Chapter one : broken
Author's Note : Well just to say what the story is about, let's just say it's about zuko and a female avatar aang who i will be calling ana or anne in this fic, and it's kinda my first time doing this so please review if you like to correct me or something like that but anyway back to it in this fic zuko is kinda ooc well not that way his more quite and stuff, you will notice lets just get on with it hope you enjoy oh and before i forget i want you imagine a anime version of them when reading the story that's how i imagined them, at least it's your choice but still to make it more interesting well your choice, anyway on with the story

Chapter one : Broken
It was just a day like any other in the fire nation well if you imagine the firelord running across the street as a day like any other then your absolutely right it was just a day like any other, except oh this every day on the date September 24th, 1920 the firelord first born child was too be boned and frankly speaking he was a little too late for the delivery which also explains why anyone who saw the firelord running didn't react and just pretended like they didn't know the guy which they 100% did but didn't want to get in trouble so this is way the saying look away child just look away child come's in perfectly but right now the firelord couldn't careless what anyone thought since he was on a race with time for something more important which was the birth of his child he didn't have time to look polite since he already wasted enough time by now he only hoped his wife was alright but he would be finding out soon enough since he was already there he quickly asked the maids where she was and they knew immediately who he meant but before they could answer, there conversation was cut short by crying not just any crying but the crying of a new born baby which the firelord thought was his and quickly took off, completely forgetting the fact that they maybe a chance that someone else was given birth that same day geez you dumb ass but he was right so he isn't a dumb ass but still, anyway he quickly arrived at the door where the crying was coming from opening it without a second thought but seriously though let's be honest here his literary the firelord who would stop him oh have i been saying firelord i meant firelord second son ozai yeah ozai future firelord anyway when he opened the door he was greeted by his wife Ursa looking down at something or someone smiling at them ozai immediately knew who it was and his heart for a moment stopped, his wife immediately looked up hearing the door close behind someone and smiled a wider smile and said look it's a boy, ozai after all that running finally let out a sigh of relief his wife stopped smiling at once and stared at him from head to toe and then said with a wide smile
"were" hehe "were" "were you running"
"o-of course not" ozai said clearly flushed.
which made ursa fall into a giggle fit and of course ozai merely sighed
"well aside from that you still haven't answered my question" ursa said
"huh what question" ozai said
"geez i said it's a boy so" "what should we name him" ursa replied and added
Ozai thought about it for a moment but the only thing that came to mind was
"hmm madness, angry, surrender, hmm su- suko, hmm zuko, zuko!" he shouted as if finally coming to a conclusion ursa head picked up wanting to hear his answer
"how about zuko" he said
"zuko hmm," she replied
ozai was eagerly awaiting her answer saying if she doesn't like it am never naming another child ever again, but then her head immediately picked up as if coming to a conclusion of her own and finally said
"zuko i like it, it's a great name it shows he will never surrender no matter what happens but i honestly do hope he doesn't get the you know anger from you know... you" ursa said while smiling
"oh i have no idea what you mean" ozai said pretending not to understand her as he looked the other way without moving from his position, which made ursa giggle even more and in time ozai finally let out a slight smile and thought
"i hope you will be as strong as your name zuko"
"he will" his wife quickly replied as if reading his thought and they shared a slight smile one more time
And that's how it all began but unfortunately...ended differently...
A year and a half later and the child was already showing promise not soon did he enter one year did he firebend or more appropriately accidently firebend but that on his own was still a great fit after all he was still just a one year old child and because of that he was know as a prodigy above prodigies and his parent's couldn't be more proud but still it was kinda scary how a child with such a cute face would legit do something so terrifying and still give off such a cute smile yep he really was the son of ursa and ozai but anyway skip to a year and a half later when zuko had finally become 2 years old but on this current date on 85 AG zuko couldn't careless since something more important had come up he was to be expecting a sibling by now since his mother was once again giving birth he couldn't wait or just stay still "was it a girl or was it a boy" he was so exited to see what it will be while his father ozai that was sitting next to him was complimenting whether to tell him to stop or just let him be since he was technically shaking them both on the sit, but he quickly diminished that thought when he had a sudden cry from the door before them which made him get up even faster than zuko could going straight for the door with zuko following straight behind him yeah like father like son indeed ozai just like the first time of course opened the door like it's nobody's business but let's be honest was it really in which he proceeded to stop in amazement "even now she still have so much energy" ozai thought but was brought back to reality by the baby increasing her crying tone which was quickly followed by zuko's mom ursa saying "oh dear she seems to be a feisty one" which ozai shocked quickly followed up with "she?" and ursa replied "yes she's a she and you know what that means i get to name her" she said while grinning which zuko quickly followed up with "cool" and ursa replied "see even zuko agrees with me" ozai then finally replied and said so only him could hear "don't get your hope's up he clearly care's about the baby not you" which ursa clearly heard as consent to her giggles ozai only sighed as zuko stared at them blankly wondering what they mean by all that but ozai then said
"well what are you gonna name her"
"hmm how about azula huh?" ursa replied
to which ozai said "but isn't that-"
"yes from the name azulon thought it would suit her perfectly after all"
she paused for a moment to show the baby in her hands and it was only then the ozai realize she was still crying and just increased her tone again when she realized they where ignoring her "smart but annoying" ozai thought which ursa replied with "oh come on" "how does she even- geez, .'sigh'" ozai thought while she grinned more widely "there were ignoring the baby again" zuko thought
"hey wait can i try" zuko said which made ozai send him a death glare like he might be a prodigy child and all but there are setting things even a child shouldn't do which is picking up another child like come on really but all that was for a waste as ursa simply said "sure she seems to like you even" which ozai had to admit was true since she had been staring at him curiously or as curious as a baby's face can get when he suggested carrying her and even stopped crying immediately "sigh, i guess it's fine then" zuko's head immediately picked up and he smiled widely saying "gimme gimme" and azula was handed over to him in which he fairly held her well but his mother still used her hand to slightly support him well at least he tried but from the moment azula entered his arms she was quietly staring at him blankly with him returning the same look until she suddenly jerked her tiny body and started laughing and giggling which made zuko and ursa smile while ozai just let out a sigh of relief as always but smiled slightly which ursa of course clearly saw and finally that was how the story of zuko and azula began
Zuko was annoyed not just at a particular person but everyone around him he was now 5 years old which meant azula was 3 but that wasn't important right now what was important and was actually annoying was the way everyone's attitude towards him suddenly changed no not because he was weak nothing like that he was still known as the prodigy above others but because he never uses his fire to attack anyone and only defense himself in an untouchable stance no that wasn't enough for them especially his father who openly called him weak for not being able to attack and hurt others and favored his so called prodigy sister who could easily hurt others especially the maids with her flames without a second thought from age 3 even and zuko hated her for it. hack some even go as far as to call him water tribe which they end up regretting consent to his mother immediately punishing them
"am glad she is the only one that didn't change" zuko said to himself
"ZUKO!" but he then heard his name in the distance and turned to address who it was only to see his 3 year old sister running towards him smiling almost looking innocent and hiding her true nature he immediately felt detest towards her and replied cold heartedly
"what do you want azula am busy" she immediately noticed his tone towards her and felt confuse
"zuzu di- did i do something wrong" zuko always hating that nick name she calls him snapped
"DON'T CALL ME THAT!"
startled she immediately stepped back with tears in her eyes "zuz-zuko" she replied almost crying zuko still not catching on shouted "WHAT!" and then
"WHHAAAAAA ZUZU YOU HATE ME DON'T YOU WHY DO YOU HATE ME I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG HAAAAAAAAAA" zuko finally coming to his senses and finally realizing he snapped at his little sister tried to cheer her up but when he approached her she moved back again as if afraid of something, him. that hit zuko hard and then he calmed down a little and said
"am sorry azula i didn't mean it i was just in a bad mood and i kinda just let it out on you am sorry and i promise to make it up to you so-so you don't have to be afraid you know i won't hurt you right so come on come to zuzu" he said the last part smiling. azula at first hesitated slightly but then shook her head smiling and run up to zuko and gave him a hug almost tripping him but he caught himself and laughed saying in his mind "naa she's not that bad she's just a kid she will grow out of it eventually"
in the distance stood a man clearly old but his facial's looked so young you wouldn't know unless they told you he had golden eyes and a clearly displeased frown on his face as he sighed as always walked away and said "well not for long"
By a water stream two lone figure could be seen feeding ducks the first one was a women that looked so young you would think she was 16 or something(remember guys anime version :) ) but anyone from fire nation would easily guess who she was because of her long black raven hair yes it was ursa the fire nation princess and beside hair was a boy who had similar hair but looked dead on like the famous ozai but some might say slightly more handsome trust me even his mother did in fact she's ranked one in the list of people who said his slightly more handsome and ozai reaction was simple a shuddered yep that's him but anyway back to the story the boy had shoulder length hair and his face (i don't think i can help you there just imagine the best anime face that would fit zuko like a young sasuke or something) with him keeping a slight smile (hmmm sasuke smiling tho no no ha ha sorry sorry ok back to it) on his face which can hardly been seen when his not with his mother or maybe iroh and Lu Ten well at least before he died "bad memory bad memory look up not down" zuko thought and then heard footsteps but thought it was kids playing so brushed it off quickly but then heard his name "ZUZU!" "huh? who else would call me zuzu except azula" zuko off handedly said then turned back slightly to see who. only to see tylee one of azula friends running towards him scared or something he was about to ask what happened only to be stopped midway as tylee hugged his back and spun him around to face the opposite direction zuko could only blink as a reply wondering what she was so afraid of so he just waited only to see mai another azula friend walk out of the corner zuko face at that moment showed absolute confusion that his mother had to suppress a giggle but he didn't notice since he was still trying to put the nuts together mai chasing tylee mai didn't even look like she cared either way so zuko could only come up with "was tylee messing with me or something 'sigh' is this another stupid prank" "tyle-" he was about to ask her but stopped when he saw a girl with long black hair reaching her waist walked out he immediately knew who it was because of the stupid smirk she sent his way now everything made sense
"azula" zuko said simply
she smiled whether genuine or not you wouldn't be able to tell
"hello zuzu missed me" yes it was azula now 7 years old but already looked like a younger version of her mother beautiful enough to make a whole city of man bow down without effort some might even say more beautiful than her mother looked when she was younger even ursa agreed "if only she were nicer" ursa added but no matter how azula tried that never seemed to work on zuko which annoyed her greatly she worn a white dress matching her long black hair (remember anime version) and her face looked so cute and innocent you wouldn't know what was underneath but that didn't fool zuko 'sigh' he sighed as he then said
"what happened now azula"
"oh whatever do you mean am not the one holding onto you why don't you ask her yourself" azula said clearly annoyed but smiling nonetheless that's all that matter's really
"i-it was an accident i-i didn't mean it" tylee replied
"an accident really tylee" azula said in a cold tone making shivers run down tylee's spine 'sigh' "what happened azula" zuko said once again
"'sigh' zuzu remember that matching hairpin mom gave me and you" azula said never breaking her smile
"yeah" zuko replied simply
"well this" azula stopped for a moment looking for the nicest thing to call her infront of zuko why she needed to do that she will never understand
"girl here supposedly flushed it down the toilet and came to tell me she accidently flushed my hairpin down the toilet, now you tell me was it really" azula finished still smiling if this wasn't azula zuko was talking to he might have even laughed "i mean it's just a hairpin" zuko thought
"but still tylee i don't believe you thought hiding behind zuzu would save you from me" azula said while smirking making tylee shiver in terror and held zuko tightly
" 'sigh' if that was all you know you could have just asked me and i would have given you mine azula" zuko finally said to which azula replied
"of course not why would i want something from a weakling like you"
"azula!" ursa finally said something but zuko completely ignored her insult and said
"right you can take it if you want it's on the first desk in my room" which annoyed azula greatly and then she taunted again
"what's wrong zuzu afraid i will beat you again"
"'afraid' if i remember correctly you could hardly even beat me even though i was just defending and technically weren't attacking" zuko replied Emphasizing the word afraid to get his point across but azula being azula simply replied
"oh come off it zuzu we all know that's why your called weak or more clearly why dad hate's you"
"AZULA!" ursa said again this time raising her voice loudly
"oh shut up azula if you really think you can beat me well come on" zuko said finally having enough of her nonsense which surprised both ursa and tylee knowing that zuko doesn't like to fight to which tylee tried dragging him as if to say he shouldn't but before she could azula replied
"as you wish brother"
ursa now seeing things were getting out of hand tried to stop them but was already too late because azula had released a huge azura flames heading straight towards zuko tylee tried to pull him down but he wouldn't bulge he just stood there staring at it coming towards him without flitching or blinking but that wasn't because he wasn't afraid it was because that wasn't what he was seeing he was seeing a black tread trying to pull it self apart but since it couldn't it simply banged it self and in a instant zuko right hand raised with speed even azula's eyes couldn't catch as he used his bare hands to catch her flames holding it in spot which shocked everyone there but shocked azula for a different reason she thought his hands would be burnt, and it really did burn zuko's hand slightly if he actually felt it he didn't show his eyes looked hollow losing his previous spark as he simply bought the flame back a little in other to form a fist which made ursa that was close to him move back because of the heat while tylee simply held on tight not wanting to let go and with a force clearly promising damage zuko let the flames go and in the history of the prodigy child that was the first time he ever attacked and it was his little sister at that who having being hit by the flames screamed and it was then zuko came back to his senses hearing his sister scream like that but it was already too late the damage had already been done the white dress that zuko really knows she love was already burnt and was already taking a blacken Color but zuko couldn't careless about that he was really thankful she didn't get burnt but when he tried to approach her calling her name she screamed "DON'T COME CLOSE!" zuko stopped dead in his track surprised as azula got up and ran half way then stopped and turned to zuko with a sadden smile saying
"so you would pick her over me"
that hit zuko hard like a knife stabbing him in the heart he had a brief flashback about when she was 5 and said something similar which made him sadden even more but before he could say anything she already left running with mai immediately following after her zuko knowing there was nothing he could do didn't follow after her and just dropped his hands and looked down tylee then decided it was a good moment to come out from behind zuko bowing her head slightly saying thank you then sorry and then followed after them probably to cheer azula up zuko thought but then zuko went back to what happened that feeling it felt like it blocked everything around him except the supposedly enemie in fort of him it felt scary "i just hope azula will forgive me" he thought "she will" his mother replied he wasn't surprised she was always good at guessing what someone was thinking he just hoped she will at least never leave him
if only that wish could have...come true...wouldn't that have been nice
A few days later ozai called for his family saying they were meeting firelord azulon they had a few minutes to prepare zuko had just finished but then noticed his hairpin was missing and then simply smiled to himself knowing who took it "so she actually did take it after all" he didn't mind if she used so he just let his hair flow freely "well at least it wasn't at long as hers" he thought as he finally steps out to see his family waiting on him he immediately saw the hairpin on azula's hair the same time ozai asked him where was his which he replied with "oh i kinda lost it" which shocked azula since she didn't think he would lie he lost his for her but she quickly looked away pretending not to care which made ursa smile at a her since she noticed her red cheeks which azula proceeded to ignore of course and then ozai finally replied "well no worries just come along" and then everyone followed time skip to when ozai askes azula to show azulon her skills which she did perfectly at least making zuko impressed while azulon face stayed the same and when ozai was about to say that's all zuko stopped him saying "i would also like to show what i have learned" to which ozai at first hesitated but then agreed and zuko then said without thinking clearly directed towards azulon "i would also like to ask you to order a guard to attack me or you could just do it yourself" that shocked everyone there zuko just asked firelord azulon to attack him zuko at first not understanding what he just said was wondering why everyone was so quiet and when he finally got what he said might have meant it was to late as azulon finally spoke up "ohh so you said you want me to attack you prodigy" yes even azulon was aware of zuko firebending at age 1 and also aware of him not attacking anyone ever no one knew about the azula incident so don't ask zuko tried to correct himself but was cut short by azulon saying "ozai would you do the honors" ozai at first didn't say anything he only slightly looked at zuko wanting to know what he thought but didn't see any fear only surprise so the only nodded with zuko sighing slightly but then they both got into the far end of the palace azula was scared at first for him but quickly calm when she saw the confident expression he was making. and then finally back to ozai and zuko, ozai first sparked flames in his left palm slightly as if signaling zuko, zuko immediately understanding got into a fighting position ready to block it and then ozai unleashed a flame so huge and hot even azulon felt it and smiled not expecting zuko to block it and when he looked at him he was sure zuko wouldn't be able to block it zuko eyes was wide up as if afraid ozai noticing this was shocked and thought it was too much for him to block but it was a little to late it was already heading towards zuko with freighting speed but that wasn't why zuko was looking like that it was because there it was again the same black tread pulling stronger trying to tear it self apart and when it again couldn't it banged on it self harder than before and in an instant zuko two hands shot up so fast firelord azulon and ozai gasped and before the fire could get to close to zuko's palm he held it in the air stopping it dead on and the swung around controlling the flames like a water bender and to everyone it almost looked like he was about to attack but ozai remembering zuko doesn't attack was about to sigh in disappointment but quickly stopped when he noticed zuko haven't stopped his movement and was about to release it and then with force obviously aiming to kill he let go ozai and azulon gasped once again zuko the prodigy attacked zuko's currently hollow eyes looked with ozai's and when he saw the shocked expression on ozai's face he immediately came to his senses but was to little to late once again as he had already let go of it he was afraid his father couldn't stop it but that was obviously stupid since when the flames finally got close to ozai his expression turned serious as he only brought his left hand up and cut it into two proceeding to destroy the flame at once without effort which made zuko stare in amazement as ozai only looked away and smiled slightly at zuko finally attacking but of course things don't work out the way you want it to. azulon stared at zuko with a frown
"he really his roku's grandson" said azulon and with annoyance dismissed them except ozai (you guys already know this part so am gonna skip to azula visiting zuko's room that night)
zuko laid in his bed not only did he still not know what that black tread means but now he as to worry about ozai killing him great just great "well whatever" zuko said as he sat up hearing his door open only to be greeted with azula's smiling face "ohh speak of the devil she must really be happy right now isn't she" zuko thought
"oh zuzu~"
"what do you want now heh azula haven't you ruined my life enough already heh" zuko replied azula at first looked hurt but quickly covered it up with a fake smile
"oh whatever do you mean zuzu~~~~" azula replied but by then zuko heard had enough of her and snap at her once again
"OH WOULD YOU JUST SHUT UP WITH THE ZUZU YOU WITCH"
this startled azula as clearly showed by her surprised face but he didn't stop there of course not
"ALL YOU DO IS JUST TORMENT ME WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU DO REALLY WHAT ME TO DIE THAT MUCH WELL FINE AM GONNA DIE SOON SO EITHER WAY WE WONT BE SEEING EACH OTHER EVER AGAIN SO" at this point zuko was already crying while azula was trying hard to hold the tears in her eye's "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE I DONT CARE IF YOU DON'T CRY IN FACT I ALREADY KNOW YOU WON'T AFTER ALL YOUR JUST A MONSTER WHO ONLY CARE ABOUT NO ONE BUT HERSELF RIGHT AM SURE YOU WILL JUST LAUGH IT OFF WON'T YOU LIKE THE MONSTER THAT YOU ARE THAT WHY I HATE YO-" 'SLAP' everything had suddenly gotten really quiet expect the silent crying of a little girl yes azula was crying zuko could only stare wide eyed the last time he saw her crying she was only 3 but now azula the supposedly cold hearted princess was crying zuko didn't move it was almost as if he was afraid if the moved he might make her cry even more so he just waited it felt like hours even though it was barely a minute until she talked again
"you know as much as i always tried to hate you because of what father was telling me i never could" azula finally said zuko still didn't move or say anything until she continued
"i would always try to catch your attention by staring at you but you would never once look back, you would always talk to your friends when coming back from school but you would never say a hello to me and you say i torment you of course i torment you i had too because if not you would have never payed attention to me but even then you would still be cruel to me saying i was rude heartless when all i did was try to get your attention when all i wanted was for you to notice me even if in a bad way even if it meant you hating me" (damn that's clicher than i expected well no matter on with the story) zuko didn't know what to say how to take it all he could muster and say was
"why"
"what do you think it's because i love you zuzu am your little sister you idiot of course i love you" zuko could only look down and laugh bitterly oh the irony he always said she was cold and heartless yet it was completely his fault now it all made sense what you meant by "so you would pick her over me" wow the irony of reality it was all his fault but there was nothing he could say now that would set things right so i did the first thing that came to his mind he opened his two heads up as if saying come to me azula immediately picked up that was what he meant and quickly jumped on him which ended up making them fall on his bed and zuko and azula let out a laugh with zuko saying "you never give up do you" which azula replied with "never ever" and they laughed once again (ok so am just gonna do a time skip and explain since am getting sleepy and it really long and cliche so what happens next is zuko saying it's time to sleep she should go to her room but she refused saying would stay there which he finally gave into saying something about ozai making his life more miserable with azula saying she will protect him and zuko saying he would like to see her try and they both drifted off to sleepy with zuko wishing that moment would last forever which wouldn't since this prologue is suppose to be a tragedy and ursa entering the room to say her final good bye to zuko and was happy to see them together if only that could last she thinks and tells zuko to take care of his little sister even though he didn't hear her and left with zuko opening his eyes slightly to and address her back for the last time and quirky went back to sleep and when morning came firelord enters zuko's room to ask where azula was only to see them sleeping and simply laughed bitterly and said well not for long and when zuko woke up that day his life immediately changed and him and azula couldn't be more further apart then ever before i will start here now)
just like it was...meant to be
Few years later and zuko was supposedly getting ready to fight a stupid general he spoke out off turn to because the bastard decided it was nice to attack a defenseless village and guess what happens now he has to fight the fat idiot well no matter he plan to disgrace the bastard either way so problem solved right "am sure azula must be really happy right now right am about to get what i deserve right" you could clearly hear the sadness masked by anger if you tried but that didn't matter now what matters was putting that pig in his place zuko thought as he finally tied his long hair into a ponytail (oh yeah zuko and azula is 12 and 10 now just letting you know) and when he was finally done he walked though the curtains ignoring the stares he got from everybody especially his sister and uncle iroh and then sat down where he would be standing when the fight started facing towards the curtains he just came out from and not his opponent (oh how he will be regretting that soon) and then he finally felt the curtain at the opposite direction move making stand up and finally facing his opponent but was completely shocked to see his father and immediately the crowds started cheering and when zuko glanced right he was slightly surprised to see azula shocked and slightly worried and iroh just looking down sadden as if he already knew zuko then stared back at ozai and did the best thing any normal person would do bowed down and begged with ozai saying get up and fight and when he refused to comply ozai walked up to him and kicked his head up and delivered a kick to his face azula retaliated and almost got up but iroh held her down shanking his head which all she could do was sit down and watch but ozai wasn't done as he proceeded to kick a few more times before finally charging a very hot fire in his hand going straight to zuko's face and then said something he will surely live to regret all his life which was "am gonna make you suffer and kill you just like i killed your mother"
and just like that zuko was there again by the black tread but this time something was wrong it was not only try to pull it self apart but this time was succeeding in doing so it was completely tearing it self apart layer by layer until 'SNAP' in the real world ozai's hands was still making his way to zuko's face but immediately stop when he saw zuko's eyes opened it looked 'RED' before ozai even knew what was happening his body already moved 10 feet away from zuko at the same instant he moved red crimson flames shot up from zuko's body engulfing him in red flames everybody cheering stopped surprised at what they were seeing while some stared in awe thinking it was ozai who did that but when they saw the shocked expression on his face they quickly changed there mind and turned to zuko in a perfect moment to see him standing while the red flames in the air was making a sadistic smile while closing its mouth and opening it as if laughing even though they couldn't hear anything there blood immediately ran cold at the most unnatural thing they were seeing now but it cleared when zuko's face finally cleared of red flames all they could see tho was a shell hollow and empty with not a single expression his hair fell to his side since his red flames burnt it off suiting the emptiness of his face firelord at first was shocked but finally smiled and said "ohh is little zuzu mad" and in a instant zuko was infront of ozai with a flaming red fist which only made ozai smile more (by the way i recommend reading this fight scene while listening to the night core seeing red trust me you will love it more) as he easily blocked it with his left hand and got burnt slightly but didn't mind he was to impressed to mind but in a instant zuko was in the air while spinning with red flames oh his legs almost as if he was dancing in the air as he delivered a roundhouse flaming kick which ozai blocked with is two hands with his smile getting larger than before and he decided to play his games holding onto zuko's legs and spurned him around throwing him to which zuko easily caught himself in the air and landed perfectly and was already infront of a smiling firelord once again sending a kick straight to his head which ozai easily blocked once again with his left hand but this time attacked with his right sending a fireball at zuko which he easily dodged by falling down then catching himself with his hands and then spun his legs around using his hands to turn his body fast enough to give ozai multiple flaming kicks which pushed ozai back but zuko still followed up jumping up in the air and getting ready to deliver a final roundhouse flaming kick to which ozai simply raised his left hand while smiling said your strong zuko but still have a long way to go to which he released a huge fire power enough to knock zuko back up to the sky while charging another one in his right hand waiting for zuko to land so he could release it all over him he thought while smiling while zuko had a brief flashback of his mom saying
"how about zuko"
"zuko hmm"
"zuko i like it it's a great name it show's he will never surrender no matter what happens "
"mom am sorry"
"really though you just gonna stop there zuko" a voice asked zuko not knowing who didn't reply
"or are you gonna get up and fight zuzu" that seemed to have gotten zuko attention since his eyes slowly opened but he simply replied with
"I...I...….can't beat him"
"ohhh and why is that cause his your father what nonsense what does it matter anyway he killed your mom and his gonna kill you anyway are you just gonna let him...no of course not right"
"no" zuko replied
"then get up and fight no...kill him right zuzu"
"right I will we will KILL HIM" they both finished
in the real world ozai was about getting ready to finish it but stopped "his he flying" ozai thought to every there zuko had stopped falling and was just hanging in the air and then finally his eyes opened but this time his whole eyes where bright red and not just his pupils and then he spurned around dragging his head back ozai quickly understood what he was doing and immediately surrounded himself with his flame to block it and then zuko let out a roar that made even the dragon of the west look like a joke as iroh froze in his seat and could only say "what" as the flame made contact with ozai's which created a explosion that made everyone close to the arena instantly back away or was blow away while azula that looked like she was about to get up had her mouth agape and finally when the dust cleared they saw ozai with a shock expression and burnt mark all over his body but not too serious as zuko was only slowly walking towards him saying "kill ozai, kill ozai, kill ozai" and then ozai frowned as zuko attacked again but before he could reach him iroh was there saying "that's enough zuko" to which zuko only replied by appearing in front of iroh and sent multiple fire kicks at him which iroh blocked it fairly easy and caught his leg to which zuko lit his with red flames and iroh followed after and lit his hand with his flames but it was pointless as his merely turned as red as zuko's own burning his hands which immediately made him let go and backed away but zuko followed after with his flames lit in his hands and was about to send it towards iroh and ozai but it clashed with blue flames as azula was in front of him shouting "snap out of it zuko!" but he simply pushed her back with his fist and roared as if charging another one but then suddenly stopped as his eyes slowly turned back to normal with his pupils still red as he closed his eyes and fell but before he could hit the ground azula caught him and shook him to see he was unconscious and that's when ozai spoke
"what insolence he will sure be punished for this by me personally" ozai says as he starts walking towards zuko only for iroh to stop him saying
"that's enough ozai you have done enough" to which ozai angrily replied
"you dare address me in such a manner I will-" but was cut of by azula shouting "THAT'S ENOUGH" which made all the candles in the room lit blue for a sec and died out at first ozai was shocked but then smiled and said "well no matter that's enough for now he will still be banished either way"
azula could only look down sadly and cried not caring what anyone thought of her after all zuko was more important
right...?
Zuko finally awoke to an unfamiliar setting and tried to sit up after doing that he noticed something felt off as if he was missing something in side he felt empty but didn't know why he finally noticed someone beside him he turned only to see azula staring back at him with her usual fake smile he just looked away got up saw his cloths and put them on and then azula decided to give him the bad news so she got up and said "zuz- i mean zuko" it's been a while since i last called him that she thought then shook it off and finally said " you have- you have been banished " azula finally said but he didn't reply only nodded to confirm he heard her and that was all she could say as she followed him to the ship to see him off and when they finally got she was expecting zuko to at least say something but all he did was look at her then nodded and walked in when he got in he saw iroh who he also nodded to as azula just stood there at least waiting for them to leave or was it something else? she didn't know and finally the ship moved but not before zuko turned back to look at her one more time as she gave him a smile no not fake one a real and honest smile she had ever given in years hoping that one day they would meet again

Author's Note: finally end of prologue oh and the voice colored in black that always talks after each moment of zuko's life for example the "that's how's it all started but ended differently" is part of the story and it's not just me writing random things but anyway the next chapter is where it actually starts so plz R&R oh and before i forget the reason zuko was starting like that in the ending was because after he snap he became hollow inside and that's how he will be in most of the chapter aang katara and sokka are in the next one so anyway
