Personal Assessment: I don't like this file. Dr. Curt Connors is a gentle man, who wishes to help humanity in medical breakthroughs. I've met him, and he's one of the gentlest people I've ever met. It isn't right to punish him for everything the Lizard does.

Sure, injecting himself with the serum was reckless and impulsive. The man blames himself for so much, when a lot of it isn't his fault. I didn't want to make this file.

Then I decided that I needed to profile the Lizard, and not Dr Connors.

The public is very hypocritical when it comes to the topic of the Lizard. There haven't been any proper casualties at the hands of the Lizard, and damage is dependent on where he is transformed, often at the hands of another villain. Often it is minimal, and he tries to find himself underground, as instinct drives the Lizard persona. This would allow us to clear a path for the creature to head to a nest to rest up and allow Spider-Man to defuse the situation at his own pace.

I don't like how the public can be hypocritical towards Dr. Connors, but Bruce Banner can still proceed as the Hulk, and be a protected entity. The Hulk causes far more damage, Banner has been known to willingly transform in the middle of cities and does have a large murder rap sheet longer than my arm. (VHU-050) Maybe it's because Banner has Oprah Winfrey on speed dial, and Dr. Connors is a poor war vet, with his funding constantly cut. This also is upsetting with the number of times a year Connors and Banner both transform. Connors hasn't turned into his Lizard form in over a year and a half. Banner's recently been seen in Los Vegas, and according to reports, the Avengers had to fight him off. Too many heroes have fought off the Hulk, from Spider-Man to Alpha Flight.

And yet, Hulk gets a pass, and Dr. Connors is a resident threat.
