Rose and Scorpius have strayed out a bit recently at the burrow. Ever since Rose broke up with the Ravenclaw Boy, Scorpious has been looking for a chance, and everyother Weasley and Potter starts to notice and decide to help and make the perfect plan to get them together. (Or many plans that go terribly wrong) *FLUFF*
Also is it just me or does victorie sort of give off Rosalie vibes from twilight? Yes i watched twilight dont come at me.
Also- i do realise Dominique is meant to be a girl, i just think with their parents gone they lack Male characters and Dominique would make an okay male.
"I hate you." James whined.
Rose almost laughed and lost her balance as her ankle shook while she was laughing, ruining her perfectly delicate gliding around on the ice. "Not my fault you and Lily thought we should go ice skating." Rose said as she straightened and twirled around James struggling, his hands gripping onto the ice rink walls.
Before she finished her loop around him he had let go of the rink wall with determination to be as good as her, causing him to slide back on his blades and hit the icy ground. He groaned.
"You know you couldve been a sucker like Victorie and Roxanne and stayed at home?" She smiled. James shook his head.
"Hey!" Lily glided up beside Rose stopping suddenly, her long ginger hair was being tied up in a pony tail before she crouched down beside James. "Ill help him- you can go deal with Scorpius my goodness he is a stubborn one."
Rose sighed as the icy air pushed her red curls around her face, "Why cant you-"
Lily held up a hand to shush her. Rose rolled her eyes. "Its always me isnt it."
She stood up from beside Lily trying not to get her fingers sliced off as she jumped up, "Have fun." Lily said sarcasticly as Rose skated off.
She brushed her curls out of her face again and fixed her blue head band, she tightened her jacket and pulled up her jeans trying to fix every problem so in no way could he make stupid remarks about what she was wearing. Stupid Prick.
Rose swiftly passed a couple skating, holding hands. She rolled her eyes. Then she had to dodge some smaller children falling over helplessly. She picked up a smaller girl and helped her to her feet along with her brother, then she skated over to the other side of the rink and immediately spotted the blonde haired boy she didnt want to see.
"Scorpius." She sighed.
"Ah no thanks, what ever you and Lily were plotting over there you can go back-"
"What?" Rose asked. "Im here to help you-"
"Yeah thats what Lily said before she watched me fall over a million times." He snapped. Rose couldnt help but stifle a giggle. Making him smile. "Look Lily just told me to come help you because you were being too stubborn for her."
He still looked at suspiciously.
Rose quickly grabbed her locks and tied them up into a messy bun before she held out her hand. "Ill teach you how to skate and ill hold your hand." she sighed.
Scorpius looked between her and her hand.
Rose peered down at him. "Please or ill just keep bothering you because Grandma Molly would kill me if she found out that i didnt help you..." She kept blabbing on but he let her words float out of his consciousness as he looked at her. She always had this tendancy of looking cute, even with her hair tied up messily she had her pretty ginger bangs out and a singular curl on both sides. Her small, brown, freckles were still sprinkled across her face and her brown silky eyes were alid upon him- He had always been hearing her be referred to as a Weasley but he saw more Granger in her than Weasley. And he liked that.
Her skin glowed softly as the ice made her look more pale.
"Hello?" She asked. Scorpius closed his eyes tightly. You need to stop doing that!
"So does my offer still stand? I help you skate and you stop dobbing me in to Grandma Molly?"
He didnt even listen to what she had just said, he just looked into her soft eyes and took hold of her hand. Rose looked down at her hand, suprised by the gesture. She softly intertwined her fingers with his and frowned as she looked down at the ice. Seeing his bright red face in the reflection, this goofy smile on his face.
She tried to stop the colours from filling her own cheeks.
"Okay." She turned to him, "First step is to let go of the railing."
He did as she said and let his other hand drop from the metal railing. "Second step is.." She sighed, "Do you trust me?" She asked.
Scorpius turned to her before he slowly nodded, She smiled at the curious exspression and question in his blue eyes.
"Okay, try not to fall." She stepped back before she tightened her grip on his hand and skated forward pulling him with her.
"Rose!" He snapped. She giggled as she continued skating pulling him along with her. "You dont need to move to hold on." She laughed as she sped up moving towards the centre of the rink where it was more quiet so they didnt bump into smaller skaters such as children.
She stopped suddenly and almost fell over as he hit her not being able to know how to stop. "Scorpius!" She snapped.
He laughed this time and she faced him and grabbed his arms, "Okay, now when ice skating you push your feet back, not forward, in this rhythm that pushes you forward.
She looked down at her own feet and slid her foot back and slid forward towards him.
He frowned, "Uh, ill try," She skated over beside him and took his hand again almost shivering at how warm he was. She took a deep breath, "Okay, ready?" She asked. He nodded slowly.
"Put your foot forward," She said, "Three, two, one." They both pushed forward off of the ice and glided for a few seconds. They slowed and stopped about a meter from where they were. She smiled, "That was good."
She smiled, "Now do it again but over and over." She sighed, "Three, two, one!" She took his hand and they skated together slowly. "See look how easy this is." She smiled as they skated around the rink.
She let go off his hand eventually and smiled as he skated by her side. "How do you so fast?" Scorpius asked. Rose stopped beside him and next to Lily and James. "How in the world did you get him to listen to you?" She asked im amazment.
Rose frowned, "We held hands and i taught him how to skate." She said quickly. Lily frowned, "Oh."
James met beside the two, a proud grin on his face, "I can skate now, so i think equivalently im better than you." James said clearly.
Rose laughed, "Are you now?" She asked. Scorpius shook his head, "I dont know James- Shes pretty good."
"What its not like she can skate backwards or anything." He said crossing his arms.
Rose smiled, raising an eyebrow and starred at the ground.
She held her hand to her mouth as she softly said, "You wanna bet?"
James frowned, "What?" Scorpius laughed. "You wanna bet?" Rose asked as she looked at him. "Sure." He crossed his arms and Rose smiled freshly as she slid back and skated backwards laughing at James's face.
Lily clapped and Rose smiled, "No thats not all." She smiled. She took a deep breath before she spun around on the tips of her toes, then she skated forward twirling about and gliding across the centre of the ice.
She looked down and focused carefully as her feet twirled and spun around each other, she moved each ankle delicately and softly. Scorpius had left the rink now- getting sore feet. He sat on the benches outside of the rink in the indoor centre. He watched as muggles walked past, a girl and a boy around his age holding hands. He looked back up to Rose and watched her spin around and jump softly on the ice amazing James and Lily. Her headband moving with the swish of her hair, Her cheeks red and blotchy from the cold. Her brown eyes closed as she focused on nothing more but the moves.
To finish off she did a small swirl and came to a stop, facing him, her eyes fluttered open and the instant he smiled and their eyes met her knees buckled and Scorpius jumped up as Rose tumbled over on the ice.
"Im fine!" Rose said inconveniently for the hundredth time as she pushed the ice harder against her ankle. Scorpius sat beside her watching with his eyes firmly glued on her face. Lily and James sat in the back-back seat squabbling.
"Im did better than her-"
"Oh shut it James!" Scorpius snapped. "No i will not-"
"Rose skated one hundred percent better than you ever will!" Lily snapped. James shook his head, "No she fell!" He said angrily. "James you fell a hundred times- She fell once!" Lily argued back. "Yes but she still fell thats the point!"
"She fell once she was done-"
"Thats exactly the point- she did all of that fancy stuff and only fell when she wasnt even moving." Lily sighed. "He does have a point Lily." Rose joined in and suddenly the whole car was a light with argument. "Rose no you did fantastic-"
"Rose did great James-"
"No she fell and she just a bad skater-"
"Like you could do better!"
"EVERYONE BE QUIET!"
The whole car became silent as Victorie sighed in the drivers seat, "No. More. Arguing." She beeped the horn within every syllable.
Rose tucked a curl behind her ear. She looked down at her swollen ankle.
"What about a bon fire tonight in the backyard?" Victorie said softly.
Lily cheered and James glarred at her. Rose just nodded while Scorpius watched her.
Rose glanced at him. He glanced at her. She frowned, Was he-
She shifted in her seat facing him but starring out his window hoping that if he glanced at her should would see it.
He did it again. What the hell. She looked at him in the eyes. He frowned as he starred right back. It was probably a weird thing to do, stare into someone's eyes for several minutes. She thought of it as a peaceful offering in saying, 'why are you starring at me?'
His eyes just wandered from her eyes to her cheeks and then to her hair, before they settled on her eyes again. Rose frowned a little as she tilted her head a little.
He glanced at her lips but then realised his mistake and continued his gaze quickly at her eyes hoping she hadnt noticed. She had because she only mimicked him and glanced at his.
She frowned a little. Maybe she doesnt know what that means. He almost sighed in relief.
Rose turned away from him slipping out of the trance connection they were having she frowned before she turned red. Then she said, "So do we have marshmallows?"
Victorie nodded in the front seat, "Marshmallows, smores, chocolate- were making fruit and chocolate kebabs too."
Lily smiled, "I swear Grandma Molly's trying to fatten us up."
Rose laughed.
The fire exploded with the popping of the dry leaves, flames blew higher and the heat increased intensly, Rose and Hugo jumped back. "Fred!" Rose yelped at the one who threw the cracker leaves into the fire.
Hugo jumped as the wind rustled and the bushes moved. He grasped Rose's arm, "I dont like the forest at night time."
Rose pointed to the house behind them, "Just go back inside." She said in an annoyed tone. She looked up at the starry night sky. "I like the forest at night time."
The backdoor to the burrow opened and Victorie stepped out, Teddy behind her.
"Hey Ted." Hugo said casually as he went off to chat to him. Rose crossed her arms as she sat down on the grass by the fire. "Its freezing."
Fred sat next to her, "How are you freezing in jeans and a hoodie?"
Rose shrugged. Fred smirked, "I know how to fix that." Rose frowned at him as he stood up, "Scorpius! Come cuddle your girlfriend!" He cried out into the trees infront of them. Rose stood up quickly, "Oh my god- really?" She snapped.
He just smirked at her before he walked away on the dirt. Moments later Molly bounded out of the house followed by Louis and Roxanne, both of them deeply in conversation.
Lucy walked out glumly behind them and ran straight over to Rose. "You alright? You look upset?"
Lucy crossed her arms and tucked some of her long flowing sandy hair behind her ear. "Molly, Louis and Roxanne never include me with their meetings."
Rose frowned, "Meetings?"
Lucy shrugged.
Moments later Scorpius, James and Dominique returned, each holding a massive container full of sticks.
Lucy smiled, "Ill leave you to it."
Rose frowned, "What do you mean-" She pointed at Scorpius. Rose glarred at her, "Oh my go- is this Fred's idea? Who told you i like him?"
"So you admit it?" Lucy asked. Rose frowned, "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no! I dont like him- i really dont i just want to find out who thinks i do."
"Everyone." Lucy smiled as she spun on her heel and began walking. "Lucy thats not funny!" She called out, "Lucy come back here right now-"
"Rose-"
The instant she felt a hand touch her shoulder and his voice she spun around and her eyes instantly met his, she had flinched so hard he even looked frightened.
She tried not to lose herself at the sight of him- he'd been gone all day getting sticks in the woods with James.
"Yes?" She asked, slightly panting.
"Uh.." He could see the fire reflecting in her eyes and the panic stricken look, it was almost amusing how much he could scare her sometimes. There was one thing that fascinated him, how if just now, if it were her cousin that had scared her, or anyone else, she would hexed them into next week. But it didnt seem to bother her if it was him. Now come to think of it she was completely calm now.
"Hello?" She asked.
"Oh! Um, Grandma Molly want you to take victorie in with you and make the kebabs." He muttered quickly before he walked away as fast as he could, his cheeks burning dark red. Seriously? You cant just tell her and go can you?
He finished scolding himself and stood by the fire beside James, his hand sheepishly put his hand behind his neck and he grimaced as he starred at the fire.
"'Ho 'ade these?" James asked as he stuffed his mouth with the chocolate dipped strawberries and marshmallows.
"Yeah their really good!" Teddy said.
"Rose and Victorie did." Grandma Molly said.
Rose and Victorie stood proudly by the fire eating their own sticks of the fruit while the others thanked them. "I think they like it." Victorie whispered.
Rose looked over at Scorpius who had finished his, but was talking in depth with James and Dominique, Fred had also joined them and every few seconds Scorpius was glancing at her.
Rose frowned as James looked at her from the distance. Their talking about me.
She scoffed at them silently and walked off into the burrow.
Once she was inside she spotted Lucy and Molly sitting with Roxanne and Hugo.
"Stop being so childish!" Roxanne muttered throwing her red-ginger-brown hair back.
"But its scary-"
"You dont have to watch." Lucy snapped.
"What..." The four turned to her, "..Are you guys doing?"
"Making a plan for tommorow." Lucy held up the peice of parchment to show her. "But unfortunately Hugo here is acting like a baby."
Hugo crossed his arms. "I am not!"
Rose put her arm around Hugo's shoulder. "Come on be nice," She said to her cousins. They all pouted at her, "Your not gonna guilt trip me for bullying." She said sternly.
Her cousins continued writing and Rose peered over Lucy's shoulder. "What ideas do you have so far?"
"Well we have snow ball fight- when the late freeze comes on Thrusday, cake baking competition- wich i think will be fun considering we dont do many Muggle activities, and Wednesday- tommorow- well be watching movies."
Rose smiled, "That sounds like a great plan."
"NOT AGAIN!"
Rose and the four younger kids jumped at the cry that came from outside. "Louis?"
Rose ran outside, everything around her turning darker as midnight neared. almost slipping in the dirt her eyes scanned around at her laughing cousins. what was so funny?
She looked around at what she saw, James, Fred, Scorpius, Albus, Dominique, Victorie, Grandma Molly, the fire, Louis with green hair... Green? Green hair?
"Oh no," Rose gasped.
Hello! Sorry this chapter was a little trashy, ive been busy at the moment. But i promise it will get better, i have more ideas that im trying to work on
, But because i used to write a lot of Dramione i was used to coming up with complicated ways to get them together, because theoretically dramione wouldnt happen unless- insert something here- but now that i write Scorose i cant even think of an easy love story idea. But i dont know what people want, because i have some ideas but their a bit clichè.
