Chapter 8: The Train Part 2
Previously: Harry and Ginny both nodded to her and watched as the blonde Slytherin and the brunette Gryffindor walked away from them. Ginny wrapped her arm around Harry's waists. "Now, what are we going to do with your brother?" he asked her.
Ginny looked up at him with a mischievous glint in her eye and smirked.
Harry and Ginny took a moment to look down at Ron's frozen form. "Well what are we going to so with you?" Harry questioned levitating Ron's body into the seat, Ron gazed up at both odd them angrily. "Oh, don't look at us like that Ronald Billus Weasley! You have no one to blame but yourself for this mess!" Ginny scolded her older brother crossing her arms over her chest shacking her head at him. "Wait till Mum hears about this." She added. Ron looked over at Harry with a worried expression in his dark blue eyes.
"Hey, don't look at me. I'm not saving your bum this time, besides…your mum is scarier than Lord Voldemort." Harry muttered the last part under his breath. "Ginny is right you attacked a student-" Harry added.
"The Head Boy no less" Ginny cut in quickly as she paces back and forth.
Harry nodded and pulled Ginny into his arms rubbing her shoulders trying to calm her down. "I may not like Malfoy on a good day…hell he is a right git most days…but he was defenseless. It was cowardly on your part." Harry said disappointment dripped from his every word.
"And what the hell is wrong with you, bring up 'Mione's parent's like that you know she still broken up about not being able to bring them back to themselves." Ginny hissed in defense of her friend. Ginny thought of Hermione as her sister rather than a friend, after the war and the disastrous V-day party Hermione left for Australia to find her folks. Her and 'Mione wrote back and forth every day for a month, until one day Hermione never returned her letter. Ginny had thought maybe she just forgotten to write her back or that maybe she just got busy with her parents so she let it slide.
So, Ginny waited and waited till two full weeks went by and Ginny started to get worried, so worried in fact that she almost called the Aurors to hunt her friend. When Hermione showed up at the Burrow one stormy night, she was soaking wet from head to toe and she looked like she had been crying for days. Hermione told her about her parents and how she couldn't help them she couldn't reverse the spell that she had placed on them. She had never seen her friend so broken before, even after all the shit she had been through during the War. Ginny was never wanted to see her like that ever again if Ginny herself could help it.
Right now, she could do something about it. "You were cruel to her Ronald…I've never known you to speak to someone like that with such malicious discontent…" Ginny said and slowly took out her wand, Ron's eyes widened in fear.
Harry frowned at Ginny, "Gin'" his tone was a warning, "I'm not going to hurt him. I'm just going to teach him a lesson, if he is going to act like an asshole…" Ginny's voice trailed off as she began waving her wand about. The movements were unknown to Harry, as he watched a blue misting light flow around Ron's face as she began a French incantation also unknown to Harry. It only took a few moments till she was finished working her magic, Ginny took a step back to admire her handy work. She smirked up at Harry, who busted out laughing nearly falling to his knees. "Merlin! Ginny! You have really out done yourself this time!" Harry howled with laughter.
Ginny hummed in agreement as she flicked her wrist and the door to the compartment shut. "I do good work, no?" Harry kissed her temple as they walked away.
BBBBBBBB
Hermione and Draco walked towards the Heads Compartment, Hermione felt the eyes of the blonde wizard roaming over her body. Heat crept up on the back of her neck by the way he was watching her, it wasn't creepy or uncomfortable in anyway; he looked at her as if there was a hunger in his gaze and she was the only meal on the menu that could satisfy him.
She felt rather hot and bothered by his continued gaze, Hermione looked over her shoulder at Draco whom was currently admiring her rear end with a pleasant smirk plastered on his face. The blush grew across her checks, under he's heated fixation she felt desirable. Which no one had ever made her feel before not Victor Krum and definitely not Ron.
She felt very confused but at the same time it was making her feel wild and out of control of with her emotions, like they both were back at the Hospital. Her body began to heat up all over again, only this time she felt herself becoming wet, Oh no! Not now! Deep breath Hermione, relax. She told herself as she took an uneven breath.
Draco smirked heavily knowingly smelled her arousal in the air around her. "Alright there Hermione" he almost purred. Draco watched as Hermione gulp, her beautiful neck bobbing up then down slowly. "Could you…stop whatever it is that your doing…please." It almost sounded as if she was begging. Was she? He asked himself as wolf huffed in delight, what we wouldn't give to her begging us NOT to stop. Draco grinned wolfishly. "Doing what exactly?" he asked innocently shrugging his shoulders.
Hermione huffed at him in frustration, "You know what" Draco shook his head at her as she tossed her hair over her shoulder. Wafting more of her intoxicating scent his way, causing a major problem forming in his slacks. He took a large stride so the he was flush with her backside, she felt his warm breath tickle her neck. "Honestly, Hermione I don't know what your going on about." He whispered in her ear.
Hermione froze, over come with shock as he began too nuzzle her exposed neck with his nose. She bit her bottom lips trying to hold back her moan, "What…you…have to-" she gasped when his soft lips kissed the column of her neck. Draco smirked against her skin and suddenly turned her in his arms pinning her back to the wall of the moving train. "What must I do? Hmmm?" he asked huskily. "Tell me, Hermione. Do you really want me to stop?" he hummed eyeing her plump lips now inches apart from his own. Hermione was speechless, did she really truly want this to stop? She had never felt anything like this before it was truly intoxicating to be wanted like this, to be wanted by him. Thoughts seemed to stop forming all together for her as she gazed into his grayish blue eyes that seemed to almost disappear behind his must blown pupils.
Time itself seemed to slowed down and almost come to a stop as they stood in the empty space between cars of the train fixating on each other, they were like two magnets reach out towards each other pulling together. Their magic pulsed around them, pushing them together, Hermione ran her hand along the buttons of his white silk shirt. She could feel his heart beating rapidly under her hand, "Hermione" he whispered, wrapping his arms around her waist touching her exposed skin on her hip. Suddenly every ounce self-taught control that she had flown out the window as she grabbed his tie a slammed his lips to hers in a bruising, teeth shattering kiss.
The two kissed furiously, nipping each other's lips, Draco gripped the curvy witches' hips and lifted her up against the wall. Hermione wrapped her legs around his waist, she let out a soft moan as her back made contact with the cold window. She feeling his soft lips travel down her neck brushing her pulse-point, letting out another soft moan as he gently suckles the spot. Draco grinned against her neck and gently nipped at the soft skin along her neck careful not to break the skin. Earning another heated moan from Hermione, as she ran a delicate hand through his soft blonde hair, guiding him back up her neck, licking and nipping along his way. Hermione gently pulled him away from her neck by the hairs on the back of his head crashing their lips back together.
Hermione ground her soaking wet center against the monstrous tent of his slacks, swallowing the low groan he made; snaking his hand under her school skirt. Palming her bare ass, he pulled away slightly need a bit of air. "My my Hermione no panties. You are dirty witch." he chuckled roughly looking up at the wild witch in his arms. Her hair was a curling mess, her eyes blown wide with desire, her cheeks flushed with arousal, her lips were slightly bruise from their rough kiss. "Dear Merlin…your beautiful" he almost growl and kissed her roughly again snaking his tongue into her mouth. Hermione moaned and started pulling the bottom of his shirt out from his pants and began to fumble with the buckle of his pants unsuccessfully trying to unbuckle his dragon hide belt. She pulled away painting heavily leading her forehead against his "I need you!" she whispered pulling at his belt.
Draco never imagined this first time with Hermione would be quite like this on a moving train none the less. In truth he wanted something a bit more, and well if he was being honest with himself. He imagined it being more romantic than this.
He wanted that for her. He wanted to give her everything and anything she desired, if he could he would lay the world at her feet just to make her happy. Hermione was his…his mate…his witch…his everything. As much as he wanted to give into this moment of uncontrollable lust and desire, he didn't want her to regret ever being with him.
Draco tried to push himself away from her but found his body not heeding his commands, that's when he realized his wolf had decided to take over. Don't worry. I'll take care of our mate. Draco heard his wolf speak. Draco felt all control of this body fully slip away, as he was forced to watch himself nod in agreement as he expertly unhook the belt and button of his slacks the zipper of his slacks was pushed all the way down as he reached inside to pull out his heavy appendage from the tight confinement.
"Merlin's bloody beard Draco! You couldn't keep it in your pants for five minutes, till you got to your own common room to have your way with the witch!" This snapped both of them out of their collective stupors, Hermione cursed and hid her face in Draco's shoulders. "Snape is looking for you both by the way… should I tell him I found you?" Blaise said with a smirk to both of them. "No!" they both screamed at him.
Blaise laughed at both of them as they extracted themselves from one another. Draco looked over at his best friend with anger as he began to fix his attire. "You are a right git you know that?" Draco said harshly to him as he buttoned up his shirt. "Hey…there is no need for name calling Draco we aren't five any more. Besides it was your idea to get all the prefect together in your cabin to have a meeting, notice my surprise when both you and the Head Girl are no where to be found." Draco growled at him trying to resist the impulse to snap his neck. "Well you found us congratulations do you want a chocolate frog or something?" Draco snapped at him.
Blaise frowned at him, "Easy man…I'm just giving you a hard time" he said patting his shoulder, Draco growled again and shoved Blaise away from him. "Well don't!" he hissed and stormed off. Hermione looked on with shock at the whole ordeal and Draco's three-hundred-degree behavior change it was starting to give her whiplash. "What the hell was that all about? He was fine just a moment ago." Blaise waved her off as he brushed off his selves. "Don't worry about it Granger, he'll cool off in a moment. He's probably just embarrassed that he got caught with his pants down, well…almost" he said with a sigh. "We should probably get back to the meeting"
Hermione nodded and straighten out her skirt and blouse, before she followed Blaise to the Head Compartment that was full of the prefects minus the Head Boy. "Blaise could you–" she started, "Way ahead of you Granger" Blaise cut her off as he excused himself quickly and quietly. Hermione cleared her throat, "Thank you all for coming, I know this is a bit unexpected but it is nice to see you all here" She said pausing to give all the Prefects a smile. Neville sat beside Luna his long lanky arm was rapped around her shoulder, Pansy Parkinson was across from them with a bored look on her face as she fiddled with a very large diamond engagement ring on her finger. Next to her were the two Hufflepuffs Hannah and Zacharias, who were making serious heart eyes at each other. It was about damn time those two got together, Hermione thought; next to them on the very end sat Ginny and the Ravenclaw boy whom she couldn't remember his name at the time but she did know that he was shy and he didn't talk very much. "The Head Boy and I asked you all here because we are promoting House Unity this year—" Pansy cut her off with an un-lady like snort. Hermione frowned at the interruption and crossed her arms over her chest, "Is there a problem Parkinson?" she asked with mild annoyance in her voice.
"No…no problem I just think it's rather funny…you want us to promote House Unity, but how are we suppose follow your lead when the Head Boy can't even stand to be in the same room as you." She said with a smirk, Hermione tightened her grip on her arms. The former pug-face had a point were the hell was Draco? Why wasn't he already here? "He'll be here he's just—"
"Sorry I'm late everyone. There was a line for the loo." Draco lied to them and took his place standing next to the Head Girl, Blaise discreetly entered through the back door of the Compartment and sat across from Pansy as if he had been there the whole time. Hermione gave them a tight smile, "As I was saying Head Mistress McGonagall has asked us to promote House Unity. Each of you will be paired with a rival house member for the first month." Hermione said and conjured a parchment and quill. "I was thinking we could go with a more traditional rival house unity such as: a Hufflepuff with a Ravenclaw and a Gryffindor with a Slytherin?" Draco smirked at the Head Girl as most of her friends nodded in agreement.
"If I may?" Parkinson spoke up a bit more politely this time, "I thought this year was supposed to be different? Why are we sticking with tradition? Wouldn't it be a better idea to mix things up a bit? No offense Granger but going with tradition seems a little…boring" Blaise cleared his throat trying not to laugh at the Head Girls annoyed look on her face.
Stupid pug-faced bitch, Hermione took a deep breath and counted to three in her head. She was about speak again when Draco started in, "While I have always been the one for sticking with tradition." Blaise and Pansy let out a little laugh at his joke, Draco always had a knack for pushing his luck when it came to the Malfoy traditions. "It couldn't hurt to try mixing things up a bit, but I also think Hermione has a reason for the tradition the first years will be looking to each of their Prefects for guidance in these first few months. Its easy to tell a first year to…dislike another student because they are in a rival house, hell I've done it more times than I can count. My point is we as Heads of our respective it should be reflected that we can be friends with someone else even if they are in a rival house, we will be the example. Its high time that we set aside all differences no matter how deep they run." Everyone looked at the Head Boy in shock, he really had changed.
Hermione leaned closer to him, "That was a great speech" she whispered. Draco smirked proudly, "I'm glad you liked it." He whispered back huskily and eyed her lips. Blaise rolled his at the two and cleared his throat loudly, "So tell us, will we be having more of these little meetings?" Hermione tried her best to hide her blush as she looked at all the Perfects, Ginny raised her eyebrow in question. "Y-yes…humph…we will be having more of these meetings, I was thinking every other week should suffice right, Draco?" Draco hummed in agreement. "That's a great idea, we'll post something outside the Great Hall?" he suggested to her, who also hummed in agreement. "Oh, before I forget! Head Mistress McGonagall has also asked us to organize a few events for this year. I was thinking either a Christmas Ball or something like that? We still have time to decide when, but the Head Mistress needs an answer by then end of our next meeting in two weeks."
The Train horn blew loudly as they were nearly an hour away from the Hogwarts grounds. Draco gave a small chuckle, "I think that our que for meeting to be adjudged. Why don't you all go and double check to make sure everyone is dressed and ready" Draco nodded to each of them as they started to file out of their compartment. Hermione flicked her parchment and quill away and went to leave.
Draco stopped her by standing in her way, "Can we…I need to talk with…you about…earlier" he said awkwardly to her shuffling his feet. Hermione's face flushed but nodded to him. Draco guided them to sit down, Hermione sat across from him. Draco clutched his hands nervously, He's kind of cute when he's nervous. Hermione said to herself and smiled inwardly. "I need to get this off of my chest or I'll explode or something…anyway…I don't…I don't normally act like that…and this is the second time that I've acted…that I've jumped your bones, so to speak." Hermione blushed even more and nodded for him to continue.
Draco took a deep breath, "I get these…urges when I'm around you…I can't complete control it and I can't fight. Every time I try to fight it, or someone comes between us like…what happened with Blaise I get filled with this uncontrollable anger..." Draco licked his suddenly dry lips, he didn't know how much of his condition he should revel to her in one night he did not want to throw too much at her too soon. Draco could not run the risk of scaring her and having her run away from him. He swore under his breath and ran one of his hands through his shagging blond hair.
Hermione could see that whatever was going on with him he was struggling with it. She did the only thing she could think of, she gently took on of his large warm hands in hers. "Whatever this is, whatever is happening to you we will figure it out together Draco." Hermione promised him, Draco ran his thumb of the top of her hand and smiled his thanks. "We should start tonight after patrols I have so many questions so much research to do" Draco paled at her words. Tonight, is the full moon…shit! Draco stood up quickly dropping her hand "I can't…I just remember…I promised Uncle Sev' I would help him with something after my patrols…I'm so sorry…I got to go find him." Draco said rushing out of the compartment.
"Wait!" Hermione called out after him, but he was already gone. She let out an annoyed huff and rubbed her temples, she felt like her head was spinning. What the hell is going on with him? First pulls me in then he pushes me away and then pulls me in again only to push me away yet again! How much more of this am I willing to take? I know we have never been close but…there is something so different about him I've never felt more connected to him than anyone else in my life. Could this be a spell of some kind that is connecting us together? Could it be a curse on him? On me? Or is this the work of a potion that has been slipped to both of us? Or could this all just be some elaborate hoax orchestrated by Draco just to get into my pants? Doubt seemed to flood into her mind and tears began to form in her eyes, Hermione blinked them away quickly. She couldn't think about this anymore, she was Head Girl for Merlin's sake she needed to start acting like it.
Hermione quickly adjusted herself, took a deep breath, held her head up high and mentally prepared herself to be the best Head Girl these students had ever seen.
