After school Rose, Cory, Gaz, Mandy, Dib, and Billy all walked home together.
"The pageant is tomorrow. Are you guys ready?" Dib smirked at Gaz and Cory.
"Shut up Dib. I hate all this girly pretty pageant show. But if we're beating Jessica and Mindy then I'll do it." Gaz replied.
"I agree with Gaz." Cory nodded. Soon everyone went home and it was the next day after school where the pageant was starting in 20 minutes, and all the girls were getting ready.
"Should I get Crabina?" Grim asked. Nobody knew who that was except for Grim, Billy, and Mandy.
"No Grim, there's a bunch of girls here who are like makeover artists." Mandy said. Suddenly, a teenage girl with white skin and long, purple hair in curls popped up.
"Like me! I will do your makeup, Gaz and Cory." She said.
"Who are you?" Everyone asked.
"I'm Rarity, the school's most popular makeup artist, hair stylist, and fashionista! I saw what happened to Mandy at the Little Miss Scurvy Pageant, and darlings, I'm not letting that happen to you two." Rarity said to the girls. "Now let's get started!" She said and put the girls in chairs and began to give them a makeover for the first round.
Soon, Rarity was done. Gaz's hair was in short pigtails, and she was wearing a big, light purple dress that covered her shoes. Her shoes were light purple high heels, and her lipstick was hot pink. "Yuck!" Gaz frowned.
Soon after, Cory was done. Cory's hair looked more shiny and wavy. Her dress was pink with a hot pink bow tied around in the back. Her shoes were pink high heels and she had pink lipstick. Cory frowned as she looked at her outfit.
"Round one is about to start. Let's go, Cory." Gaz said. Cory nodded.
All the girls went on stage for the first round which was pretty outfits. Some of the kids and goth girls new Gaz and saw her on the stage and cringed. Mindy and Jessica were trying to act like they were the best and they were blowing kisses at the audience. Cory rolled her eyes. The judges wrote down their points and soon the girls walked backstage.
