. And it wouldn't be bad to room with her." She defends and finally unlocks the door.
Meanwhile with Erza, Wendy, and Carla…
"Wow! This place is wonderful! Don't you think so Carla?" Wendy askes as she admires the new place.
Carla nods and continues to fly around their new home.
"And what about you Er...za?" Wendy sweatdrops at the sight of Erza extremely inspecting the sight of the television, wondering what kind of lacrima or magic it's made out of.
With Lucy, Natsu, and Happy
"Ahhhugh! It's gonna suck having to share this room with Levy & Gajeel while Grey gets to have his house all to himself!" Natsu complains.
"He's going to share it with Juvia. Don't you remember anything Death said?" Happy reminded his partner.
"No, not really but I do remember the guy saying that these houses are fully furnished!" He beamed and ran over to the refrigerator along with Happy who both eagerly opened the door handle to find it…well empty.
"He said fully furnished, not fully stocked with food you morons!" Lucy chided while rubbing her temples.
The Fairy Tail mages are going to have to do some serious shopping.
