"Welcome to the Hudson Lodge," Kevin said, opening the door. Betty looked around her, taking in all of the surroundings. "Well, we've just come through the forest but there is a beach like 5 minutes away" Kevin pointed in the direction of the beach through the back window of the lodge and Betty could see a slight tinge of blue in the distance. "This place is nice". Betty and Kevin turned around to see Archie carrying in the suitcase from the car. "Arch, you didn't have to bring in my suitcase" Archie looked over at Betty and smiled "Your suitcase is really heavy so I thought I'd spare you the pain. And also I thought I'd be nice" He winked and carried the suitcase through to the other room. Kevin pulled Betty towards him as Archie was out of sight and ear-shot and said "Did he just… wink at you?! Oh, you're in trouble" Kevin walked away over to where Betty assumed was the kitchen. "What's that supposed to mean?" She asked while walking after him.

Kevin made his way upstairs with Betty and Archie right behind. Betty took the room down the end of the hall which was looking right over at the whole forest.

The evening soon came around, in which Betty thought she'd let her mother know that she had gotten up there. She went downstairs to the kitchen where she found the phone attached to the wall. She dialed home and it rang five times before someone picked up. "Hello". A voice said from the other side of the phone. "Hi FP, it's Betty. Can you let mom know that I got here a couple of hours ago and I'm just unpacking and I'll ring her tomorrow morning" "I'll let her know Betty, you have fun. I'll tell her not to worry about you because she got so worried I had to get her to go for a walk to take her mind off of it" FP laughed.

Once Betty got off the phone, she walked over to the fridge to see if the last people who were here left anything if it was in date. She grabbed the orange juice and turned around. The carton dropped straight out of her hand when she saw a shirtless Archie leaning up against the door frame. She assumed that he'd just gotten out of the shower as his hair was soaking wet. "You made me jump" Betty looked down at the carton on the floor, which surprisingly hadn't spilt everywhere. "Sorry about that. I left my shirt somewhere I was just wondering where it was. Have you seen it?" Betty frantically looked around the room "No I haven't. You might want to ask Kevin. He might have seen it" "Thanks," Archie said when he walked out of the kitchen. Betty walked to the nearest corner and stood there for a few minutes trying not to die of embarrassment. Kevin eventually walked in and said: "Betty, you can't hide in that corner forever. He's going to come back into the kitchen at some point" Betty turned around slowly and hid her face in her hands "He made me jump. He was leaning against the kitchen door and when I saw him, I dropped the orange juice. All I wanted was some orange juice. Why can't it be that simple?"

Kevin walked over to Betty and pulled her into a hug with her head still in her hands."Oh, Miss Copper, when are you going to learn, when your best friend is as hot as that, nothing in life will be that simple"
