Chapter 7

Tonight Piper is going to sleep beside me. As we lay in my bed Piper get up immediately and I heard her system is beeping.

"What's wrong Pipes?" I ask worriedly

"Pipes?" I got up and walk towards her but she still haven't answering me.

"Piper find the person just for me" Piper said. I looked at her confused. Her voice is echoing and she's glowing so bright. The light is coming out of her skin.

Piper is floating in the air as she say repeatedly the "Piper find the person just for me" I got worried, I don't know what to do. I get my phone real fast but before I dial Robin's number she called.

"Robin! There something wrong with Piper! She's keep saying that she find the person just for her. I don't know what to do!" I said as I answered the phone worried.

"I don't know either. My persocom's been Paralyzed and they say keep saying repeatedly the same thing "Piper find the person just for her" I think she's connecting herself to other persocoms" Robin said "Im gonna call you back when I found something"

I dropped my phone didn't care if it breaks. Im worried at Piper. my heart is beating so fast. Im going bat shit. I held piper face and lean my forehead to her.

"Pipes, Come back. Im so worried." I just keep leaning to her. In the minute has passed I feel her hand in mine. I looked in her beautiful ocean blue eyes.

"Piper find the person just for me, the person is just for me is Alex. Im in love with Alex. Are you in love with me too?" Piper said. I was shock because piper feel the same way like me.

"Yes, Im in love with Piper too. I love you Piper" It feels so nice to say that out loud. I know it's crazy to fall in love to your own persocom. But I really love her, and I don't care to what other people say.

"Even Piper can't give something Alex want?" She ask.

"Yes" I replied

"I love you too" Piper lean her face and reach and my lips. It is the first time we kiss on the lips. It is the best night for me. Im so happy.

Piper is the first one who break the kiss. And I started to hear again the beeping coming out to her. She's starting floating and go out to the window and fly to rooftop.

"Piper wait!" I shout. And start running to go upstairs. As I arrived I saw Piper standing.

I scan the surrounding and everything is out of Electricity, only Piper giving light coming out to her. I start to walk towards her but someone holding my wrist.

"Don't come near her. She's dangerous" the woman said.

"Let me go! Who do you think you are?" I shout angrily.

"Im Carol Chapman. Im her creator. She's dangerous for you Alex" Carol said.

"How do you know my name? I don't understand anything! What the hell is going on?! You need to save Piper!" I shout.

"Me and my husband create our daughter, its C-01. Because we can't produce one. We build her as a real person that can feel the same as we did. At first everything is okay before she got her first book. We are worried about her because she's always says the she need to find the person just for her. We realize that this kind of persocom is dangerous for other human being. And I need to stop this"

"No. No! You can't do that! She's mine! You throw her in the dumpster! You can't do that!" I shout

"Larry" I heard carol says that and now someone is holding me. This guy persocom hold me tight.

"Are you done with your mission?" Carol ask Larry

"Yes. All person that knows Piper is clear." He replied.

"What do you mean by that?! Let go of me!" I said.

"Don't worry miss Vause, we didn't harm them. We just inject that can forget that C-01 existed."

Piper seems calm. The light coming out from her is going off. Only the moon and stars give the light.

"Hello Mother" Piper said. Her voice is cold. She's not the person I know.

"Pipes!" I called her, but she's still looking at Carol.

"Mom, I found the person just for me. The loneliness I feel is gone" Piper said.

"You are not real. I do things I shouldn't have done." Carol said sadly. "We are a failure"

"Im sorry Miss Vause" Carols said.

"Wha- what do you mean?" I said confused

"It's for your own good" Larry said.

"Chobits" Carol said. And I hear again the beeping of Piper's system.

"Password Confirmed" Piper's voice is like a real robot.

"Chobits? Carol What are you trying to do?!" I said

"It looks like that program won't be running, after all" Larry said And I was confused. My brian can't process everything that I heard.

"Master, what is your command" Piper said. I pushed larry so that I can run to piper

"No! what are you doing? Stop" I said to carol.

"Deletion of all data and termination of system" Carol said.

I hug Piper and cover her ears. "Pipe stop it! Don't listen" Im crying. I cant lose anyone anymore.

"Confirming." Piper mumble in my chest "proceed with all deletion of all data and termination system?" She continue

"I said stop it Pipes! Please!" I said

"Proceed" Carol said sadly.

"PIPER!" I shout. I hear the shutting down sound from Piper. And I know that she's gone.

"Procedure Completed" Piper said.

My knees gone weak. I kneel down in front of piper. My head went blank. My heart is hurt, I feel like a bomb that gonna explode anytime soon.

Piper start walking towards Carol

"Chobits" i said.

"Chobits. Chobits Chobits!" I keep saying it, I want my Piper back.

"That password is recognized only in my voice or my husband's. C-01 really was in love with you. Thats why I decided to delete all data she have. It's for her good and for you. Im sorry" Carol said.

"Im sorry I didn't understand anything about you Pipes. Im sorry, all I know that I love you so much. Please come back to me." I said while still not moving in my position.

Carol looked at C-01 and she cant believe her eyes. C-01 is crying, the tears is falling in her eyes.

"Im sorry." Carol said to alex. "Larry will you please?" Larry just nodded

I can feel Larry is standing in my back. And he inject something in my neck. My body felt numb. And my eyes is closing I feel sleepy.

"Pipes" thats the last word I can say before I lose consciousness.
