The Beast
AN: Hello again everyone! I hope you liked the last chapter. Here is another rewrite for you guys!
Chapter 6:
Blaise Zambini sat at his favorite breakfast bistro in the heart of Diagon Alley, he watched as a rush of witches and wizards hurried off to their respected positions, it was a busy September morning. Blaise glanced down at his muggle wrist watch that was gifted to him by a generous and voluptuous conquest from his recent stent in Italy. The quartz on the face of the watch gleamed in the bright morning light, "All by yourself today love?" asked the raven haired violet eyed woman asked him with a wink.
The last few times Blaise had come by the bistro he was always with someone, and he always seemed to get seated in her section. His most recent trip was when Pansy Parkinson ran into him here, she took it upon herself to sit and eat breakfast with him, along with another witch. Whom Pansy introduced as her cousin who was visiting from Spain.
Blaise smiled at the slightly older woman in front of him. If this had been any other occasion Blaise would have asked the flirty witch to join him. Then after a long and pleasant conversation laced heavily with flirting and many sexual innuendoes. They would have more than likely gone back to her place where he would shag her brains out, afterwards he would leave and probably never see the older witch again.
However today wasn't like any other day, "As much as I would rather be having you for breakfast." Blaise said giving her a charming smile, the woman blushed at his double meaning. "Sadly, I'm meeting my best mate here before we head off to our last year of school." Blaise winked at her, the older witch cupped her blushing cheeks "Oh…I…had no idea you were so young." she faltered over her words as she spoke. "It must be my smooth olive skin." Blaise commented with another smirk then a wink. The older witch giggled at him, "Erin! Good Lord Woman! I pay you to sever the customers not flirt with them! Get back to work!" a man yelled, who Blaise could only assume was the witch's boss. The raven-haired women, Erin jumped out of her skin and hurried away from his table.
"Flirting with the help again I see." Draco appeared out of thin air, scarring his friend. "Merlin's beard! I nearly spilled my tea!" Blaise said sloshing the tea in his cup. Draco chuckled at his best friend and sat back comfortably in his chair, stretching out his long legs. "I see you got my note." Draco said to his friend taking a bite out of his mate untouched scone. Blaise nodded and patted his breast pocket where he had place Draco's cryptic message he received a few days ago. It was the first time he had heard form Draco in a full year, and to be honest Blaise was a little bit irritated at his best friend who took almost a full year to contact him.
Blaise was a little understanding since the war was on going and his best mate and most of their friends were in the thick of it all the time. However, one would think that if your best friend was released from prison it would be cause for contact him and celebrate his return to wizarding high society. Did Blaise so much as hear a peep from his so-called best mate? No, he received absolutely no word from his best friend. "Yes…yes…I got your note. I guess it would be too much to ask for a little more than a cryptic message to your best friend that reads 'We need to meet. You know where and when. Signed D.M.' this isn't the war Drake you don't have to creep around in the shadows like a spy or something." Blaise said to him sipping his tea.
Draco rubbed the thickly grown dark blonde stumble that was coming in on his chin. Damn I really need to shave again, Draco thought to himself and sighing at his best friend's words. "I'm sorry I had to reach out to you the way I did...You sound like a girl by the way. Worse than Pansy might I add." they both shuddered at the witch's name. Blaise shook his head, "That biddy has not left me alone since the story broke of your release from prison. She came to my manor I will have you know, it was a good thing I was alone too when she just decided to quickly visit at 3 in the morning. Pestering me, if I had heard anything from you and when you were coming back? Shite like that." Blaise said with a sigh taking another sip of his tea. Draco had finished his cup of tea and had eaten the blackberry scone in record time. "That bint is fucking crazy." Blaise added.
Draco nodded he knew just how crazy Pansy Parkinson could be. Back when they were in their third year at Hogwarts. She had once threatened to cut off his pecker just because one of the Slytherin girls started a nasty rumor that Draco was having sex with both Greengrass sisters, at the same time. The rumor was not true at that time, but the threat to Draco's manhood was too great for him to take a chance on, no matter how good the sex was. Draco slowly stopped seeing Pansy after that, he told her that his grades were slipping, and he needed to become more involved with his schooling and Quidditch. Pansy quickly got bored waiting around for him and moved on getting busy with other guys not just in their house.
"Trust me I know just how crazy Pansy Parkinson is. Why is she so worried about me anyway? Isn't she with Theo Nott?" Draco asked taking a sip of his tea, Blaise shrugged unknowingly as he set his empty cup off to the side of the table. "I thought she was with a bloke from Ravenclaw a year behind us, but who knows with that one. Maybe she's just waiting around for you again." Blaise answered with a laugh as Draco scrunch his nose in disgust. As did his wolf. "That's not funny." Draco said to him as their server came back round and filled up their cups before moving on to her other tables.
"Oh, it's quite funny. In any case, how has it been being back in the real world and all?" Blaise asked him, Draco smirked thinking back to last week and his "incident" with Hermione Granger. "Its been very…eventful...to say the least. How was Italy?" Draco asked him quickly changing the subject before Blaise could catch his meaning, "Italy was nice. Mother enjoyed the shopping, I enjoyed the company of many witches it was very enjoyable…You should have come with us you know. You and your mother..." Blaise said to him, Draco let out a sigh they had been over this before. Many times, in fact. "Mate you know if we had, it would have been bad for all involved. My father lost his mind all he cared about was serving Lord fucking Voldemort and having his perfect pureblood family to back him up every step of the way. If mother and I would have left every Death Eater would have tracked us all down and most likely killed us or worse." Draco said bitterly to him.
Obviously, I have struck a nerve there. Blaise thought to himself as he raised an eyebrow at his friend. "There is something worse than death?" Blaise questioned his words. Draco pulled at the collar of his shirt and tie, "Yes there are worst things than death." Draco answered him shortly as he looked around the café as if to make sure they were alone.
Blaise frown at his friend's newfound secretive nature. "What do you mean there are things worse than death?" Blaise asked him. "Trust me when I tell you, you really don't want to know." Draco said clutching his empty cup. Blaise bit the inside of his cheek and narrowed his eyes, "Try me" he challenged the blond in front of him. Draco looked around to double check to see if they were still alone and cast a Disillusionment Spell on them. "Before the Final Battle at Hogwarts. Me and my family were punished for letting Potty and his lot escape. My father was tortured by a Cruciatus Curse, and I got this-" Draco explained as he pulled his collar to the side exposing his shoulder.
Blaise looked shocked at the torn flesh that was scared over. "Bloody hell…man is that a…bite wound?" it looked like a large dog bite to him, but he knew his best mate didn't have a pet of any kind and the only canine species that he knew of was of the...beastly verity. Draco nodded knowingly and fixed his appearance.
Then suddenly it clicked for Blaise, his best friend's appearance had been slightly different then when he last saw him. Draco was taller, had more muscle mass and he was shocked at the growth on his face. He never "Are you saying…that you're…a…Werewolf?" Blaise asked him with a whisper. The blonde said nothing and nodded to him, smoothing out is tie. "Yes, it was my parting gift from that fucking crazy ass wolf Greyback." Draco hissed in anger, as Blaise ran his hand through his short black curls. "Blimey…this is heavy shite mate. Who all knows about this?"
"My mother of course, my godfather Snape—"
"Whoa…back up...Snape is alive? I thought he was eating alive by that snake of You-Know-Who's." Blaise interrupted. Draco rolled his eyes, at the horrid rumor, "Never happened he was badly injured. My mother was the one who helped nurse him back to life. Anyways…the Head Mistress knows, and probably some Ministry officials who monitor and regulate these kinds of things I'm assuming. It's all still pretty quiet but I like to tell the important riff raff myself." He stated pointedly with a small chuckle.
"Alright well…what are we going to do about this…situation you're in?" Blaise questioned his best mate. Draco raised a pale brow at his friend. "We? I was under the impression that you were going to run your family's company after Hogwarts. Its all you ever talked about when we were in school, well that and trying to decide which witch you were going to have warm your bed at night." Draco said with a smirk, Blaise gave him a cocky chuckle. "You think I'm going to let my best mate go back to a school alone with people who hate and fear him and will most likely lash out for any reason…you are sadly mistaken." Blaise said zealously.
Draco gave his best friend a thankful smile. "Thanks mate, you don't have to do this, but I appreciate it." Blaise said nothing just lifted his tea cup up in salute, there wasn't any thanks needed they had been friends for longer than either if them could remember. Blaise started to get up from the table and Draco followed throwing down some gallons for there breakfast.
"Oh…one more thing…what do you think of Her-Granger?" Draco requested as they walked toward the aspiration point.

Hermione stood at King's Cross between platforms nine and ten, she felt like she had been standing here for a while now looking at the invisible portal between the muggle world she was born into and the wizarding world she had become a part of. Hermione remembered the first time she had come here with both of her parents along with Professor McGonagall, she was both terrified and excited all at the same time.
Even now after all theses years of coming and going, in and out through both worlds. She still had those same feelings as she did when she was just eleven years of age. "Come on mum we are going to be late!" Ron huffed in annoyance at his mother. Well there goes my moment of peace and quiet, Hermione though to herself and signed at Ron's loud voice. "Ooofff…I have had just about enough to you boy!" Molly scolded him.
Ron rolled his eyes at her, "Don't you rolled your eyes at your mother, Ronald." His father said harshly to him as he helps Ginny with her trunk. Ron groaned at them, "I just…I don't want to miss the train. We will be the laughing stock of the school if that happens again." he whined at them referring to what happened to him and Harry in their second year at Hogwarts. "We aren't going to be late Ron the portal is right here." Hermione said to him with an annoyed sigh, she was more than happy to get back to her education and spending a few hours away from Ronald Wesley and his continuous bickering and whining.
Ron made a sour face at her, "Can we just get going please." Ron whined again at them, Molly rolled her eyes at her youngest son. The boy did not have a sentimental bone in his body, "I cannot believe this will be you all's last year at Hogwarts." Molly sniffled into her tissues that she pulled out of her sleeve, "Why I remember as if it was just yesterday that it was your first year at Hogwarts." Molly cried and blew her nose into the tissue, as Arthur wrapped his arm around his wife's shoulders. "Now, now dear, we talked about this. It's not like you're never going to see them again, they will be back in time for Christmas break. You'll see." Arthur said reassuringly to his wife with a hug.
Molly cried harder into his chest, he cleared his throat at the group in front of him. "You all best be off now, you'll miss the train." The patriarch of the Weasley family said, Ron didn't need to be told twice as he bolted through the portal with his cart. Harry shook his head at him and followed him through carrying his and Ginny's trunks, "Hermione, what do you think this year will be like?" Ginny asked as she linked their arms together as they passed through portal, catching up to the guys.
"I don't know Gin' but really hope to relax this year, I just can't shake this feeling like that never going to happen for me." Hermione said gazing at the sleek red and black train of the Hogwarts Express.
"Well you never know you might get the relaxation you're looking for. By the way Malfoy is staring at you." Ginny said with a wink and wrapped her arm around Harry's as they boarded the train. Hermione gazed down the end of the platform to see Draco Malfoy leaning against the pillar staring at her.
Her face flushed remembering the last time they had ran into each even now she could feel his blazing hot fingers runing across her body, Hermione licked her suddenly dry lips has she imagined his sinful lips in between her thighs.
Draco took a predatory step towards her catching a whiff of her arousal when they heard the final whistle of the train blow snapping them both back to reality. Hermione hastily boarded the train, almost tripping up the steps as fog riddled her brain.
Even as she found her friends who saved her a seat in the middle of the train. She could still feel as if Draco was watching her, touching her, kissing her. This was already turning out to be more eventful than she thought it was
