Olette woke up again and when she looked out her window she saw tiny black creatures with yellow eyes and she gasped. When Sora showed up before she saw a few of these creatures but the amount outside was much more than she had ever seen and she knew something wasn't right.
"Mom we have to leave now we-"Olette went downstairs but saw her mom with 3 or 4 of the black creatures on top of her. She screamed when she saw her mom's heart leave her body. Then the creatures turned to Olette who rushed to the door. She slammed the door behind her hoping to slow the creatures down as she ran to the usual spot which is where Hayner, Pence, and Olette has always agreed to go if something went wrong. As she went more of the black creatures formed out of the ground around her until she was cornered. She desperately looked around for an escape route but couldn't find one. She screamed as one of the creatures lunged at her and scratched the arm she had put up to defend herself.
"Get away"she yelled but of course the creatures just closed in on her. She saw another one lunge and knew this would be the end, this was how she would die. Then she heard what sounded like a gunshot and when she looked up Seifer was there holding this weird sword which seemed to fire bullets at the heartless.'
"Seifer"she asked as she looked up with tears in her eyes. She didn't even bother to wipe them as she ran to him.
"Have you seen Hayner or Pence"she asked.
"Fuu and Rai have them, i'll explain when we are safe"he said turning her in the direction of the train station. As they went they got more and more people. Then Olette heard crying and looked around for the noise.
"Do you hear that"she asked Seifer stopping to look down a nearby alley.
"We don't have time-"Seifer tried to say until Olette found a child who couldn't have been older than 5.
"I lost my mommy"the boy said as he wailed. Seifer felt bad for the boy but his wailing was leading the heartless right to them.
"Shut him up"Seifer snarled which seemed to make the boy cry even harder.
"Shhh it's ok"Olette said hugging the boy and picking him up as they ran. They continued to go towards the train station as Seifer shot at the heartless that emerged. As they got to the train station Olette saw the ghost train in the station and if everything else wasn't falling apart around her she might actually be amazed to see it. Then a swarm of heartless showed up behind them and circled the three people who still had the hearts the creatures seemed to crave.
"Take the kid and go"Seifer told her, shooting them a path. Olette didn't want to leave Seifer here alone but it's not like she could be much help and besides he would be fine Seifer was the best fighter in twilight town even though she would never let Hayner know it. She ran and put the boy on the train before looking back at Seifer who was surrounded. Then she looked at the boy and the safety of the train again with all it's other passengers.
"Take care of him"Olette said handing the boy to the woman who worked at the accessory shop. There she saw a discarded struggle bad and grabbed it before running back to Seifer hitting a heartless on the way.
"What the hell are you doing"he snarled as he struck down 2 heartless. He was breaking a sweat now and frowned. He was out of practice with his gunblade but he would not let these small fry be the death of him. Originally he had intended to die here after he sent Olette away but now that she was back they had to find a way out of here and the train wasn't an option because it had just taken off.
"I didn't think it would leave"Olette mumbled when she saw the train leave. Seifer rolled his eyes and grabbed her hand yanking her along. As they ran he practically dragged her until they got to his hangout inside the sandlot.'
"Why are we here"Olette asked shocked but Seifer ignored her, taking a huge tarp off a nearby ship. Once he did he shoved Olette inside the small ship. He tried to start the ship up as Olette buckled in beside him.'
"Cmon...cmon"Seifer yelled, smacking the controls which surprisingly brought it to life. Seifer let out a small chuckle of disbelief before setting their course. He wasn't sure where to go but anywhere was better than here, this world was falling to the typed in some coordinates and the ship took off. It was only when they were in space that he remembered Olette was there next to him.
"What's going on"she asked, still obviously in shock. Her eyes were wider than Seifer even though possible but as he thought about it, he realized it would be a little crazy for her not to be scared. Not to mention the fact that she had never been into space like this.
"You're wor-, Twilight town fell to the darkness,"he explained. She nodded sitting there in silence not sure exactly what to think of that. She was upset but at the same time she just felt numb, maybe this was all just a bad dream.
