It all started when someone on eBay was selling a blank VHS tape with several programs recorded from PBS Kids for only 2 dollars. It had quite a few Teletubbies episodes, as well as an episode of Seven Little Monsters. And since I was a huge fan of those shows, I bought it. The seller, whose name we'll not mention, really wanted to get rid of it. I thought it was because she hated Teletubbies, which I could understand.
Surprisingly, after only three days, it arrived in the mail. I went upstairs to play the tape.
There were a lot of old programs I used to love watching when I was little. I even uploaded a few bumpers and clips from the video on YouTube. But during one episode of Sesame Street, there was a little bumper on the bottom of the screen that said "An all-new episode of Seven Little Monsters coming up next!" I was ultimately excited, but kinda confused. Seven Little Monsters was only part of the Bookworm Bunch block, and I think this tape was recorded around the time the show was paired with The Berenstain Bears. But I was too excited to wonder what was going on though. The fundings came on, but it seemed weird because the kid saying the fundings sounded a bit distorted, kinda like in a YouTube Poop when something scary happens. Then the intro started. This intro showed showed various clips from Seasons 2, 3, and 4, which is actually very refreshing because I got so tired of the Season 2 intro being used a lot, mostly because it was just an edited version of the Season 1 intro.
The actual episode started with One in her room, sobbing. The camera zoomed out of the window, and I saw the monsters' bedroom, house, and backyard was a big mess. I think even their neighbor, Mary's house was a huge mess as well. Even though One was one of my least favorite out of the monsters, I was so heartbroken. Who would do such a thing? Then it cut to a flashback where everyone was in their backyard. Their mom came out and told them that their dad was coming to visit. This was absolutely shocking. The dad has never been seen in the books or the show. He had been mentioned a few times, and I think we even see a picture of him in the background sometimes, but he's never actually appeared in person. But then, all of a sudden, the most terrifying thing I ever saw happened. A black figure-like thing appeared out of nowhere. It looked a lot like a mix between Dr. Applecheeks from the Tom & Jerry Movie & Red from All Dogs Go To Heaven 2, but a lot more scarier. It had big bloodshot eyes, sharp bloody teeth, a fedora, two long legs, and six tentacle-like arms. It was revealed that he was the monsters' dad. It looked nothing like the dad in the picture. He talked in the most evilest voice I have ever heard. The monsters were strangely okay with him, except for One. She wasn't so sure about this. He told Four that since he's now a man(which is weird because I thought he was already about 40 years old), it was time to kidnap Mary and brutally hurt her. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I was so traumatized. Four was strangely exited about this. Normally, even Four would think this is a bad idea. Seven said he wasn't so sure either, and then Four got so angry that he slapped Seven's head and threw it all the way to Russia. I would be laughing at that, but I was too nervous about what was going on. And then Four started saying such mean things to Five. I wanted to cry because Four was always taking care of Five and was never mean to him.
Then it cut to later that night where all the monsters, except for One, snuck out of the house. Seven's head was missing, presumably still in Russia. One noticed and went to tell her mom, but when she entered her bedroom, I saw something possibly even more horrifying. One's dad was in there, and the mom was brutally hurt. There was a strange mark on her forehead. That demon dad tried to persuade One into joining him, but she refused. The dad disappeared, and One rushed quickly next door to find Mary brutally hurt by everyone, even Seven's headless body. They just stared at the camera for several seconds, and then the whole power went out in my house.
