Seifer groaned as he looked away from Rai and Fuu. He loved his friends but sometimes trying to have a conversation with them was like trying to have a conversation with two brick walls. It was the start of summer vacation and he was already beyond bored. After the sealing of kingdom hearts there weren't any heartless to fight now the disciplinary committee only got called in for small things like petty theft or cats getting stuck in trees. Not to mention the fact that chicken wuss was in summer school so he didn't have him to take his boredom out on.
Olette groaned as she dug through her closet, all of her tank tops were nowhere to be found.
"Mom have you seen my orange tank tops"Olette yelled down the hall. She didn't understand they had all been there yesterday when she went to school.
"Oh those, we donated them"her mom said, like it was the simplest most innocent thing in the world. Olette frowned no wonder her mother was so eager to get her out of the house yesterday. Her mom was always telling her she needed to dress girlier but Olette has always prefers shorts and tank tops to dresses and skirts. She didn't want to start a fight with her mom so she just rolled her eyes and looked at what she did have left in her closet.
"Ew, ew, ew"Olette said as she looked at one outfit after another. Finally she found an orange sundress with white flowers on it. At least this one kinda looked like her usual style. She slipped it on along with some sandals since her sneakers were also "mysteriously" missing. She frowned as she tried to brush her long hair but it was not cooperating this morning so she had to put it into a ponytail. Today was really not her day.
"Bye mom"she finally said trying to sneak out the door.
"Awwww you look so cute, my baby is growing up"her mom said and Olette rolled her eyes. Her mom was a big fan of dramatics and Olette loved her but sometimes her mom was too much. She just continued to walk determined to go and get her clothes back. As she walked she tried to keep her head down so no one noticed her.
Seifer put his head up when he saw a woman walking through the sandlot in a short orange sundress. His eyes widened as he looked at her tanned skin and long muscular legs. Then he caught a glimpse of her beautiful green eyes. Seifer shook his head; he only knew one person in twilight town with eyes that green. Surely that wasn't Olette chicken wuss's friend?! He decided to stand up earning him confused looks from both Rai and Fuu but he ignored them.
"Where are you going in such a hurry sweetheart"he asked walking up to the woman who looked up at him shocked. She hadn't wanted Seifer of all people to see her dressed like this but of course her luck today was awful. Then she noticed he was talking to her like he did the girls at school. Surely he wasn't trying to charm her?! She blinked quickly dismissing that thought from her head he was probably just looking for Hayner.
"Hayner isn't with me"she said which made him realize this really was Olette. Damn so this is the body she's been hiding under all the baggy tank tops and shorts.
"Not interested in him"he said looking at her with the same cocky smirk he always wore that made her legs weak. Surely Seifer was not hitting on her of all the girls in twilight town. "I thought you might need an escort from the disciplinary committee"he said.''
"Oh really"she asked laughing. She raised an eyebrow, why was Seifer acting so weird?
"I don't have anything better to do"he said shrugging trying to seem calm like he always was around the girls at school. Olette rolled her eyes.
"Wow thanks"she mumbled before leading him towards the donations area.
"Where are you going anyway"he asked.
"My mom donated my clothes and I have to go get them back, she thinks I should be girlier"she said honestly. This made Seifer laugh and Olette frown. "What do you think i'm not girly enough too"she asked turning on him. This made Seifer want to laugh even more for some reason the pout on her face was cute.
"So you're going to go to a clothing donation place and tell them you changed you're mind, that seems kinda rude, why not just get new clothes"he asked as he put his hands in his pockets.
"So are you saying if someone took your hat you wouldn't go get it back"she asked raising an eyebrow. He always had his hat so she was surprised with his answer.
"I would let the poor sap have it knowing he would never look as good in it as me"he admitted making her want to gag. He was so full of himself it was sickening. But he did have a good point it would be really rude to take back donated clothes. But she could not wear dresses every day.
"I guess I don't need that escort anymore"she said even though she hadn't really needed it anyway. She turned to walk back to meet up with Pence, it was time to drag him along on a shopping spree.
"Hey Sweetheart"she turned around trying to keep the blush off her cheeks why was he calling her that. "You should wear a dress every once in awhile it suits you"he said which made her blush and turn around walking off quietly. He really had just complimented her in his own way.
Seifer went back to sit by his friends who gave him confused looks. Then Seifer thought about it, Rai always looked confused but Fuu had an eyebrow raised.
"What"he asked the two of them almost daring them to say something. He had just been bored that was all.
