ONE MONTH LATER...

Frank Castle puts gas in his van outside a lonesome Roxxon gas station late at night. He wears civilian clothes and talks on a burner phone as he pumps, "The intel's good. You just need the right team... Trust me, they are the best team you can find," he chuckles a bit, "Nah, they wouldn't trust me at all... but they'll trust you... You won't be disappointed." As Frank talks, he spots a man in a leather jacket walking into the gas station. He briefly catches a glimpse of a gun as he enters the gas station. "What will I be doing in the meantime?... You know the answer to that," he hangs up and walks toward the gas station.

Inside, the man in the jacket trains his gun on the store clerk, "Give me all the cash and a bottle of that whiskey back there!" The clerk complies nervously. Frank steps inside, purposefully ringing the bell over the doorway. "You!," the man points his gun at Frank, "Get on the ground and give me your wallet."

"Don't think I'm gonna do that."

"You think I'm playing, motherf-"

Frank pulls a gun and quickly fires. The bullet blasts a hole through the man's head and he flies back into a soda machine. The clerk remains silent and shocked. Frank casually reaches into his pocket and drops a wad of cash on the counter, "For the gas." He turns and silently leaves.

Foggy and Karen hold hands as they are lead down a hallway by Matt. "Is this where you shoot us in the head?," Foggy asks.

Matt laughs, "Yeah, maybe."

Karen stumbles a bit as Matt brings them through a doorway, "Seriously, Matt," she groans, "You know we can't do this as easily as you. Can we look now?"

Matt lets them enter an empty room and takes the blindfolds himself, "We're here."

Foggy and Karen take a look at their surroundings. It's an office: empty but familiar.

"Is this our old office?," Foggy asks.

"It was our old office. Now, it's our new office."

"Wait, the lease is up?," Karen asks.

"I found out the old tenants moved to a new location. This place was up for rent again."

Foggy runs his hands through his hair, "That all sounds great. I mean, we had some great memories here, but... I mean, we can barely afford to work out of my parents' deli and that's for free."

"We got new clients and they put us on retainer. It's a new company that just started... in Harlem."

"Harlem?"

At Pop's Barbershop, DW takes repair tape off the glass of the front door. The window now reads: Heroes For Hire. He happily goes inside and hangs up an open-sign. "I told you Heroes For Hire was a great name," he says as he walks past Luke, giving him a pat on the shoulder as he goes into the backroom.

Luke smiles and turns to Jessica, "I admit the name grew on me."

"I still say it sucks," she puts her arms around Luke, "But Murdoch told me we can't use Alias Investigations anymore."

"Give it time."

She sits in a barber chair, "So you used to work here?"

"Yeah, I worked for Pop. He was a great man. I think he would've liked what I did with the place."

"You know this isn't Sweden anymore, right? With the two of us setting up shop, all kinds of assholes will come gunning for us."

Luke leans in and kisses her, "I'd like to see them try."

The front door opens, getting their attention. Dinah Madani enters the room and looks around curiously, "Hi, I'm not sure if I'm in the right place."

"If you need help, you're in the right place," Luke tells her, "I'm Luke. This is Jessica."

"Dinah Madani," she shakes his hand, "CIA."

"CIA? I didn't expect our first potential client to be... Well, CIA."

"It's somewhat of a covert operation. We'll have to disavow your involvement, so I hope you understand this risk. I heard you people were good, so I hope you liv eup to your hype."

"If you want us to keep our mouths shut and get the job done, don't worry," Jessica tells her.

"We received intel involving a high security prison known as the Raft. I understand both of you have had dealings with the place."

Luke's face darkens, "We have."

"The prison is on international waters, so it's not our jurisdiction. We have word a doctor by the name of Kenji Oyama has been conducting illegal experiments there. He is residing in Japan. We nail him, we can get the information we need to take down the Raft."

"We're in," Jessica rises to her feet.

"We're definitely in," Luke continues, "But if you don't mind... who did you get this intel from?"

"A mutual acquaintance... Guy by the name of Castle."

Luke and Jessica give each other a knowing look. Luke turns back to Madani, "When can we start?"

Danny and Colleen make their way through a forest somewhere in Asia. They wear hiking gear and carry large packs on their backs. They take a look at the map Danny holds and go up a nearby hill. As they clear the hill, they notice a large camp in the valley below. Several tents are set up and the people of K'un L'un mull about. Danny's master, Lei Kung steps out of his tent and smiles as he spots the pair on the hill. Danny looks at Colleen. A smile spreads across her face as she finally achieves her purpose.

Hell's Kitchen at night. Daredevil rises on a rooftop, surveying his city. In the distance, he hears a police siren and gunshots. He turns and rushes across the rooftop and dives off, shooting his grappling line as he leaps into battle.
