The boys arrive at the spaceship, they are greeted by John. John tells them about the backstory of the book, he says the book was in space it was once ordinary book, Fred asks how did it get it's powers, he tells them a laser hit it and everything changed. John explains that he sent the book to a safe location as he seen three boys, he mentions that the book was meant for Sam, Joe becomes surprised that the book wasn't meant for him. Sam is shocked but doesn't mind knowing that Joe is great with the book.
