Finn looks at the clock on his bed side table. It's almost 12 midnight and he is still on Skype with Rachel. They have already picked what she was going to wear tomorrow and no animal sweaters, thank you very much.

They have been talking for more than three hours now. Seriously, does this girl ever get tired of talking? At first, they were simply discussing the game plan for tomorrow on how she would get Puck's attention. It started getting tiring, hearing her talk about Puck endlessly so he tried to change the subject to her favorite Music.

It seemed to work because then she started talking about Barbra Streisand. Apparently, that's all she knows about. It was easy pretending to listen to her since she doesn't seem to know how to shut up. He just nods and smiles whenever there's a pause in her speech which seemed to satisfy her and then she would go on again.

When she was done discussing Barbra's entire discography and personal life (seriously, it was like she wrote Barbra Streisand's wikipedia page), she then discusses to him her long-term plans on how she will become a star, just like her idol, of course.

Then she goes quiet for all of three seconds.

"Would you like to hear me sing?" Rachel asks shyly looking away from her laptop.

This seems to actually get Finn's attention. He thought it would be nice and if she's into all that Glee and theater stuff then she can't be that bad. It would be better than hearing about Barbra or Puck so he then nods.

She mumbles an "okay" and clears her throat. She starts humming at first and Finn closes his eyes enjoying the melodic sound of the gentle hum.

Close your eyes/ Give me your hand, darling/ Do you feel my heart beating/ Do you understand/ Do you feel the same/ Am I only dreaming

Holy shit. Is he hearing an angel? Is he dead? He must be, right? He starts pinching himself thinking he might have fallen asleep or something. She continues to sing and he can literally feel her voice somewhat enveloping him in a hug and it fills him with such warmth.

And suddenly, there's a gentle tug in his heart and he can't explain it but it literally started beating faster. He closes his eyes basking in the warmth that her voice brought him. He almost feels sad that the song has to end.

Rachel sings the last line and waits for Finn to say something. She has performed countless songs for her Dads, for her MySpace videos, for an audience but she's never sung a song just for a friend before and she must admit that it's more nerve-wracking than performing in front of many people.

But Finn doesn't say anything. He's just sort of staring at her. He probably didn't even listen. Hah. Who is she kidding, anyway. Finn is only here because she blackmailed him. Yep, that's the only way you can get friends, Rachel. It's almost midnight anyway so he must be tired.

"Well, Finn, it's getting la-"

"You have an amazing voice," Finn interjects which caught her off guard.

"Well, thank you," she replies blushing. Hopefully, her computer camera won't give much away.

"No, seriously. It's amazing and you are probably the most talented person I have ever met."

She doesn't know what to say to that because she's honestly not used to receiving compliments that are not from her parents. She never knew how nice it felt. Wow.

She beams at him. "When I make it big one day, I promise not to forget you," she says with conviction. "I'll save you front row seats for my Broadway debut."

Finn did her signature lopsided smile that made Rachel weak in the knees as he replied, "I'd love that."

Rachel went to sleep that night with Finn's smile etched in her brain.

The next day, Finn receives a text from Quinn asking him to meet her at the bleachers during lunch. He doesn't know what to feel about that. On one hand, he's glad to know she's actually alive and on the other hand, he is absolutely dreading to talk to her because he doesn't know what she will say.

As someone who grew up without a father, he doesn't want his future kid to experience the same thing he went through. He wants to be there but he's not sure he is ready to take such responsibility.

All morning, he walks around school like a lifeless Zombie going from classroom to classroom without really acknowledging anyone because he can't think about anything but Quinn and the baby.

It's almost lunch and he sees Rachel approaching him but he just wasn't in the mood for chatter and he knows that's all she was gonna do, talk his ears off. He walks towards the opposite direction to avoid her and heads straight out to the field.

He sees her before she sees him. Quinn was standing there still in her cheerleading uniform. He's staring at her stomach as he walks, wondering when the bump will start showing.

"Quinn, you've got me worried sick," Finn says in greeting and before he could say anything else, Quinn looks him in the eyes, with tears in her own and says, "I'm not pregnant, Finn."

He doesn't know whether he should feel heartbroken or relieved.

"It was a false alarm. I went to the Doctor and they said I wasn't."

Quinn starts crying into his shoulders and he soothingly rubs circles in her back to comfort her. "This is good, right? It wasn't like we were ready." He says in an attempt to help keep her crying at bay. "Is that why you have been missing these past few days?"

Quinn pulls back from their position and wipes her tears away. She gives him a small nod. "No, I know. I was just really scared and now I'm just-"

She couldn't even finish the sentence before the tears were threatening to drop again.

"It's okay," Finn says hugging her again because it's the only thing he can do. "If you had told me you were going to the Doctor, I would have come with you." Quinn just slowly nods and barely says, "I know."

They stayed like that for a few more minutes, with Quinn in Finn's arms but it wasn't long before Quinn finally collects herself. She still got cheer practice and she knows Sue will kill her if she doesn't show up again. She thanks Finn and kisses him on the lips.

She's already walking away from him as she says, "I'll see you later, okay?" She starts jogging away from him and it amazes Finn how girls switch moods so quickly.

It didn't fully sink into Finn's brain that he's not actually going to have a baby until he was sat on his car later that day and he finally had a chance to process everything. He thinks about his Mom and how glad he is that he chose not to tell her yet or anyone else for that matter. It would have caused unnecessary drama.

Suddenly, it dawns on him. Quinn's not pregnant. That means Kurt can't hold that against him. That means-

Something has changed within me/ Something is not the same/I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game/Too late for second guessing/Too late to go back to sleep

That damned ring tone again!

He grabs his phone from his pocket and answers. Before he could get a word in, he hears Rachel's voice immediately asking where he is. He tells her he's at the school parking lot.

He hears a knock on his car window and he almost screams when he sees Rachel on the other side.

"Can I come in?" she says on the phone while smiling.

He resists the urge to sarcastically ask her if he really had a choice.

Rachel hears the car unlocking. She pulls the passenger door open and gets inside.

"I didn't see you the whole day," she says while idly twiddling her fingers. "I wanted to talk to you."

Finn chuckles a bit, "Didn't we already spend all night doing that?"

She looks up at him tentatively gauging his facial expression, looking to see if there's any hint of annoyance, and when she saw none, she continued. "Well, this is kind of different. Something happened."

This piques Finn's curiosity. "What?"

This time she looks up at him and a smile slowly creeps up her face. "Noah asked me out!" She announces excitedly.

"I'm sorry, what? I could have sworn you just said Puck asked you out," Finn says not believing it.

He knows Puck. He's been friends with him for years. Although, he knows he is helping Rachel get his attention but he knows that Rachel isn't his type and he would never ask her out unless there was an ulterior motive.

"He did!" Rachel happily recounts to Finn how it happened. She was just by her locker organizing the things she needs for her next subject and all of a sudden Puck is right there with a blueberry slushy. "At first I thought he was going to slushy me," she says disgustingly. "But he simply offered the drink to me and asked me if I wanted to go out sometimes."

Finn starts to tune her out because this all sounds very suspicious to him. He needs to go get to the bottom of this and ask Puck himself.

"Let's go, Finn!" Rachel screams excitedly at him.

"What?" He asks confused once again.

"I said let's go!"

"To where?"

"To my place, silly."

Finn has absolutely no idea what he just agreed to. He figured he just kept nodding to her while tuning out and now he's stuck helping her with whatever thing she needs help with. Again. Jesus Christ. Finn hopes against all hopes that he'll at least have fun this time as he drives off.

Rachel has taken it upon herself to be in-charge of the aux cord. She grabs her phone and connects it to Finn's car. At first he thought, she was going to play show tunes but when he hears the familiar tune of Bon Jovi's It's My Life, he looks at Rachel surprisingly.

"You listen to them?"

Rachel gives him a sly grin. "Of course! I would never limit myself to only one musical genre. As someone who aspires to be a famous singer one day, it would be foolish to not have a wide variety of music in my repertoire."

A few more classic rock songs and some show tunes after, they arrive at her house.

"Would you like to have a snack first before we go upstairs?" Rachel asks him.

As if on cue, Finn hears his stomach grumbling and they both laugh. "You read my mind."

Inside the house, Rachel brings out this banana bread that looks so delicious. "I baked some this morning."

She cuts him a piece but Rachel realizes soon after he's asked for the third slice that she shouldn't have bothered since he has finished most of it anyway.

Finn thinks this is the most delicious banana bread he has ever tasted. If there's anything he has learned, it's that this girl CAN definitely bake. First, the cookies, then the banana bread. If this is what he gets everytime he helps her, then he wouldn't mind at all anymore.

Rachel waits until he finishes the last bite and then holds him by his arm and leads him up the stairs to her bedroom. When they finally get inside, Rachel reaches up his shoulders and makes him sit down her bed and all of a sudden she's a ball of nerves walking back and forth in front of him.

"Hey, what's up? What's wrong?"

She continues pacing. "I'm just really nervous and I don't want to mess it up. I get one chance on a date with Noah and if I blow it, I'll never be able to forgive myself."

Finn snorts at that because if she BLOWS it, he'll probably ask her on another date. If you get his drift.

He stands up, and slowly walks over to Rachel, trying to comfort her by rubbing her arms and lightly touching her shoulders. He knows this calms her down from the first time he did it.

"Relax, Rach." The nickname easily falls on his lips. "You're not gonna mess this up." When she still doens't look convinced, he adds "I promise. I'll help you."

Rachel relaxes a bit from Finn's efforts and leans into him. "Are you going to give me all the intel you have on him like you promised and help me not screw this up?"

At this point, Rachel is practically in Finn's arms. "Yes, okay?" He says soothingly. "Besides, knowing Puck, he's probably just gonna want to make out with you for the entire date."

Finn doesn't know why he suddenly feels the need to puke after imagining Puck and Rachel kissing.

Rachel looks up at him from her position and he can see her eyes light up. "Really? And you'll help me, right?"

"Help you with what?"

Rachel bites her lip and thinks this will probably make or break the friendship she had formed with the school Quarterback, but she needs all the help she can get and hopefully, he doesn't find her so repulsive to say no.

"Well, like you said, Noah is gonna want to make out and I just," She bites her lip again trying to think of a way to sugarcoat things. "Please don't judge me."

"I won't. I promise." Rachel leads him to the bed again sit down and she sits beside him.

"I'm 16 and I have never really kissed anyone before. The accidental one we had doesn't count because well, it's accidental." Rachel looks down in shame. "I'm just really scared that I'm not going to be good at it and Noah is not gonna like it and then he'll leave me right there and then."

Finn feels bad. He doesn't like seeing her all sad. He holds her chin and makes her look in his direction before talking. "Hey. I have known Puck since we were kids. I'll tell you everything you need to know."

Rachel looks at him in the eye and finally asks the question, "Will you practice with me?"

"Practice what? Going on a date?" For some reason, Finn thinks it would actually be fun.

Rachel gets up off the bed again, not really wanting to see if he ever get a disgusted look when she asks what she needs practice with.

"Practicemakingout," she says quickly and almost inaudibly while biting her nails.

She knows this is the only way she will get good at kissing, by practicing and who else with than her new best gay? He's not in a relationship with anyone so no one will get mad and he's not attracted to her in that way so in her head, it's the perfect plan.

Finn thinks this is a bad idea. He has a girlfriend and she doesn't even know he's been hanging out with Rachel but he rationalizes that it won't be a big deal since she's only asking as a friend and she's not into him that way. He'll only be helping a friend out, right?

"Okay," Finn says before he knows it. Rachel turns around with wide eyes, surprise evident in her tone. "Really?"

She practically tackles Finn as she jumps to hug him. "Thank you so so much! I promise I will help you with anything you need too. Thank you!"

When she moves away from the hug, she suddenly realizes she's sitting on his lap now. He's looking into her eyes so intently that Rachel could feel herself sweating even though she knows it's cold outside. Her heart is hammering out of her chest.

Finn stares at her lips and becomes mesmerized by how soft and shiny they look and then all of a sudden she leans into him and he is kissing the softest, plump lips he's ever felt.

Being friends with Puck had its perks. It meant he would always share his knowledge about girls unwarranted but he never thought it would actually come in handy now.

At first it was gentle and just their lips touching but then he couldn't resist sucking on her bottom lip because they are so full and soft. Rachel moaned softly from the action and the sound went straight to his pants.

She opens her mouth just a little bit and Finn took that opportunity to get his tongue to work. She tastes so sweet and so perfect.

Rachel feels Finn's tongue in her mouth and it felt weird at first having someone's tongue in there but when he starts moving, it starts to feel good and soon enough she tentatively reciprocates and chases his tongue back in his mouth to taste him.

Rachel was getting tired of straining her neck so she positions her legs and straddles Finn without breaking the kiss. Finn holds her head closer as they kiss deeper.

She grabs Finn hands from his sides and circles it around her waist before she puts her hands on his shoulders.

Rachel starts licking and sucking on his bottom lip when he suddenly releases a groan of appreciation making them part for a while.

Rachel looks at him with a worried expression and a little out of breath from the kiss, "Did I, was there something wrong?"

"No, that was good," he says out of breath too.

Finn wanting to taste more of Rachel, dove right back into her red swollen lips. Rachel reciprocates with as much intensity and the next thing you know, Finn has his back against the bed and Rachel is on top still straddling him.

Rachel suddenly pulls away when he could feel something hard between her thighs. Finn looks at her confused but it doesn't matter because there are other places to kiss so he moves his hand on her back to bring her back down and suck on the junction between her neck eliciting another moan from Rachel.

Rachel could feel something beneath her thighs getting wet and she knew she's getting turned on. She has read about this but she never knew how good it felt like but what's puzzling her is that she could feel something hard between her thighs. Does this mean Finn is turned on by this? But- "Ohhh, Finn, that feels so good," Rachel's train of thought is interrupted as she groans when Finn starts licking and sucking on her jaw and neck.

Rachel could feel something just below her belly start to build up and she felt like she needed more friction so she involuntarily starts grinding onto Finn and she breathes even harder.

Finn is struggling to contain himself when Rachel suddenly starts grinding on him. He's trying to imagine running over the entire postal office just to keep from coming. But it only takes the sudden vibration of his phone in his pocket to trigger his release.

He was so shocked that he literally threw Rachel to the side. He grabs his phone from his pocket as he mumbles a quick sorry to Rachel who looks confused and about to cry.

He tries to calm his breathing to act like he hasn't just been heavily making out with another girl before answering.

"Hi Quinn."
