The front door to Tilda's shop is knocked off its hinges and falls to the ground, its window shattering. Cage walks through and examines the area. Misty follows with her gun drawn. It doesn't take them long before they realize the shop is empty.

"Don't know why I expected her to be here," Cage groans.

"If she expected you, she might've left a message," Misty tells him, then spots the note taped to the counter, "There."

He picks it up and reads, "Pop's Barbershop 9pm. I guess she wants to talk," Cage tells her.

"Is she gonna talk?," Misty asks, "Or is it an ambush?"

"Even the lowest criminal in Harlem knows to respect Pop's."

"Your brother didn't."

"He wasn't from Harlem."

Matt goes over some briefs with Foggy at their office. "I know you're a bit swamped with your nightlife," Foggy says, "But if you'd like to help share the load, it'd be much appreciated."

"Sorry, Foggy. I'll do what I can here but I have to return to Harlem as quickly as possible."

"Can't you get one of the other Avengers do it?"

"We're not the -"

"You know what I mean."

"We work in shifts. There's a hit out on Castle so I have to stand guard. I'm taking one for the team."

"Y'know, I'm beginning to regret telling you to be a team player."

"Best advice you ever gave me."

Karen comes through the door with more paperwork, "Don't forget. We have a court date next week."

"I'll be there," Matt informs her, then turns to Foggy, "Promise."

"Are you gonna bring Frank Castle along if he's still in trouble?"

"Frank Castle's in trouble?"

"He's in holding," Matt explains, "People are trying to kill him, including some corrupt police officers so we're guarding him until this is all over."

"Matt, uh,... Could I speak to you in private for a moment?"

"Sure. Be right back, Foggy."

They leave and Foggy watches with a concerned look. Matt and Karen go into a storage room.

"I've... been in contact with Frank Castle recently."

"In what way?"

"The first time was right after you... disappeared. He needed my help against some CIA operative or something. He ended up saving me from a bomb attack. It was complicated. The second time was shortly after he was arrested by Mahoney. I... helped him escape the hospital. Then he called me not too long ago to ask about Luke Cage."

"Geez, Karen."

"I know. Frank's mostly misunderstood. Obviously, I don't agree with his methods, but he's a good man. I wanted to help but I owe it to you to tell you."

"It's bad enough you know my secret. If the authorities link you to him in any way..."

"I know. I know."

"From what I can tell, Castle likely wants you to keep a safe distance."

"He does, actually."

"When this is over, he's going to be put away for a long time. I know you care about him, but he has to stand trial."

"Yeah, this was inevitable. I guess prison is better than death."

Jessica and Luke meet up and she hands him the files as they walk down a sidewalk. "Damn, girl," Luke notices Jessica's bruises, "What happened?"

"I ran into one of those assassins. I think it was the one Matt mentioned. On a related note, here's all the info on Dr. Burstein. From all indications, that guy has been enhanced, so I'm sure you'll find something."

"I might need you to pay a visit to him for me. For now, I got other issues."

"The evil hippie chick?"

"Yup. I have to meet her tonight. Hopefully, we can eliminate her before she burns down anymore buildings."

"I assume you're getting some of the others to tag along?"

"Seems like the best option for now."

"Thankfully, when this is all over, we can stop this team-up bullshit."

"Honestly, I think it's nice. Even Matt seems to be on board with this and that guy is the sort of dude who doesn't like having too many people around."

"What are you saying?"

"I'm saying, when this is all over, why not have a more permanent team?"

"Yeah, good luck with that."

"Oh, you're not gonna join up?"

"Do you seriously need to ask that question? I'm not... the answer is obviously no."

"We'll see."

"Prepare to be disappointed."

Daredevil walks into an empty cellblock toward a cell containing Punisher. Colleen passes him, "He's all yours. Have fun."

"Hey, Red," Frank greets him.

"Frank," Daredevil begins to speak but stops.

"What?"

"When we first met, you were on trial. You had a team of lawyers."

"Yeah? What about it?"

"You befriended a woman by the name of Karen Page."

"Yeah, I know Karen... So do you."

Daredevil is silent.

"You rescued her from Wilson Fisk, right? She's always sticking her nose where she shouldn't. Yeah?"

He smiles a bit, "Yeah, she means well. She's a good person."

"Yeah, she is. Why are you asking?"

"I recently found out she's had dealings with you. You and I will never see eye to eye, I know that. But you need to leave her out of it."

"Hey, I've tried alright? I know what I've gotten myself into. I don't make any excuses. She doesn't know I'm a lost cause."

"So long as we agree that you'll stop talking to her. You don't call her for information and if she calls you, you ghost her."

"Agreed."

The two men nod and stand in silence.

At Sherry Yang's house, Dex stand sin front of a mirror, wearing a black shirt, pants, and gloves. He begins wrapping white ropes around his wrists and fists, similar to Daredevil's black costume. Sherry enters the room. "What is this?," she asks.

"I failed to kill my target today," he tells her angrily.

"These people are formidable. I warned you."

"It's not that. I realized I need focus. All my life, I had to have something to focus on. Someone used to call it my North Star. I focused on the wrong things, of course. It was a lot of bullshit about what they thought I should be," he motions toward his costume, "The last time I wore something like this, I ... was awakened. I learned the big joke. The Devil of Hell's Kitchen wore something like this. He got to do what he wanted and all he had to do was put on a mask. I understood that. I wanted that. I needed that."

"So... What? You want to be Daredevil?"

"I'm more than that now. The Devil still lives by the rules I once did. I've moved past that. I've surpassed him now and when I meet him again, I'll show him. I'll show them all."

Tilda stands in a warehouse with a golden bowl. Her men stand in a row and she passes the bowl along. Each man reaches in and removes a strange leaf. "An ancient tribe took these before battle," she tells them as they consume the leaves, "The warriors claimed they felt like a pack of wolves: sharp and deadly." The men wait for the leaves to take effect as she sets the bowl down on a table next to some incense, which she lights. "You'll find yourself stronger, faster," she continues as they begin to feel the effects, "You'll feel no pain and there be no fear," many of them clench their teeth and rub their eyes, "I think you're ready." One man arches his back and lets out a roar.
