At Noah Burstein's house, the doctor is thrown against the wall, putting a dent in the drywall. Jessica strides toward him, "You're lucky I'm here instead of Luke Cage."
"You don't understand," he pleads, "I'm trying to find cures for diseases. I don't want any of my subjects to die even if they were criminals."
"Did Willis Stryker volunteer for this experiment?"
"He... He was in a coma."
Jessica grabs him by the shirt and throws him to the floor, "How many more were there?"
"That was my last experiment. The rest were given to some Japanese guy named Kenji Oyama."
"What do you know about these experiments?"
"Oyama specialized in grafting experimental metal to bone to fix spinal injuries."
"Poindexter had a broken back when he was sent to the Raft. Did Oyama experiment on him?"
"Maybe! I don't know!"
"Last question,... I sent Trish Walker there. Do you have any idea what they might've done?"
"Trish Walker? The actress? No, she'd be too high profile. They wouldn't risk it."
"For your sake, you better be right."
Jessica clubs him over the head and knocks him out before leaving.
Luke enters Pop's Barbershop. Tilda Johnson sits in a barber chair, waiting for him while D.W. stands in the corner.
"Tilda."
"Luke."
"It's been a while."
"Yeah."
"Following in your mother's footsteps, I see."
"Not really. I hate politics," she rises out of her chair, "Besides, you're closer to her than I am. You're the criminal and yet, you somehow avoid going to jail."
"Look, I can put this all behind me if you can. We can both walk away now."
"I'd rather not. People like you have been running Harlem for too long."
"It wasn't that long ago that I was walking down the same path you're walking down now. Being a villain in order to be a hero doesn't work."
"Seems to be working out for me just fine."
In the car, Misty and Colleen watch as the two talk.
"How do you think it's going?," Colleen asks.
"I don't think Luke is gonna convince Tilda to step down," Misty tells her, "It's not gonna end well."
Tries screech down the block and the two women turn their attention to the van heading their way. "Shit," Misty is still in the front seat and tries to brace herself just before impact. The van slams into the car, flattening the front end. Luke turns his attention toward the car crash and as he does so, Tilda brings a cloth over his mouth and nose. Luke rips the cloth away from his face, turns, and taps Tilda on the head, rendering her unconscious. His vision blurs and he falls against the mirrors behind him. D.W. rushes to his side, "Luke what was that?". He shakes his head as he blinks heavily, "I think it was chloroform."
Outside, Misty uses her cybernetic arm to knock the door loose. She steps out with a bloody gash across her forehead and is soon joined by Colleen who emerges from the backseat. Tilda's men jump out of the damaged van, wild-eyed and aggressive. Misty ducks under a punch and slams her fist into her assailant's chest, knocking him back. Colleen does a flying kick into another's face. A second man grabs her in a bearhug and slams her against the car. She unsheathes her sword just enough to slice his arm, spilling blood. A sick smile spreads across his face and he does not release her. Colleen slams the back of her head against him and then rolls on to the sidewalk, forcing him to let go. As for Misty, she pulls her gun but one of the men tackles her to the ground, forcing the gun out of her hand. Misty grabs his arm with her cybernetic limb and twists, breaking the arm. He laughs maniacally and she is forced to punch him to get him off her.
In the doorway of the shop, Luke emerges, still a bit groggy from the chloroform. His vision blurred, he does not see two of Tilda's men coming at him with pipes. They both take turns hitting him which drops him to one knee. He manages to regain composure enough to grab one by the jacket and hurl him through the front window of the shop. The second one strikes him across the face with the pipe, so he grabs his leg and throws him into the air, end-over-end.
The men all gather in the street front of Misty and Colleen. She ignites the Iron Fist and warns Misty, "Take cover." Misty wastes no time in rolling over the hood of the car. She slams her fist into the ground, creating a shockwave that throws her opponents into the air. Luke grabs the final one and punches him into the side of the van. The three of them regroup.
"So that went well," Misty scoffs.
In a back-alley clinic somewhere, Typhoid gets her shoulder-wound stitched up by a mob-doctor. Behind her, Rosalie Carbone paces around.
"I get it, I know you're batshit," she scolds her, "But I warned you what might happen if you go into a police station, guns blazing."
"I killed my way through a Sokovian death camp. A police station is a walk in the park."
"Save it! You've yet to kill the Punisher or any of the others and, by the way, Sherry Yang is still out there somewhere and she's got a psychopath of her own on the payroll. You think they don't have plans to kick down the door and kill us both?"
"They'll come after me before they come after you. Relax."
"I'll relax when you get this shit done."
Typhoid turns to her and her voice gets lower, "That sounded a bit disrespectful, Mrs. Carbone."
She quickly becomes nervous but tries to maintain her composure, "Just make sure you do the job I hired you to do," then she quickly leaves the room.
"We're all set," the doctor tells her, "Let me just put a bandage on this and -"
Typhoid grabs his wrist, "No!".
He becomes nervous as well, "But, the-the stitches..."
"Let it bleed," she growls.
On a rooftop, a familiar figure leaps down from the shadows and crotches while overlooking Hell's Kitchen. The figure wears all black with white ropes around his wrists and fists, identical to Daredevil's first costume. He stands up and pulls a black stocking from his pocket. He slowly turns, showing the face of Benjamin Poindexter. He pulls the stocking over his face, showing off a mask not unlike Daredevil's old mask except for the eyeholes. A sinister smile spreads across his face. Bullseye is born.
