At a warehouse in Harlem, a group of workers repair damaged machinery inside a garage. A few SUV's pull up among the crates, palates, and construction equipment which gets the attention of the workers. They quickly escape into the warehouse and shout out warnings. The men in the SUV's hop out with guns drawn, showing that they are Carbones. Moments later, a group of Hatchet Gang members race out to meet them with axes and guns. They fire and the Carbones duck for cover behind the various objects around them and return fire. One gang member ducks behind a crate to avoid a hail of bullets and pulls a hatchet form his jacket. He pops back up and begins to hurl the axe, but the blade is caught in the palm of Luke Cage.

Cage shoves the blunt end of the axe back into his face, knocking him out. A Carbone member opens fire on Cage but the bullets bounce off his back. Cage turns and races toward the gunman, easily slapping the gun out of his hand and then knocking him out with a tap on the head. Cage turns and whistles loudly across the construction area. Sugar and his men race on to the scene with baseball bats and other blunt weapons. They tackle both Carbone and Hatchet Gang members alike and begin beating them. One Carbone member manages to fire his gun and shoots one of Luke's men just before he gets an axe to the chest. Sugar tries to attack the Hatchet Gang member, but gets a roundhouse kick to the face. Luke grabs the gang member by the back of his jacket and throws him against a stack of palates. One of his men grabs a wrench and slams it across the face of one of of the Carbones and once he's on the ground, begins kicking him violently. Luke approaches the last two gang members who are grappling with one another. Luke slams their heads against one another to render them unconscious.

With the dust settled, Luke looks around and notices one of his men still kicking a mobster on the ground. "Enough!," Luke shouts but his man doesn't listen and continues to kick him. Cage rushes over to him and shouts, "I said that's enough!," and shoves him to the ground. He looks at Luke defiantly but says nothing.

"Hey Luke, they shot Jay," Sugar calls out as he cradles the man who had been shot.

Luke races over to him, "Where?"

"Looks like just the shoulder."

"Sweet Christmas. Let's get him to a hospital."

Roslaie Carbone walks into Ryker's Island Prison, accompanied by guards and is led to a visitation center. She sits down quietly and waits. Soon, a heavily guarded figure enters the room and sits on the other side of the plexiglass window.

"Good afternoon Ms. Carbone," Wilson Fisk greets her, "To what do I owe this visit?"

"Recently, I've had some trouble and I'm quickly running out of resources. My family has been getting attacked from all sides. Not just from the Chinese but also Frank Castle, Luke Cage, ... and even your old pal, the Devil of Hell's Kitchen."

"You are requesting my assistance in this matter."

"I figure if Daredevil is involved, you might want to have a little payback."

"He and I have a... mutual understanding. I do not go after him and he does not go after the woman I love. That said, I can be indirectly involved in this affair without drawing attention to myself. I do have a number of resources that might interest you."

"I'll take whatever I can get."

"As you know, I make it a point to be aware of the goings-on in the city. Recently, I have become interested in the skillset of a young woman. When I heard of her, I was not sure if I would ever be in need of her talents but I do like being prepared. She is a former soldier and a private investigator who is willing to do what is asked of her. No questions. She captured Daniel Rand and fought against Triads in Chinatown. in the past She might be useful in your conflict."

"Tell me where to find her."

"Understand she is not aware of who I am or that I know her location. She might not be... agreeable."

"I know the risks. Where is she?"

"She is currently living in Arizona. I will have my lawyer, Mr Donovan contact you to give you the details."

"Thank you, Mr. Fisk. Is there any way I can return the favor?"

"This woman may or may not end up killing the Devil of Hell's Kitchen but, if they cross paths, I doubt she will make his life any easier. That, to me, is reward enough."

Luke sits in his office along with several of his men. They all have various cuts and bruises from their encounters with the Hatchet Gang and Carbone Family.

"We did alright at the warehouse today," Luke tells them, "We hit Rosalie Carbone's house next. I'll draw the gunfire and take out her goons. When the coast is clear, you guys rush in and tear the place up. Look for guns, drugs, anything we can use against them."

"Are we gonna at least get bullet proof vests this time?," one of the men pipes up.

"What?"

"I don't know if you noticed, Luke. We ain't bulletproof like you. It wouldn't be so bad if you let us carry a few nines or someth'n but you don't want us having guns."

"I got you. Don't worry about it."

"Yeah? Jay got shot today. I almost got my damn arm cut off by an axe. You don't got shit!"

"Excuse me?"

Sugar stands up to calm the situation down, "Luke, what I think he's trying to say is we're a bit nervous and feel... under prepared."

"I don't feel nervous," another one chimes in, "I just don't know why we're doing this. Why not just let the Chinese and the Italians kill each other. We take what's left."

"That's not how we do business."

"How do we do business, Luke? Those cats out there ain't having it no more. They're fighting in Harlem and that's the one thing you said not to do. This ain't working."

Luke begins a rebuttal but one of his men looks out the window of his office onto the dance floor of Harlem's Paradise. "Yo Luke, you better come see this, man." Luke peers out the window and sees Misty, Colleen, Daredevil, and Jessica Jones standing silently. It's day now, so there is no business, making the room very empty and suitable for battle. Luke sighs, "Okay, everybody bounce. I'll handle this."

His men file down the steps and out the door. They look nervously at the group gathered but their attention is drawn to the crow's nest above. Luke stands at the railing and takes it all in as the last man leaves the building. "You've been busy, Misty," he says.

"You knew this would happen."

"Yeah," he looks at Daredevil, "Hey, man. Welcome back from the dead."

"Luke."

"Hey, Jess."

"Hey."

"So where's Danny?"

"He's on his own mission," Colleen tells him, "He gave me the power of the dragon."

"There's no such thing as dragons."

"I'm starting to know what Danny had to put up with."

Luke puts his hands on the railing and leaps off, landing with a loud THUD in front of the group. He calmly takes off his blazer and tosses it on a nearby table. He buttons his sleeves and rolls them up. "So," he asks the group, "Who's first?"
