Not that he didn't care enough to stay, but Harper had been right. The medic needed to go back. Jack knew how to set up a basic IV himself anyway. The Captain flat out refused to be intimidated by the group's power. The fact seemed to annoy Schuldig to no end. Along with it, the fact that the Torchwood leader was damn near unreadable. Unless of course, Schu wanted to turn his mind into swiss cheese. Harkness got the feeling, the only thing saving his poor brain from a brute force thrashing, was the one called Ran. Maybe Ianto, or rather Otoha was it? The flame haired man had no problem with telling him as much.

Suzume, decided they needed to give the older man a chance. Torchwood's cooperation, and help, was essential to the plan after all. "I want to believe we can trust you." She mused with a sigh, adding,"Can we trust you Jack?" Suzu asked seriously, looking Jack right in the eye.

The Captain himself sighed at her question, not expecting her to be so forward so soon. He weighed out what telling the truth would mean. Either they would reject him completely, or appreciate the gesture. "Torchwood made me go when Eszett first wanted to 'sell' Otoha to them." He admitted, "If there was anything to keep from you, It's all I can think of honestly."

The Telepath's eyes narrowed, when again his surface read hit static. Purely going off of body language, he concluded that Harkness wasn't lying, and threw a terse nod at Ran. "Luckily, that still makes me more pissed off at Eszett than you." Schuldig snorted. "Can someone get me an energy drink or something Onegai? Despite how this looks it's not easy." He added in a tired voice. Ran kissed his temple, and left for the kitchen. "You're T3 right? Otoha went to T1 first. So, why did those ass holes send you?" The flame red head asked suddenly.

"Torchwood, was Torchwood, and at the time I was the go to agent for assignments with questionable ethics." Harkness replied bitterly, checking the IV bag merely to have something to do. For a bit, no one really replied, no one wanted to. The older man could tell Schuldig really wanted to say something, but Suzume was giving him a look that kept him quiet. "I swear to you i've changed since then. If I hadn't, he'd be dead." Jack stated with conviction, nodding to Otoha's resting form.

"We might as well go through this now. I've never 'rebooted' Otoha before. I don't know what we'll get when he wakes up." The flame haired man sighed instead.

"He will wake up though?" Jack replied.

"I'm essentially keeping him sedated right now, but I think he'll be ready to wake up in a couple days tops, yeah." The Telepath answered, to strung out to argue more.

The Captain stood with a nod. He walked sedately into the kitchen to retrieve his Webley. "I'll be back." Harkness stated to the other red head as he pulled on his coat.

"Didn't expect you to care so much. Hoping to make amends for your team's appalling treatment thus far?" Ran Fujimiya remarked. Eyes like ice, pulling no punches.

"…Yeah…"

"Good," The swordsman replied. "Oh, and Jack…" Ran called, stopping the man at the door. "This 'reboot' will probably clear T1's programming. My younger brother is No One's door mat, so just be ready."

Jack nodded before he left. Trying not to think of the first time he met Otoha, and how the Telekinetic had been sexy as fuck.
