The Golden Trio were having a meeting in the Longbottom Manor about their visit to Azkaban.
'Harry was seriously angry at us and wasn't even ready to listen to us, we will have to find another way to figure out what Greengrass is planning that requires hours of talking with him daily' said Neville.
'But how, Harry isn't gonna tell us neither will Greengrass or Andromeda' said Ron.
'We should ask someone from our side to spy on their next meeting, maybe that guard' said Hermione.
'I can try to ask him' replied the Neville.
Susan Bones was very happy with her work so far. She called meeting of an alliance to tell them about it.
After everyone arrived she started.
"Aunt Amelia managed to arrange a trial for Harry Potter, she was disappointed in me at first because she thought her niece was trying to use her to arrange a trial for someone but after I told her everything she agreed to help her in arranging the trial and did understood why I contacted her and not followed a proper protocol but she hasn't promised any favours in the trial itself, like we would need with what Mrs Thinks and Daphne has come up with, I have just asked her to keep it quiet which she has readily agreed" she told them happily.
"That's wonderful news Susan" said Daphne.
"Yeah but when is the trial" asked Andy.
"After 3 days, Aunt said it would be best to arrange it as soon as possible because Longbottom has too much influence and if he got the wind of it he will stop it from happening, she also think he has some of his people posted at Azkaban and may know about Daphne visiting Harry, So it would be best if we don't move him till the day of trial" said Susan.
"She is right, but it means Daphne and Mrs Tonks shouldn't visit Potter anymore either. He is quiet right now means he doesn't have any idea about your meetings or maybe he is trying to find out why you are meeting him, so it would be best if we don't taste our luck" said Blaise.
"Blaise is right, Potter has so many things so I am sure he can survive 3 more days in Azkaban" added Tracy when she saw the conflicted emotions in Daphne's eyes.
"OK so we wait for three days now "Daphne said signalling the end of the meeting.
Harry was again feeling frustrated and betrayed as he hadn't got any news from both Daphne and Andromeda for the past three days and was feeling very angry with himself for trusting them so easily when the guard interrupted him. He again felt hopeful that they have come to visit him.
"What happened" he asked the guard hopefully.
"You are called in front of Wizengamot, stand back and let me apply the cuffs before you are portkeyed their" the guard said.
Before the Wizengamot, did they arranged the trial so soon no that would be impossible so why are they calling him. He decided to go with it as it couldn't be worse than this and hopefully he would get some answers about what Greengrass is doing.
Neville Longbottom was surprised to find a summon for an emergency meeting of the Wizengamot. What is this meeting about, the light alliance has not called it he was sure of that as they wouldn't even breath without him knowing, must be those dark bastards trying to catch him by surprise and pass some laws. Well he wasn't going to allow that, with that thought he left.
The same thought was going through other two member of the golden trio.
Daphne Greengrass arrived at the trial a few minutes before it began and and went directly to Andromeda Tonks.
"Are you ready for the trial Mrs Tonks" asked Daphne.
"Yes Lady Greengrass don't worry Everything will go according to the plan" replied Andy.
Daphne nodded in return and entered the Wizengamot. After a few minutes Madame Marchbanks the current chief warlock who has retired from her duties as Head of WEA(Wizarding Examination Authority) announced the closing of the Door.
"This is an emergency meeting of Wizengamot called by Director Bones for a trial, I paas the charge to Director Bones for further proceeding, Director Bones if you may explain what was the matter which couldn't have waited for the next Wizengamot meeting"
"Chief Witch, it came to my notice yesterday evening that not one but two of the Most Ancient and Noble House are wronged by this Committee one of which has been wronged second time that's why I couldn't in my good conscience bring myself to wait for the next Wizengamot meeting my Lady" said Director Bones.
"If that's the case then you did the good thing by calling this meeting but can you please elaborate what you said Director Bones" said chief Witch.
"An heir of two Most Ancient and Noble House was sentenced to Azkaban unfairly and without even getting a chance to defend himself and yesterday new evidence were brought to myself by someone which proves that there is a chance that he may as well be innocent " said Director Bones
Many people were speaking loudly at this. A heir of Two Most Ancient and Noble House sentenced to Azkaban without a proper trial and with chances of him being innocent was certainly a big deal.
"Who is this heir you are talking about Director Bones" asked the chief witch.
"Harry James Potter Heir to the Most Ancient and Noble House of Potter and Black" said Director Bones and the public has gone wild on hearing that name.
"This is ridiculous Chief Witch, However Potter has had his trial and was sentenced to Azkaban by this body, this is just waste of time" said Lord Nott.
"I second that Chief Witch " said Lord Smith at the nod of Lord Longbottom.
Most people were surprised that both factions were agreeing at something.
"That's true Director Bones, So can you explain why we are having this trial again" said Chief Witch Madame Marchbanks.
"It would be better if the attorney for the defendant explains it" said Director Bones.
"If you say so please call her Director Bones" chief witch ordered.
With that Andromeda Told entered the Wizengamot and announced herself. "Attorney for the defendant Andromeda Druella Tonks"
Most people were shocked to see her representing Harry Potter as she was one of the best attorney before she quitted due to family requirements.
"You may present your case Mrs Tonks" said Chief Witch.
"Thank you Chief Witch, As Lord Nott said my client already had a trial of which he was informed approx an hour before and not to forget the trial happened just a day after one of the most tiring day of his life, the day he defeated a Dark Lord who has declared him his mortal enemy and didn't even got a chance to represent himself, what I'm saying my lady is that my client was in no condition for that trial that day and his mental condition wasn't best either and neither he got to arrange am attorney for himself, So I'm just asking for this body to give him a fair trial which is right of every citizen and has already been denied to one of the member of his house so I request this body to not repeat the same mistake again" said Andromeda.
"What do you mean by saying that denied to one member of his house Mrs Tonks, who didn't got a fair trial" asked Chief Witch.
"My clients Godfather Sirius Black but that's a different matter but I would request for this body to not make a habit of denying the heirs of House of Blacks of a trial" Most people could see where this was going and were impressed with her. No one in their right mind would deny an heir of House Black for a trial.
"Alright bring in the accused" ordered Chief Witch Madame Marchbanks.
Two aurors brought Harry Potter in the Wizengamot and Andy spoke to him before the trial could began "Let me do all the talking and don't speak unless I say so". Harry just nodded.
Percy Weasely started reading the charges on him.
"Harry Potter is accused of multiple charges which are as follows : use of unforgivables on multiple occasions, breaking into Gringotts and stealing from a high security vault, breaking into Malfoy Manor and stealing the Wands of the residents, the accused was given a lighter sentence due to his involvement in ending the war and was sentenced to Life in Azkaban instead of Death Penalty as asked by many people" finished Percy.
"How does the accused plead for all this charges" asked Chief Witch Madame Marchbanks.
Andromeda Tonks replied before Harry could speak anything "My client accept that ge has done most of the things said there as he had accepted in the previous trial but he want to explain himself, Let's begin with breaking into Gringotts, the Goblins have forgiven my client for that charge due to the fact that one of their own has helped my client in breaking and also due to the nature of the item he stole".
This was a shocker for most people as Goblins weren't known for forgiveness.
"What was the item that was stolen from Gringotts Mrs Tonks" asked Chief Witch.
"L will explain about it later Chief Witch, First I want to talk about all the charges". Chief Witch just nodded her to continue.
"Next charge is Breaking into Malfoy Manor and stealing their wands which is a lie as my client did stole his wand but he didn't broke their but was kidnapped by Greyback of which incident my client can offer the memory which I would like for an unspeakable to check for any fabrication first" said Andromeda and removed a memory from her backpack and passed it to an Unspeakable.
An Unspeakable waved his wand and confirmed that the memory was actually real and not fabricated. After which the memory was played in the Wizengamot and it showed the complete incident from him accidentally speaking speaking Dark Lord's name to their escape by the help of Dobby.
After the memory ended Andromeda continued "As it was clear from the memory my client was kidnapped and did what was necessary for their survival he can not be charged on this account".
"Yes we can count that as an act of self defense but that still leave one charge" said Chief Witch Madame Marchbanks.
"Yes, I remember Chief Witch, but before that can we have a few moments of privacy with my client as there are some things I need his permission before I can share" said Andromeda.
"You have 15 minutes Mrs Tonks" said Chief Witch.
After Andy asked for break Harry said "What do you need my permission for Mrs Tonks".
"I need to reveal about the Horcrux Harry, So I decided to ask you first" replied Andy.
"You can do that, if you think it would be helpful and Thank-you Mrs Tonks you have done great so far" said Harry
After the break was announced the members of Golden Trio were together discussing the meeting so far.
"What the Fuck is going on Hermione, how come we never got the wind of it " asked Ron who along with Hermione were attending the meeting due to the Order of Merlin they received at the end of the war.
"They played us well, but still we can hope that he will be prosecuted for the use of unforgivable, but if he managed to prove his innocence than vote for his innocence because voting against him would be a disaster if he got out so vote for his innocence if she managed to prove his use of unforgivable was acceptable, then we will try to be his friends again and will become the hero again in the eyes of the wizarding world" said Hermione.
"That's a good plan, but What if he didn't forgive us" said Neville.
"He will, he is too noble to do that" said Ron.
With that a happy Golden Trio returned for the rest of the trial.
"So Mrs Tonks, how are planning to defend the use of unforgivables by your client " asked Chief Witch Madame Marchbanks.
"For that you need to understand how Dark Lord survived on the Halloween of 1981 first"
said Andromeda.
"And how was that Mrs Tonks because all we know is Dark Lord was immortal until your client defeated him" replied Chief Witch.
"I too am very interested in knowing that Mrs Tonks " said Head of Department of Mystery.
"Well this Memory will help you, Unspeakable Croaker if you may " she asked removing a memory After checking and confirming that the memory was indeed real and not fabricated they all saw As Harry and Dumbledore saw the memory of Slughorn and discuss the Horcruxes and what they could be.
The unspeakable was shocked to see that the Dark Lord would go that far to secure immortality.
"That was enlightening but how does that affect the case Mrs Tonks" asked Chief Witch.
"Before that I would like to ask Unspeakable to explain what would happen when an Horcrux come into contact with an human being" asked Mrs Tonks.
"It would try to posses him or manipulate his thoughts" replied the unspeakable.
"Yes and that's what happened with my client Chief Witch, you see Dumbledore withheld some important information about the Horcrux from my client too, Dark Lord has made not 6 but seven Horcrux and last Horcrux was the famous scar of my client" she said.
A/N4: Next chapter will be the trials Result and another interaction between Harry and The Golden Trio and maybe Harry's meeting with the alliance.
