Chapter 10: Welcome Back to Hogwarts
The long black train of the Hogwarts Express rolled into the station of the Hogsmead Village at half pasts six in the evening on Sunday, September the 1st. Steam cascaded over the platform creating a dense layer of fog, as the first group of enthusiastic First Years hopped off the train with excitement.
"Can you believe we are actually here?!" A happy redheaded girl clapped her hands with glee.
The boy with heavy set glasses nodded in agreement "I can't wait to check out the library, this is going to be so amazing." he said pushing his glasses back up his small nose.
"Our first year at Hogwarts!"
"Best make sure it's not your last." said a menacing voice from the fog, the students shuffled back towards the train as the dark figure inched closer to them until the old Hogwarts Caretaker came into their view. Fitch had only grown more menacing since the Battle of Hogwarts, the skin around his cheeks had begun to hollow out from lack of food. The same had happened to his eyes from the lack of sleep, "Blimey, Professor! You gave us a fright!" The redheaded First Year shouted.
The old squib gave them an edgy smirk, "It's not me you should be frightened of..." he said slowly slipping back into the fog laughing maniacally at the frightened First Years. "He's a real nutter that one, honestly! I bet he gets his rocks off by scaring us like that, just wait till I tell my father hears about this. He'll be sorry, you'll see." A raven-haired girl huffed as she stomped her foot like a spoiled child.
"Oui! What's going on over 'ere!" Boomed a loud voice from behind them. The First Years screamed at the half-giant toting his signature lantern. "Blimey, what's gotten into you lot? Now…now…there's no need for all this screaming yea" he said, gently to them as a few of them began to cry. He trying his best to calm the group down as Hagrid knelt down their level "My name is Rubeus Hagrid and I am the Grounds Keeper here at Hogwarts. I would say it's nice to have you all here but I'm afraid Caretaker Filtch has already ruined that for you lot. Don't you lot worry one bit about him, want to know a little secret about grumpy olé' Filtch?" He asked whispering to the group who all nodded to him.
"He loves his cat more than he really should. Takes that thing everywhere with him." Hagrid whispered to them.
"Even in the tub?!"
Hagrid smiled and laughed at the boy with the big glasses and ruffled his brown curls. "Even in the tub," he said with a wink and slowly stood up. "Now, how's about we get you lot down to the docks, that will give you lot a proper view of the castle." The boys and girls nodded with enthusiasm as they followed the half-giant down toward the docks.
"I've never seen Hagrid being so good with First Years before," Ginny said with a smile, as she gazed at Hagrid, who helped the younger witches and wizards into their boats. "I remember my first time crossing the Black Lake in those rickety old boats Dean was being a smart arse and nearly tipped over his boat with Seamus, and Neville in it. Almost caused Hermione, Ron and I's boat to tip over." Harry half-heartedly laughed at the memory of Seamus and Dean. Ginny sensed his mood change and wrapped her arms around his neck, "Hey, remember what we talked about..."
Harry sighed leaning his forehead against hers. "I remember: 'I did everything I could. It wasn't my fault, I'm not responsible for the actions of crazy lunatics and their sycophantic followers.'" Harry repeated their little mantra over again. Ginny rewarded him with a soft kiss on his cheek.
"Good, now can we please go to the carriages. That way we can have one all to ourselves, I miss being alone with you." Harry smirked and lent her his arm, "Shall I lead the way m' lady?" Ginny giggled at his gentlemanly tone and wrapped her arm around his, "Lead the way good sir." Harry laughed as they hurried off towards the carriages.
When they got there however there was a long line between them and the Therser drawn carriages, "Damn it! I knew we should have been here sooner!" Ginny cursed in frustration. "Well you know we could always just pop over behind those bushes and have some alone time." Harry whispered in her ear, causing a blush to creep over her cheeks.
"As much as I want to, I would rather not end up with poison ivy all over my...unmentionables." Ginny whispered the last part as the line got more crowded. Harry chuckled softly at the memory of them making love in the greenhouse at his Godfather's house, "How was I to know, the floor was covered in the stuff. I thought it was just a nice soft cushion." Harry said with a little laugh, Ginny gave his chest a good slap.
"It's not funny, Harry. Do you know humiliating it was to have my mother rub slave all over my arse?" Harry tired not to chuckle, Ginny too was trying not to laugh as well. "Just think of the funny stories we'll tell our kids about." Ginny looked up at him with wide eyes. They hadn't even talked about having children yet, they were still trying to plan out their wedding. "Harry..."
"I know we haven't talked about it yet, but I...want you to know that I want children with you someday…whenever we're ready." he said quickly, pulling her closer to him so she couldn't bolt. "Just think of this time as...practice." he smirked and gave her plump red lips a promising kiss. "Practice?" Ginny question before pulling him into a deeper kiss. Harry hummed his approval and ran his tongue over her bottom lip.
"GINNY! HARRY!" came the loud obnoxious shout from Lavender fucking Brown, interrupting the beginning of a wonderful snogging session. "Damn it!" Harry hissed in frustration, "I thought Ron said she wasn't coming back this year." Harry whispered to her as he saw Lavender cut through the long line of people making a beeline towards them.
"Excuse me...Coming through here...Watch it...That's my fucking foot you just stepped on! These are Manolo Blahnik's! They cost more than your life! I swear to Merlin if you messed them up, I will skin you alive!" Lavender Brown cursed at the young boy who had stepped on her boots. They were in the middle of the bloody forest, why on earth would she wear boots that were almost two thousand pounds in the woods, to begin with.
"Well I think it's safe to say my idiot brother was wrong about that." Ginny whispered and quickly plastered a fake smile on her face as Lavender approached them. "Hi, guys it's so good to see you both!" Lavender giggled happily wrapped her arms around them both in an unexpected hug. Ginny and Harry patted her back awkwardly. "I feel like I haven't seen you both forever!" Lavender said and pulled them both out of line for the carriages. Harry awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck, "Yes it's been an awfully long time hasn't Gin'" the redhead nodded in agreement looking back at the line of Students now getting into the carriages.
"I have been traveling so much for the last few weeks I almost forgot to buy my school supplies silly me right." Lavender laughed, and sighed contently. "I was going to surprise my Won-Won, but I couldn't for the life of me find him on the platform. He was with you guys on the train right?" The blonde asked them pointedly.
The dark-haired wizard turned and looked at his redheaded witch who nodded, "Why yes he was with us...for a time...we just been so busy with wedding planning and everything he eventually got bored with it all, men, you know. I still have a hard time getting Harry to sit still for more than ten minutes at a time. Although...didn't he say something about finding Neville, babe?" Ginny lied looking to Harry to continue their little white lie. The dark-haired wizard coughed awkwardly, "Oh...yes...I think he did say something about that."
Lavender's face dropped, giving off a small childish pout.
"Perhaps they are still on the train." Ginny said trying to sound hopeful enough so that the annoying witch would leave them be. Lavender slowly nodded beginning to feel hopeful about the situation, "Maybe your right I'll just go have another look-see. You guys will wait for us, right?" She asked looking at them hopefully. Ginny plaster another fake smile on her face, "Oh of course we'll even hold a carriage for all of us."
Harry looked at his redheaded witch like she had grown two heads, "Oh thank you, thank you" Lavender clapped her hands threw herself at the redheaded witch hugging her, tightly. "I'll be right back!" Lavender giggled and hurried off back towards the train.
"We are seriously not waiting for them, are we?" Harry questioned, "Of course we aren't! You really think I want to be stuck with Lavender and brother. She'll be insufferable fawning over him like some broken baby bird, after the spell I put upon him. I'd be lucky not to be expelled after tonight. Even though he deserved it." Ginny shook her head at him.
Harry hummed in agreement as a Therser pulling a carriage arrived in front of them, "Knowing Ron I'm pretty sure he isn't going to mind the attention he'll get from her. That's what he's always wanted, for someone to give him all their attention. They're perfect for each other. How long will that spell last anyway?" Harry asked her, opening up the door of the carriage for her. He extended his hand, helping her into a carriage.
Ginny shrugged as he followed her into the carriage, shutting the door as he sat next to her. "Honestly, I hhaven't the foggiest inkling. I'm pretty sure by the time we get to the Castle he'll be his same old selfish self though." Ginny said with a small laugh. Harry chuckled at her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders kissing her temple. "You are very bad Miss Weasley, what am I ever going to do with you?"
Ginny smirked up at him. "Well I can think of a few things to start with." she said slyly to him sliding herself into his lap kissing his lips.

Head Mistress McGonagall gazed at herself in the full-length mirror that stood in the corner of her chambers. She had looked as she had in her younger years, gone was once graying hair and was replaced by her signature red hair of her Irish heritage. She gently re-curled her hair letting the lengths fall around her face. She took in her appearance for a few more minutes before the first group of students arrived at any moment. She would have to change her appearance back into that of an older version of herself, she at least wanted to look her very best in whatever form she took. Nothing beats a first impression after all; at least that what her mother always reminded her of. She was a woman who was wise beyond her years, she missed her very much every day.
Minerva brushed away the sad memory that started to take hold of her. "You look fabulous my dear!" the voice of Albus Dumbledore called to her from the other side of the room in the Head Mistress's Office, she peeked around the mirror to the portrait of the former Head Master that hung over her desk in the room next door. "Ever the flatter Albus." she as she smoothens down the front of her long baby blue silk robes. The old man in the painting cracked a smile at her and winked at her.
"I have to agree with the old man. You look amazing my love." a feminine voice said from behind her. Minerva looked through the mirror at the pale woman in a sheer nightgown standing behind her, blushing at her. The other women took a step toward her, long silver-white hair flowed over her shoulders, and down to the middle of her back. The sheer flowy nightgown slipped off her shoulder exposing her neck, that was marked with love bites from earlier in the day and their Mating mark.
The other woman wrapped her arms around Minerva's midriff and kissed her neck. "You should get dressed; the students will be here soon." The Head Mistress whispered to her lover, who huffed into her neck tickling Minerva with her breath, "The summer of love is must truly be over then. Pity...I was hoping I could convince you to come back to bed." Her lover stated playfully, biting the Mating mark on Minerva's neck, the redhead's breath caught in her throat. "Eva" the Head Mistress half moaned; half warned.
The silver-haired woman huffed and pulled away pouting, "Your no fun, Min'" she grumbled letting the nightgown fall away completely before turning away from the Head Mistress and walking over to their wardrobe. "Oooh, someone's in trouble." Dumbledore sang softly from the other side of the room. Minerva rolled her eyes at the old wizard's voice and went over to her mate, who was sitting at her vanity brushing out her lustrous hair. "I'm sorry Eva. I'm just under a lot of -"
"Stress, yes, yes I know." Eva cut her off, as she tied her silver hair up in a neat bun, "You want everything to be perfect. I know how you get when things don't turn out the way you want them to. I just want you to be happy, that's my responsibility as your Veela." Eva eyed her seriously through the mirror. Minerva nodded and ran her hands over her mate's pale bare shoulders, "I know and I apologize for being snippy with you my love. How can make it up to you?" Eva raised a pale brow at her suggestion, she hummed as if she was deep in thought.
"Would you allow me to leave the feast early?" Eva raised a question to her mate turning to look at the redhead in the eyes, who nodded. Eva smirked mischievously at Minerva, "Good, then I shall be here waiting for you naked." Minerva sat on the end of their bed in shock, when she heard the water turn on. She stood up and was at the lavatory door when a knock came from her office door, "Aren't you going to get that love?" Eva called, The Head Mistress groaned and walked sulking into her office. With the flick of her wrist the portrait to their bedroom was closed; Minerva then snapped her fingers as she transformed herself into the old woman everyone else saw her as. "Enter" the Head Mistress commanded.
Sybill Trelawney Hogwarts' professor of Divinations entered her office, "The students have arrived Mistress." Minerva nodded her thanks and followed the witch out of her office and down the staircase that led to the Great Hall, "I trust you can show the First Year's the way." Minerva said to her patting her shoulder, Trelawney looked at the Head Mistress in delight as she hurried down to the entrance to greet the new students. Minerva entered the Great Hall and took her place at the podium; she took in a deep breath as the older students started to file in. She smiled at each of them as they all took their places at their respected house tables, a few moments later the First Years arrived in lines of two. Boys in one-line girls in the other, as they walked towards the professor's table.
The Head Mistress tapped her wand on the podium and cleared her throat. "Welcome students one and all. Old and new, this year is a year of new beginnings. Before we sort our First-Year students I'd like you all to stand and give a round of applause to Pomona Sprout and Filius Flitwick they are leaving us this year but they have both promised to return next year, they just wanted to see some of you one last time before most of you make your way out into the Wizarding World." All the students stood and clapped as the two professors walked through the crowd of children smiling and waving to most of them. They made sure to hug their favorite students, Neville amongst them hugged Professor Sprout tightly. As they left the Great Hall one last time.
"I know we will all miss them a great deal, but without further ado let me introduce you to some fresh faces: replacing Madame Sprout for Herbology and Head of Hufflepuff this year, is Nora Corbin. Next, we have your Charms Professor and Head of Ravenclaw this year, is Zoe Luxx. Now to some more familiar faces. Returning to his post as Potions Master and Head of Slytherin is Severus Snape." The Slytherin table cheered happily for the return of their Head of House.
Minerva clapped along with them as Snape gave them all a small wave of his hand as he remained in his chair, "We are all very happy to have you back, Professor Snape. For your Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor, I'd like to introduce Bill Weasley. For you Flight Instructor, Quidditch Referee and Head of Gryffindor I can think of no one better than Hogwarts' very own International Quidditch Star Oliver Wood." The Gryffindor table erupted with loud cheering and whistles, as Oliver waved to them as he stood next to Bill. "International Quidditch Star eh?" Bill smirked at Oliver, "Jealous Curse Breaker?" Bill shook his head slightly, "Not in the least, I still got the girl in the end." Bill stated smugly as he took his seat. Oliver's cheeks redden, to this day he still had a huge crush on Bill's wife Fleur.
"This is turning into a longer speech than I had originally anticipated it being, but bear with me for just two more introductions then I will turn this over. As many of you may know before I took the Head Mistress position, I was Deputy Headmistress to one of Hogwarts greatest Head Master's this school has ever had. In that time, I was also your Transfiguration Professor. For many years and I loved both of my positions. As much as I love teaching all of you, I know that I cannot possibly give you all the best education that you all deserve with my attention split much as it is which is why I have asked for Sybill Trelawney to be my Deputy and Eva Vulchanov to be your Transfiguration Professor this year." The Head Mistress clapped along with the other professors and students.
Sybill stood shyly off to the side as her colleague, with long silver locks, stood behind the Head Mistress with her head proudly held high. "For this year there were many factors to take into consideration for the Head Boy and Girl positions, I have known each of these two pupils for many years. They have been at the top of their classes since their First Year at Hogwarts, they have both shown such growth and determination throughout the years and I can't wait to see what these two will do after Hogwarts. I'd like to introduce your Head Girl Hermione Granger and your Head Boy Draco Malfoy." Everyone in the Great Hall clapped as both Hermione and Draco stood and smiled at everyone and then politely to each other before sitting back in their seats.
"Now without further ado, I will turn it over to Professor Trelawney."
Minerva smiled and sat down in the middle of the head table as Sybill read off the names on her parchment. "That was a wonderful speech Profes- I mean Head Mistress." Oliver corrected himself quickly. "Thank you, it wasn't too aimlessly, was it?" Oliver shook his head, "Please call me Minerva, Oliver we are going to be working together for quite some time. We should at least be on a first-name basis with each other." Oliver smiled and nodded his thanks.
"You did wonderfully, I thought." Eva commented as she took a sip of her pumpkin juice and then grimaced at the taste.
I wish I had something a bit stronger than this childish beverage, Eva thought through their bond. Minerva tried to hide her smile behind her cup, as she too took a few sips.
Give it some time it will grow on you. Are you planning to stay through the feast? Minerva asked her. The Veela hummed her assurance and watched as the crowd of children as they went to their perspective house tables.
After all, forty of the First Years were sorted and seated. "Let's tuck in!" The Head Mistress called and clapped her hands and the metal covers vanished from the trays. Some of the new students sat in awe at the amount of food there was. The older student quickly grabbed as much food as they could possibly fit on their plates. "I can't believe Ron is missing all this." Neville said taking a bite out of his tender Bangers with Mash. Hermione was ever grateful that Neville had paused to chew his food and then swallow the contents, "Where is he anyway? I saw him get on the train with you lot?" Neville looked to Ginny, Harry, and Hermione.
Hermione spoke up first, "Ronald and I had a bit of a row on the train...I may or may not have lost my temper and... slapped him." Hermione confessed. "He deserved it 'Mione. He has been a right git lately, so don't feel guilty for putting him in his place." Ginny told the brunette, as she cut into her Beef Wellington. "So...no one has seen Ron, then?" Neville asked looking to Harry, who shook his head as he chewed his food. "I saw Lavender heading to the back of the Train...maybe they are having a little rendezvous." Colin Creevey said waging his eyebrows at Hermione.
Neville chocked up his pumpkin juice, Harry gaged on his mouth full of food. Hermione covertly scooted away from Colin. This is why Harry and the group dubbed him 'Creepy' Colin Creevey. "I think I just lost my appetite," Ginny muttered as she pushed her plate away from her. "Yeah" Hermione muttered in agreement as she set her utensils down on her plate and pushed it towards the middle of the table. Hermione was about to strike up a conversation with Ginny about her wedding.
When the heavy ornate doors to the Great Hall screeched loudly as a mud-covered Lavender Brown dragged what looked like to be an unconscious and unrecognizable redheaded male. "MY…WON-WON…HAS…BEEN…ATTACKED!" She screamed breathlessly, she lifted up the chin of the redheaded male, everyone turned to see the face of Ronald Weasley had been morphed into that of a donkey. The entire Hall erupted into a fit of laughter. "Stop laughing!" Lavender screamed at all of them stomping her foot, "It's not funny!" she shouted at them but everyone continued to laugh at the witch and the donkey faced redhead.
"I SAID STOP LAUGHING!" Lavender screamed and magic surged from her breaking any and all of the glassware in the entire Hall. "Miss Brown! That is quite enough!" The Head Mistress exclaimed firmly keeping her composure on the outside but she was positively fuming on the inside. The whole Hall went silent as the Head Mistress stood up from her seat. "B…b...but…R…R…Ron" the young witch stuttered as the Head Mistress approached them. Minerva looked down at the redhead, inspecting the magic that had changed his face, it was a sophisticated but a short-lived Transfiguration spell. "This is a childish prank nothing more. Mr. Weasley was not attacked by a dark witch or wizard." Bill looked down at his little sister and her fiancée and raised his brow at them. Ginny shrugged off her older brother's questioning gaze.
With the wave of the Head Mistress's hand, Ron's body disappeared from the Great Hall. "You can visit Mr. Weasley in the Hospital Wing tomorrow before your classes start. He will be better in the morning." The distraught young witch nodded and dried her tears with the palm of her hand, rubbing more mud across her face. "Go and get yourself cleaned up, Miss Brown. I'll have a house elf bring you something to eat." Lavender nodded and went to turn and leave, "One more thing Miss Brown. It's probably best not to shout someone has been attacked, it tends to attract the wrong kind of attention you understand." Lavender gulped and left quickly as to not anger the Head Mistress anymore. "Well, I think that's enough excitement for one night. Prefects, make sure everyone has had a proper meal and then see everyone off to bed." She instructed them kindly before taking her leave from the Great Hall.
BBBBBBBBBBBBB
By the time all the students were finished with their meals. The number of students taking there leave created enough of a distraction from the confused First-Year, for Snape and Draco to sneak out of the Great Hall. They took a left out of the Great Hall and went down the Grand Staircase that leads to the Long Gallery, which held tapestries with the names of those who had fallen during the Battle of Hogwarts. "We must hurry before someone follows us." Snape muttered walking as fast as he could with his cane. "You took your potion, yes?" Snape asked as they reached the Viaduct Entrance. "Yes God-father" Draco answered as the older wizard's cane clicked across the stone floor decorated with the Hogwarts Crest.
Passing under the stone archway, they took a narrow staircase down to the Dungeon Corridor. Where they passed the Slytherin Dungeon's and the new larger Potions Classroom, the adjacent corridor they crossed was the Slytherin Corridor that was once Draco's second home for so many years. It was going to be so different not awakened by Blaise's snoring at 5 am every single morning. When they had reached the end of the corridor, Snape and Draco had stopped at the portrait of Phineas Nigellas Black, "I thought Elizabeth Burke always hid the entrance to the Dungeon?" Draco questioned as his God-Father waved his wand in a sophisticated pattern. "She was your father had me send him the portrait when I was Head Master during the Dark Lords regain. It was supposed to be a gift for your mother, she hates that painting. She even tried to set it on fire once we had a good laugh, about it. The new Head Mistress wants to get rid of all the 'Blood Supremacists' that are portrayed at Hogwarts. Naturally, she started with her office. They will all eventually be stored down here, until the end of the year or longer; if the next Head Master or Mistress has the same manner of thinking." Snape said as he pulled the frame of the portrait from the wall. Revealing a secret entrance to the dungeon.
"Stay close and follow me." Snape instruction as the portrait closed behind them. Snape led the way with his wand lit with Lumos, Draco did the same as they went deeper into the dungeons. The air in the dungeon was cold, and there was a pungent odor of stale water along with the chill. "It's not much further now." Snape said as they passed dungeon number five, where they used to have classes held back in Draco's third year. After Hogwarts was rebuilt most of these dungeons we're no longer used as classrooms, they were now empty dungeons once again. "You'll be safe down here." Snape stated as they entered the old Dungeon Pit.
The Dungeon Pit was a giant cavern with a large hole in the middle of the it. Inside the hole was a large silver cage. "Are you ready?" Snape asked his God-Son. Draco took a deep breath, "If I say 'no' would that change anything?" The blonde asked nervously to the older wizard, who said nothing but looked sadly at his God-Son. Draco took off his cloak, vest, tie, shoes, and socks. He folded each item neatly and handed them to Snape, the last thing he handed Snape was his wand. "They will be taken care of, I promise you." Draco nodded his thanks to the older and took another deep breath as he descended into the Pit. The cold damp dirt squished in between his toes as he made his way over to the cage, Ok...here goes nothing, Draco thought to himself as he entered the cage. The door to the cage closed on its own. "Now what?" He asked looking up at his God-Father. "Now we wait." Snape said to him as he transfigured a chair out of thin air and sat down.
Draco sighed as he sat in the dirt, not too happy about getting his pants filthy. Not that it would matter if a few hours anyway, they would end up being torn to shreds when he changed. Draco folded his knees to his chest and closed his eyes to try and get good hours' worth of sleep.
Blood pounded in his ears, as the young white werewolf raced through the Forbidden Forest. He felt that something was chasing after him, something dark, dangerous and deadly. The white wolf just ran harder and faster than he thought possible, but the dark shadow kept getting closer and closer. He ran up the length of a fallen tree to try and get a good scent of whatever or whoever was chasing after him. Before he could even inhale the cold night air, a large black werewolf collided with his body and the two tumbled into the dirt. The black wolf snarled and bared its teeth at the white wolf, "I've got you now little Malfoy" the red eyes of the black werewolf glowed with glee and lunged for his throat.
"NO!" Draco screamed as he bolted awake.
"Draco...what's...hmph...what's happening?" Snape asked startling awake as well, the blonde whipped cold sweat from his brow as he tried to catch his breath. "It's nothing...just a bad...agh!" Draco screamed as he clutched his chest in pain. His heart pounded violently against his ribcage, "Breath, Draco just breath." Snape called out to him. The words barely registered to Draco as he doubled over in pain as the muscles in his back spasms and shifted as more pain-racked through his body, each of his vertebrae stretched and cracked as they grew in length. A painful breath caught in his throat as the bones of his ribcage broke and pushed itself outward making room his growing organs. Draco let out a blood-chilling scream as the bones and muscles shifted, spasms and cracked as they stretched to support his new body. The bones of his hands twisted and snapped as claws ripped and tore from his once pink flesh.
Another wave of painful spasms racked over his body as Draco rolled over on his hands and knees. The bones of his face began to shift, the front of his skull popped and elongated outward breaking and reforming the bones of his nose transformed into a long muzzle. Warm wetness dripped from his mouth down his chin and on to the cold dirt of his cage. Draco looked down at the dirt in horror as he saw his human teeth scattered around him, he ran his now rough tongue over his sensitive gums and felt long serrated canines coming through the gum line. The blonde let out a half-scream half-howl as his throat constricted as in changed to become more wolf-like, the back of Draco's kill cracked one last time as his ears shifted into sharp points. He let out one last feral growl as thick white fur sprouted over his body.
"Merlin's beard" Snape gasped in astonishment, the bright blue irises stood out against the black pits of the white werewolf eyes. The wolf licked its chops as he let out a feral growl and charged at the bars. Which let out an audible hiss when the wolf's body collided with the cage. Snape took in the sight of the very awake beast, The potion should be working by now. Snape thought when the wolf howled in pain, as it charged at the cage door, Snape watched in shock as the werewolf wrapped its intimidating claws around the bars of the cage door. Draco roared in pain but did not let go of the bar instead he began to pull at them, "Oh shit!" Snape exclaimed quickly taking his wand from his cane holster as the bar creaked under the werewolf's strength.
"Petrificus Totalus!" The spell he cast had no effect on the beast as he kept pulling at his cage. Why isn't the potion working, "Immobulus!" That spell only seemed to piss off the wolf even more as it growled furiously at the wizard. "I'm sorry about this Draco...Bombarda!" the small explosion hit Draco square in his furry chest, causing him to bounce against the back of the cage. His large wolfish skull slammed into the sliver bars knocking him completely unconscious from the force of the explosion. Snape sighed and sat back in his chair, "This is going to be a long bloody year." Snape said to himself taking out his flask from his cloak pocket and took a long drink.
AN: Well that was chapter 10. I hope you enjoyed that again I do apologize for being a horrible updater. I will try to do better next time.
