Personal Assessment: Dr Richards is a brilliant scientist but has his laundry list of limitations. This man has dedicated his intellect for the betterment of mankind, however in many ways, he should try to take care of himself.
He has been diagnosed with a mild form of ASD, and this sometimes shows, especially when he is nervous, insecure or he has other matters on his mind. (see file HFA-002)
Upon meeting him, one would not feel very intimidated. He is a very gentle and considerate man, that sometimes needs to be reminded of slang and other ways of thinking. He often takes things literally, which can cause some complications in communications. If he is to tell an officer something, it would be wise to take it as he means it.
I must question his home life. I have heard that he has a habit of locking himself in his lab for weeks at a time, but I suspect that his home life isn't as sympathetic as the media likes to portray it. I have seen some discrepancies amongst the FF, that upon close inspection, I would like to look into much deeper and properly analyze the family's psychological makeup.
I do theorize that there may have been some early abuse in his home life when he was a child, due to some of his rumored habits, such as his workaholism and his babbling when he is feeling low. And when he is feeling low, he feels really low. (See file HFA-003)
Man… Maybe I should introduce him to a couple of friends in my old psychology classes. He may not be perfect, but this assessment makes me depressed.
